    Statistics:
Durability: 9.25/10
Húxiān's chin is extremely hard to crack, and she can take a lot of punishment.
Stamina: 8.75/10
Húxiān has very stellar cardio, but nothing superhuman.
Strength: 7.5/10
Húxiān is noticeably stronger than average.
Speed: 9.5/10
Húxiān is quite agile and can perform explosive movements with ease.
Striking (Offense): 9.25/10
A lifetime of striking has given Húxiān stellar offensive striking skills. She pairs flashy moves with rock-solid fundamentals. Moreover, bad intentions and a blatant disregard for her opponents' wellbeings make her quite dangerous.
Striking (Defense): 9/10
Húxiān's striking defense is quite good, albeit often unorthodox. She frequently utilizes a hands down, no guard style. Because Húxiān rarely uses a traditional guard, she relies on swift footwork and matrix-like head movement to keep herself safe. Should those fail her, Húxiān's strong chin serves as a solid last line of defense.
However, Húxiān is no idiot: she realizes that relying almost exclusively on head movement and footwork is extremely risky. Although the danger does not bother her on an emotional level, her intellectual side allows her to weigh risks and adjust her behavior accordingly. Thus, when it is warranted, she can supplement her hands down, no guard style with strategic uses of a guard—and, somewhat surprisingly given her normally near-exclusively evasive defense, Húxiān is quite good at blocking.
Grappling (Offense): 8.75/10
Húxiān is quite capable on the ground. Although she is more than happy to lay down heavy ground-and-pound, she enjoys breaking her opponents' bodies with submissions the most. While she is not necessarily a submission artist, Húxiān is nonetheless quite skilled with submissions. Notably, Húxiān's leg lock game is quite high level, much to the dismay of ACLs everywhere.
Grappling (Defense): 8.5/10
Because of her footwork and very good takedown defense, Húxiān can usually keep the fight standing should she desire. However, if she gets taken down, Húxiān's skills on the ground are more than enough to keep her safe against most opponents.

    Moves and Combinations:
Moves
Serpent's Sway (Sway back)
Description:
Húxiān leans back to avoid strikes in an unexpected manner. However, this move can be risky as it exposes her hips, potentially leaving her open for a takedown.

Image
Serpent's Elusion (Head movement)
Description:
Húxiān uses slick head movement and footwork to evade strikes. This is primarily used as a defensive tool, but it can also serve to frustrate her opponents.

Image

Image
Explanation: White trunks slips to his right to evade the jab. Then, he steps his left foot back while slipping to the left, evading the cross and putting him in a southpaw stance.

Image
Serpent's Trickery (Switch-hitting)
Description:
Húxiān uses switch-hitting to perform unorthodox movements and attacks. This can catch opponents off-guard and gives her additional movement options. (Switch-hitting refers to the ability to fight from both stances, orthodox and southpaw, and/or switch between them on the fly.)

Image
Explanation: Blue trunks throws a left cross from a southpaw stance while stepping forwards at an angle. This puts him in an orthodox stance relative to his opponent. Then, blue trunks throws a right cross (?) from an orthodox stance. Thus, blue trunks was able to throw two power shots in a row using stance switching, something that would take more time otherwise.

Image
Explanation: Black trunks switches from orthodox to southpaw while throwing a right hook. The shifting of stances also allowed black trunks to dodge his opponent's rear teep as black trunks threw the hook.

Image
Explanation: White trunks slips to his right to evade the jab. Then, he steps his left foot back while slipping to the left, evading the cross and putting him in a southpaw stance.

Image
Serpent's Sweep (sway back in response to head kick + use leg to sweep opponent's supporting leg)

inside heel hook
oblique kick
twister submission

Death's Scythe - A spinning heel/spinning hook kick.

Fiend's Gambit - A rolling thunder kick.

Devil's Lance - A stabbing teep kick to either the head or body.

Devil's Deceit - A question mark kick (feint the Devil's Lance, whip the kick up top to the head).
Combinations
Legend:
  • 1 - Jab
  • 2 - Cross
  • 3 - Lead hook
  • 4 - Rear hook
  • 5 - Lead uppercut
  • 6 - Rear uppercut
  • b - Indicates that strike is to the body

Combinations:
  • 1 → lean/step/sway back → 1 → 2
  • Et cetera
Finishing Moves
Executioner's Axe - Húxiān puts her opponent in the corner so that they are facing the turnbuckle with their arms draped over the top ropes. Then, Húxiān performs an axe kick right to the back of the head/base of the skull.

Demon's Fury - Húxiān gets her opponent into an omoplata. Then, using the arm that isn't wrapped around the waist, Húxiān unleashes a barrage of hammer fists to the back of the head/base of the skull.

Demon's Rending - An inside heel hook taken to the extreme. Húxiān locks in an inside heel hook and mercilessly cranks the hold, refusing to stop even after ligaments have been torn.

    Additional Information:
  • Húxiān has trained in martial arts for almost her entire life.
  • Húxiān is ambidextrous and can fight from both stances (orthodox and southpaw) equally well.
  • Húxiān is very acrobatic due to a combination of natural aptitude and some gymnastics training.
  • Húxiān seldom feels fear and can keep a clear head even while in tense situations.

Past/History
Spoiler
As the eldest child of the Xiāo (萧) family, Huān Xiāo (萧欢) was expected to one day lead her clan. However, this eventuality never materialized. From a young age, Huān was a black sheep among her family: she was taciturn, aloof, and did not seem to care about others—not even those of her own family. Any attempts to mold her into a proper heiress failed miserably as Huān was dead-set on living life as she pleased. Realizing that Huān would never be a willing heiress to the Xiāo family, Huān's parents decided to name Huān's younger sister Huì Xiāo (萧慧) as successor.
Normally, birthright or not, all Xiāo children were groomed to take on leadership roles in the clan. However, Huān showed no interest in that either—she was simply too independent, unwilling to be fettered by the expectations of others. Realizing that Huān was unwilling to take a leadership role in the clan, the Xiāo family stopped training her to go down that path. This afforded Huān a lot more freedom: provided that she kept up with her studies, Huān was free to explore various interests—and the family, with its vast resources, would support Huān in her endeavors.
Huān naturally gravitated towards violence and destruction. Early on, she developed an interest martial arts and weapons, which prompted her family to get her the best teachers that they could find. Huān was extremely rough and violent during her training, caring very little for both her own safety and the safety of her teachers. Huān's teachers tried to curb her excessively violent tendencies, but to no avail. It was not until her family threatened to cut off her training that Huān finally began to show some restraint.
As Huān became older, her interests became more extreme. She gained an interest in guns and explosives. Her family did the best it could to allow Huān to explore these interests, without allowing her to become a danger to the family or society. Nonetheless, when Huān was sixteen, she managed to improvise a pipe bomb and managed to blow up a shed on the family estate. This led to Huān's activities being restricted.
Huān resented these restrictions. By the time she was eighteen, Huān decided to move away. Having been enamored with the Chinese triads, which the Xiāo family had connections to, Huān joined the Sun Jīnlóng (新金龍) triad, which had connections to the Xiāo family. It was during that time that she became adept in violence. She also became very skilled at making bombs, something that was very useful to the triads.
Huān eventually got romantically involved with the boss of the Sun Jīnlóng triad, a man named Jǐ Chàng (己暢). The triad boss, however, was already married. Huān got pregnant and later gave birth to a child, Huā Xiāo (萧花). Shortly thereafter, Huān was killed during a triad-related skirmish.
Brainstorming Notes
Hmm... it could be interesting to have that theme, but my idea for Méi Xiāo and Huā Xiāo's (Húxiān's) backstory has them relatively removed from their family. So it's very unlikely that such themes would come up. Neither one of them would ever publicly invoke their family's name

Considering Húxiān's backstory (which I have in my head but have yet to write), there probably isn't much ammo. Húxiān does not publicly associate herself with her mother's side of the family, and her mother was somewhat of a black sheep in her family. So Húxiān is somewhat far removed from the operations of the family (although she still maintains a good relationship with members of the Xiāo family, particularly Méi; the family puts an emphasis on familial bonds, which is why Húxiān isn't a piece of crap to Méi)

In terms of business, Húxiān would be more closely associated with her father's side of the family (her father was a triad boss; he was originally from some other part of China that isn't Hong Kong, but later moved to Hong Kong and got involved with the triads). But after Húxiān's father's hedonistic ways caught up to him, that triad imploded, leading to Húxiān taking a new name and fleeing to Japan

(For context, Húxiān's father's hedonism and the Xiāo family's ties to organized crime resulted in Húxiān, an illegitimate child. Húxiān's stepmother abhorred Húxiān, which somehow led to Húxiān being sent to live with the Xiāo family at some point [still haven't figured out the details on that though])

Accomplishments in LAW
  • None so far

Relationships
  • None yet

Quick Facts
  • ...
Secret
  • Húxiān is fluent in three languages (Mandarin, Cantonese, and English), and proficient in one other language (Japanese)
    • Her proficiencies in terms of CEFR levels are:
      • Mandarin (C2), Cantonese (C2), English (C2), Japanese (C1)
Meta Facts
  • Húxiān's fighting style is based on a combination of D*m*n*ck Cr*z, L*rds*l*, and to a comparatively lesser extent, TJ D*ll*sh*w.
  • I originally wrote Húxiān as almost always using a hands low, no guard style. However, after hearing about the Cr*z versus V*r* fight, I figured that relying almost exclusively on footwork and head movement is too risky. Thus, I specified that Húxiān can also use blocking as well when necessary.
  • The names are censored because I don't want this page popping up in Google searches for those people (something that is admittedly unlikely), and it feels weird mentioning real people by name on this site. An odd little idiosyncrasy of mine, I suppose.

Personality
While generally maintaining the appearance of a proper lady outside of the ring, Húxiān is actually anything but: she revels in inflicting pain and suffering on others.  She loves to control people, break their spirit, and humiliate them (especially if it is in a sexual manner).  Additionally, she loves getting creative with her tortures, often brainstorming new ways to torture people.  Húxiān is a true sadist through and through. Moreover, Húxiān never feels guilt over her actions---the closest she comes to feeling "guilt" is when her actions cause problems for her.

During her match with Rise Kujikawa, Húxiān's style of sadism began to change. Now, in addition to her regular sadism, Húxiān often tries to pick at specific weaknesses and insecurities her opponents may have. To facilitate this, Húxiān will often research her opponents beforehand.

It should be noted that despite Húxiān occasionally displaying rather uncouth behavior, Húxiān actually has a very good head on her shoulders. If she needs a particular skill to execute one of her plans, she will learn enough of that skill to accomplish what she wants to get done.
Past/History
Born to rich Chinese parents, Húxiān grew up in luxury.  Growing up, she and her sister never wanted for anything and always had loyal servants to take care of them.  Unfortunately for Húxiān, her parents paid more attention to her older sister, often leaving Húxiān in the care of the family servants.  While Húxiān was mostly well-behaved for the first five years of her life, starting at age five, Húxiān used her position to torment her family's servants,  She started off by making ridiculous requests to her servants and then yelling at them when they would inevitably fail.  Soon, this escalated into physical abuse with Húxiān often striking her servants for no reason.  Unfortunately for the servants, the most they could do was grin and bear it.  While Húxiān's parents were aware of this behavior, they did nothing to stop it.  As long as Húxiān acted like a proper lady in public, it did not matter to them how Húxiān treated the family servants.  All throughout Húxiān's childhood, she would maintain this outwards facade.

As Húxiān grew up, she was often overshadowed and ignored in favor of her older sister.  Desperate to distinguish herself, Húxiān took up martial arts at a young age. While Húxiān initially trained in a lot of martial arts, she quickly veered away from martial arts that would not be of practical use in a fight. She quickly gravitated towards Sanda (i.e. "Chinese kickboxing") and primarily focused on that. However, Húxiān also did a lot of cross-training in other martial arts such as Muay Thai, boxing, kickboxing, Taekwondo, capoeira (only a little bit though), wrestling, and jiu-jitsu. Additionally, Húxiān also trained with various weapons such as swords, spears, and guns.

Although Húxiān had some humbling experiences at first, Húxiān soon began to excel at martial arts.  Eventually, martial arts training became a way for Húxiān to beat on people---in the rare events that she had a worthy opponent, Húxiān would use unorthodox and/or dirty tactics to win. Due to her skill and brutality, she was often brought in as a training partner for amateur, professional, and underground fighters. In particular, Húxiān was usually brought in to help prepare fighters for brutal and/or unorthodox opponents.

In addition to her martial arts training, Húxiān also kept up her hobby of abusing the family servants. As Húxiān got older, her torment of her the servants started to become more degrading---eventually, Húxiān even began to force her servants to perform sexual acts in front of her and in public. However, Húxiān's parents turned a blind eye to this behavior as Húxiān never did anything that risked incriminating the family.

Unfortunately for Húxiān, her family's fortunes would change when Húxiān was eighteen.  Part of the reason why Húxiān's family was rich was because they had allied themselves with prominent Chinese politicians.  When those politicians lost power, Húxiān and her family suddenly had a target on their backs.  Because of this, Húxiān and her family took what cash they still had and fled to Australia.  While in Australia, the family lived a middle-class lifestyle, something that they were not used to.  While Húxiān's parents and older sister adapted well, Húxiān did not: Húxiān wanted her old lifestyle back.

In an attempt to get money to support her lavish spending habits, Húxiān joined a local gang where she quickly rose to the top.  She used this gang as a way to regain her old lifestyle: the gang provided her both money and underlings to abuse.  Eventually, Húxiān's parents disowned her and the gang ousted Húxiān.  After being literally chased out of the country, Húxiān fled to Japan to join LAW.  Having heard of the so-called "hentai matches" and "humiliation matches", Húxiān wished to take part in them as a way to continue dominating and abusing people.

Fun Facts
  • Húxiān looks up to her older sister and the two are still in contact
