Sammy was waiting backstage, bouncing on the balls of her feet, cracking her neck and stretching her arms out as she heard the music of Vrtira's play as the goliath walked out to the ring. This was it. This. Was. IT. She had trained for years, taken up her father's mask and nickname, worked her ass off for so long... and what was going to determine if any of that mattered, was what she did in this ring. Was she going to leave the fans with a strong impression, the joy of a new and fresh competitor on the scene? Or... would she be known as some talent plucked off the street to feed to one of the most dangerous women in the company?
For most, a loss against Vrtira Savage wouldn't hurt. Or, well, it wouldn't be that bad on their reputation. Because yes, it would hurt a LOT. But one was almost expected to lose when they faced her. For them, they'd lick their wounds and move on, especially as a rookie, a newcomer. But for Sammy Boom Brooke? She wasn't accepting anything less than a
win. So when her theme music hit, Sammy ran through the curtains and drank in the atmosphere. There were some cheers for her, a fresh new face on the roster. But there wasn't much else. Most didn't know her, and even with her impressive physique, her opponent still towered over her.
Practically bouncing her way down to the ring, Sammy leapt up onto the apron, snagging the top rope and looking into the ring, right at the hulking woman. And she stood, bouncing on her toes and dragging her tongue over her teeth, both excited and feeling a pit in her stomach for what the muscle of Khaos Ring could do to her, or in this current moment, SAY to her, when seeing that mic. What
was she going to say?
The 2nd generation wrestler was intent on finding out, as she jumped over the top rope and skidded her way until she was just a few feet away from the imposing figure. And feeling the crowd's anticipation themselves, the packed energy waiting to come out, it was almost... infectious. And damn, even if she was going to get crushed, she was going to wear a smile on her face, staring right at Savage and cracking her knuckles.
