Sheila Chihara [D] vs. Ashley Lucas

It came as a surprise to pretty much everyone that Sheila was able to get back up after a piledriver from Ashley at full force. Even the referee looked on aghast. But for Sheila, it was just another day. Sitting up on the mat, while she was a little bit shaken and her vision swirled about her, Sheila didn't show many signs of being any worse for wear. She rubbed at her temple, but soon after she broke into a smile, just as ready as ever!

"Uhh...I guess it is!" she joked in response to Ashley's surprise, and she giggled both at her own humor and at the sounds that had come out of the blonde. But either way, after the initial shock wore off, Ashley wasted no time in getting her head back into the game! She lifted Sheila back up, taking the Australian girl back onto her feet. Gritting her teeth, Sheila too prepared herself for battle, and she reached up to latch onto her opponent, stabilizing herself by throwing her arms around Ashley's waist. She took a knee into her gut, and she buckled forward with a groan, but clinging onto Ashley she held on tight, and she wouldn't let herself lose her footing. Instead, she tried to hoist Ashley higher, before she would swing her over her shoulders and go to throw her head into the mat with a German suplex! "Your turn now!~" she teased.

Ashley had been pretty shocked at Sheila's extremely sudden recovery, enough so that she had let out a pretty embarrassing girly scream, but that shock was not enough to stop her for long. Ashley hauled Sheila up to her feet and rammed her abs with a knee strike, forcing the girl to lean forward. Ashley had intended to loosen her dark-haired adversary up to leave her vulnerable for a follow up attack, but Sheila would prove once again how tough she was by enduring the attack and lifting Ashley overhead, driving the blonde down onto the mat with a German Suplex "Aaaaaaaah!!!!"

Ashley's body crumpled for a moment, her legs bent to the point where her feet were by her head, before she straightened out and fell to the side. With a grunt she sat up and rubbed her head, wincing in pain "Ugh..." She would start to make her to her her feet though she was far from energetic as she did so, that suplex had clearly done a number on her.

Sheila couldn't deny that Ashley's blows hurt. Being hit square in the stomach seldom did anyone any favors, and taking it from such a hard-hitter only made matters worse. She bent forward, gasping and clenching her teeth. But Sheila was willing to fight through that pain when she saw an advantage, and here, she felt she had a chance! Noticing she was now at the level of Ashley's waist, Sheila wrapped her arms around her foe, lifting her up in order to throw her back over her shoulder, her head on a collision course with the mat! And, with the sound of a thud and the mat shaking below her, she knew it had worked!

Letting Ashley go soon after, Sheila dropped to her knees, taking in a few heavy pants. The soreness was starting to catch up to her, and she rubbed her head with one hand and her stomach with the other. But she was still back to her senses in no time, realizing she had to act before Ashley could!

Pushing herself back to her feet, Sheila ran across toward the ropes, looking to climb up onto them. With Ashley still getting up, Sheila felt she had the time to set up another high-flying move, and hopefully to do it right this time. The blonde girl would soon be back on her feet, but by that point, Sheila would already be airborne - as she hurled herself toward Ashley, looking to slam into her and take her off her feet with a flying crossbody!

After getting her head slammed onto the mat from Sheila's German suplex Ashley was pretty dazed, she could practically hear cartoon birds floating around her head from how dizzy she was. That's why she was quite slow to make it to her feet, and quite slow to notice where Sheila had gone. After shaking her head to clear the fog from her mind Ashley looked up and saw Sheila, having already taken flight. Normally Ashley would counter a move like this by catching her and then slamming her down, but that would require her to actually have time to react, which right now she did not have.

With a grunt Sheila's flying body would hit Ashley and take her down to the mat with her crossbody, making Ashley cry out in pain as she hit the mat and Sheila's body impacted against hers. Ashley groaned slightly underneath Sheila's body on the mat, she didn't feel all that great after getting hit by the dark haired girl's move. Right now Sheila had the advantage.

In terms of recovery, Ashley was lagging behind. She was still trying to shake off the fatigue from being dropped onto her head, and it would take her a moment to collect herself enough to get back up. Sheila, on the contrary, was still going strong! Never one to tire easily, the Australian was back on her feet, running toward the ropes and hopping up on them to get some altitude before she sprung herself back at Ashley. Spreading her body wide, she readied a flying crossbody - and it was just in time, too, as Ashley had gotten back to her feet a moment before Sheila crashed into her, taking them both to the mat!

A grin came to Sheila's face, feeling Ashley hit the ground beneath her as she came to rest on top. Wanting to see how responsive Ashley would be after this, she held the position, pressing down on one of the blonde's shoulders with her knee as she applied pressure to the other with her hand, assuming a crossbody pin!

"One!" the ref counted. Sheila's smile grew wider with anticipation. Could she win her first match?

Ashley grunted with discomfort underneath Sheila, feeling the woman's weight pressing down on her as she laid on Ashley's torso. She wasn't content to just use Ashley as a pillow though, pushing down on the blonde's shoulders to go for a pin. Could she win her first match? "No!" Ashley would yell as if answering that question before pushing up on Sheila's body while trying to sit up, trying to throw her off just before the second count. Assuming she was successful Ashley would now be sitting up with Sheila on the ground in front of her.

Ashley would lean over and try to grab Sheila around the head, hoping to turn her around so that her head was pointed towards Ashley's body. If she was able to she would pull Sheila's head between her legs and attempted to wrap them around her head to lock in a headscissors. Last time Ashley had put Sheila in a submission hold it had worked pretty well and she found it very difficult to get out, so putting her in another seemed like a good strategy to Ashley.

Sheila had thrown herself from the ropes and into her opponent, using the momentum of her fall to pin her to the mat. It seemed only logical that she would hold the position, pressing down more on Ashley's shoulders to see if it would be enough to win the match. But not so - Ashley called out with defiance as she pushed herself up from the mat, the force with which she rose pushing Sheila off of her!

"Gah-!" she yelped, going tumbling off of Ashley and flopping onto her stomach. Gritting her teeth, Sheila got her hands and knees under her and began to rise, but she wouldn't get far, as Ashley reached back out and grabbed her around the head! Groaning under her breath, Sheila was steered toward Ashley. She tried to twist her body back and forth, tossing and turning to try and shake the blonde off her, but she couldn't prevent Ashley from locking her legs into place around her head, clamping down hard! A shudder went through Sheila's body, and she doubled over, her groans muffled into Ashley's thighs. She tried to reach up and slap at her legs a few times in the hopes of loosening her grasp. If that didn't work, she would next try to get her hands in between Ashley's legs to pry them apart, but either way, Sheila was in a tricky situation!

As Ashley wrapped Sheila's head in-between her legs and locked in a headscissors on the girl Sheila would start slapping Ashley's legs to try and get her to let go. But unless her plan was to applaud Ashley on her performance with the clapping sound her slaps made then she would be disappointed, at most her slaps caused the blonde discomfort rather than any real pain. What would get results though was when the girl started to pry Ashley's thighs open with her hands, slowly but surely Ashley's hold was being loosened.

Rather than try her hardest to keep the hold going Ashley would instead let Sheila free herself, but while her head was still down there Ashley would raise her arm in the air and bring a hard elbow aimed down at Sheila's head. If this hit then it would hopefully leave the girl stunned long enough for Ashley climb up to her feet and drag her along, wrapping her head underneath Ashley's arm to lock in a front facelock. If she was able to do this with nothing stopping her then she would grab Sheila by her attire and would attempt to heave her up over her head, holding her upside down in the air for a few seconds before falling backwards and attempting to slam Sheila onto the mat back first in a Vertical Suplex.

With the pressure mounting around her head, causing her temples to ache and her breaths to meet more resistance, Sheila's survival instincts kicked in, and she targeted the legs wrapped around her head in the hopes of getting her opponent to break the crushing embrace. She was fighting an uphill battle, though - her strength was fading as the will to fight was being choked out of her, and there was only so much she could do from the position she was in. What did work, however, was when Sheila elected to grab for Ashley's legs instead, getting her hands on the inside of her thighs and pushing. Little by little, she was able to loosen the vise-like grip on her head!

A smile came to Sheila's face as she took in a breath, feeling the relief come over her as Ashley let her go. But Sheila's freedom was short-lived, as Ashley was quick to come back in with an elbow stabbing down through the air and straight into the back of her skull! As a crack rang out, Sheila let out a yelp, buckling forward and grabbing at the back of her head. That left her stunned long enough for Ashley to get back up, bringing Sheila along with her - and then, grabbing onto the leg hole of her leotard for extra support, she hoisted her up off the ground and into the air, then turned her to hang upside-down!

Feeling all the blood rush to her head, Sheila's eyes widened and her jaw dropped. She shuddered, anticipating the impact that was to come. But, still winded from both the headscissor and the elbow to her head, she could do little to stop herself - and, with a scream, she went flying back through the air as she and Ashley plummeted to the ground, hitting the mat with a thud that sent her legs kicking up in the air before she settled into lying out flat!

Ashley let out a cry of exertion as she lifted Sheila up and over her head, leaving the smaller girl suspended in the air for a few moments. Ashley took a second to take a breather before falling back and slamming Sheila on the mat, leaving the girl lying flat. Big throws like that were pretty tiring for Ashley to perform, but the amount of damage Sheila had taken from that suplex made it worth the effort. While looking down at Sheila Ashley had half a mind to just pin her then, but it had been too soon since Ashley had last attempted a pin and she really didn't think it was going to work. So instead she'd just have to start weakening Sheila further.

Ashley would climb up to her feet and attempt to yank Sheila up with her, hoping to leave the dark haired girl bending down in front of her. Hoping that the damage she had sustained so far would be enough to stop Sheila from properly resisting Ashley would bend over and wrap her arms around Sheila's waist. If she was able to do this she would let out a grunt of exertion as she would attempt to lift Sheila up by her waist, flipping her torso up to a powerbomb position before falling down to a sitting position to attempt to drive her back and shoulders onto the mat and deliver her Studley Bomber; a Gutwrench Powerbomb!
