For Cecilia, it had been a long time coming. But she was finally beginning to take back her good name, and she couldn't be more excited for it. She had suffered too long floating around the midcard, facing defeat after defeat no matter how hard she tried to win at all costs and to cling to her pride in her own abilities. But that was the past. She'd trained. She'd been ready. And now, things were going to change. After she had made her return at We Are LAW, Cecilia had shown what new tricks she had picked up, and what she was willing to do to whoever stood in her way. She had been waiting this whole time for an opponent she could truly demonstrate her newly unlocked potential against - and now, she had found one.

"Coming first to the ring, from Detroit, Michigan! At 5'6 and weighing 135 pounds, CECILIAAAAAAA LOMBARD!"

Right on cue, the lights went out in the arena, before they came back on with a flicker - and when they did, Cecilia stood atop the entrance ramp, glowering down toward the ring with a cold and uncaring stare. While she had come to the ring in an elaborate display of lights before, Cecilia didn't seem interested in showing off this time. Without more than a frown on her face, she stormed down to the ring, stomping her feet with each step as her fists balled at her sides. This wasn't the time for trying to build herself up - she could do that in the ring. As Cecilia reached the side of the ring, she pulled herself up through the ropes, walking across to the other end, where she leaned back against the ropes. Folding her arms and crossing her legs, she waited for whatever opponent was on track to face her tonight. Cecilia didn't know who she was up against, and she didn't really care either. They would all fall before her. She knew that as much.

[Devastated]

Great Luvia hadn’t heard a lot about her opponent for tonight, so she was going into this match rather blind. Unsure what to make of it, the blonde aristocrat simply vowed to do the best she could and LAW why she was a talent to keep one's eyes on. She finished lacing up her boots backstage as she would hear the knock on the door, telling her it was her time to make her way down towards the ring.

Stepping out of her locker room, Luviagelita Edelfelt made her way to the Gorilla position where she would stand and wait for the sign of her entrance being ready. Rolling her shoulders a bit, she soon took to the ramp. Stepping out to a cheer from the crowd. A smile upon her face as she waved towards them.

The ring announcer declared her entrance and with it Luviagelita made her way towards the squared circle and climbed up the steel steps. Getting into the ring she would place her hands on her hips and walk up towards the center of the ring. Her eyes would move up and down the frame of Cecilia Lombard as she looked her foe over. With her music dying down so did the cheers and with it all that was left was Great Luvia and Cecilia Lombard in the ring.

The contrast between the two competitors was an evident one, and it seemed almost too perfectly thought-out, a fact that made Cecilia grumble under her breath and roll her eyes as she folded her arms. It was a tale as old as time - Cecilia's opponent, with her carefully curled blonde hair and bright colors combined with her cheerful demeanor, was clearly getting more support from the fans than Cecilia, with her dark attire and aloof attitude, was capable of. It showed in the cheers Luvia got, compared to the chillier reception Cecilia had - while a few people booed her, it seemed many more were content to watch in silence. Given that the American had shown how ruthless she was capable of being even toward people who weren't her opponent, no one wanted to risk getting her ire.

But Cecilia didn't care about that. She was here for a wrestling match, not a popularity contest - and the only thing that would matter in the end would be which woman emerged victorious.

With a slow and relaxed gait, Cecilia strode in toward Luvia, regarding her all the while with disinterest. "Lovely entrance. Bravo, really, bravo," Cecilia muttered, casually clapping her hands. "If you can actually wrestle half as good as your fans seem to think you can, you might actually stand a chance...but I guess we'll have to see about that."

Luviagelita would raise an eyebrow as she watched her raven haired opponent approach with that casual gait of hers, hearing what seemed like sarcastic clapping as she remarked her position and thoughts. From the looks of it her opponent already disliked her, but Great Luvia would simply flick one of her glorious golden hair curls over her shoulder and release a soft chuckle as she looked on at Cecilia.

" If you are impressed by such a simple entrance then bedazzling you with my wrestling skills will be an easy task." Luviagelita spoke out in a confident tone as she would take a step closer to meet Cecilia in the very center of the squared circle with less than a foot separating them. Her intention clearly to show that she was just as confident as her opponent seemed to be.

The referee would of course try and interject and hold them apart for the moment, so that she could call for the bell and get this match underway.

"Hmmph..." The match hadn't even begun, and Cecilia and Luvia hadn't known each other for more than a few short minutes. But Cecilia was already forming her opinions about her opponent. Luvia was confident - smug, even - about her skills, and she seemed to think her victory was already assured. Cecilia hated that about her. As far as she was concerned, there was only room for one at the top of LAW, and it was going to be her. Cecilia was anticipating the moment she could break Luvia, cutting down all those lofty ideals she held about herself in front of her until she had no choice but to accept that she was defeated and that she could never stand a chance. But until then, Cecilia looked on with a disdainful scowl, her arms crossed over her chest.

"You have no idea what you're up against, little girl," Cecilia mocked, her tone cold and detached. She tossed her head back and forth, casually dismissing Luvia. The two stood staring each other down for a moment before the referee got in between them, ushering the two apart. Cecilia was willing to comply with this; after all, until the match started she could hardly tear Luvia down.

*DING DING DING*

As she came forward from her corner, Cecilia lowered herself into a stance, leaning in toward her opponent. Though she strafed around Luvia, her eyes locked onto her, she wasn't going to make any moves just yet. Rather, she was waiting to see how Luvia would open the match - and as soon as she came close enough, Cecilia would be ready to counter, planning on using her momentum against her in order to show her the futility of her confidence!

[Devastated]

To Luvia she found Cecilia to be brash and conceited so far, a woman whom she wouldn't spend time with other than in a wrestling ring and the plan that Luvia had tonight was to defeat Cecilia and show her just what that sort of attitude brought her. The Confident blonde would wait and watch Cecilia with a fixed gaze for a few moments.

When the referee came up towards them and told them to back off, Luvia complied without any complaint. As she would back up towards her corner, she would wait there for a moment or two until the bell rang. Leaving the corner she would start to circle the ring, keeping her eyes at Cecilia. Closing in little by little with the raven haired woman, as she would raise her arms up and try and offer a collar and elbow tie up to start thing off with.

Cecilia may have assumed a stance, but she hadn't closed in on her opponent, instead staying back and waiting for Luvia to approach her. And sure enough, her opponent took the bait. Going in for a lockup would be her first mistake. Such a position was the traditional opening to a wrestling match, putting both competitors on equal footing and requiring their cooperation to meet one another as fellow athletes, each of them theoretically having as much of a chance as the other to take control. It was putting oneself at the mercy of an opponent, with the knowledge that they too would offer themselves willingly.

But all that assumed Cecilia would be on the same wavelength. Cecilia didn't like that. She didn't care about fighting fair, or being on her opponent's level. She knew what she wanted, and she only wanted to win! She had no intentions of locking up with Luvia - but as the blonde approached, that would only leave her open for Cecilia to take the advantage.

With Luvia standing in front of her, arms extended, Cecilia simply looked up at her, saying nothing nor moving from her place. A smirk crossed her face, satisfied with the situation before her and even more excited to have the opportunity to tear her opponent apart presented to her on a silver platter. That look gave only seconds of warning before Cecilia acted. Rather than mirror Luvia's gesture, Cecilia simply pushed herself back up, swinging her leg in front of her to send a kick into the blonde's gut!

[Devastated]

Luvia moved forward with her arms extended and ready to lock up, waiting and watching Cecilia as she anticipated the match to start of properly with the both of them as competitors on equal footing. Though as she moved in closer and closer and finally came to a stop as she waited for the lowered down Cecilia to make her move.

Though...for the moment it seemed as if she being still...she was still in the lowered position and for a moment it might have looked as if she was going in for that lock up. Though that shift rather suddenly as the woman straightened out and then threw her leg up. Smashing her boot into the gut of Great Luvia. " Guuuh!" The Finnish wrestler gasped out as she doubled over, her arms both going around her midsection to try and shield and protect them out of instinct.

Cecilia had to smirk to herself, watching Luvia bend forward in front of her. It was almost too easy. For all she talked big about her abilities, the Finnish woman was all too naive to expect an even fight from someone like Cecilia. She had been caught off-guard, and now, she had been left vulnerable and prime for the taking.

"Pathetic," Cecilia muttered quietly. It was something too quiet to be heard by most in the crowd, but it wasn't aimed at them - she was trying to get underneath Luvia's skin, and to shake the confidence in her, to better ensure she would be open to whatever Cecilia had in store. But she wouldn't leave it at that - Cecilia turned herself to get her arm in place around Luvia's head, after which she would abruptly duck down, swinging her over her shoulder to bring her down in a snapmare! Hopefully, the fact that Luvia was already bent over would give her extra leverage.

[Devastated]

Hunched over after she had been struck in her midsection, the blonde was left coughing and gasping for air, she would shake her head a bit...as she heard the words of Cecilia who mocked her. The blonde was about to try and push herself up straight but as she did so she was met with the arm of Cecilia wrapping around her head and pulling it up over her shoulder.

Luviagelita then felt how she was yanked forward and sent flying forward and rolling over Cecilia's shoulder, thrown down harshly onto her rear with that snapmare! Wincing out upon impact the blonde would shake her head and turn her head to look over her shoulder to throw a harsh glare towards Cecilia.
