North vs. South: Nia Stone (D) vs. Rumi Usagiyama

Nia uncrossed her arm and tried to brace for whatever her opponent was going to throw at her, it was a running knee to the gut, Nia's abs absorbed some of the blow, but, it was still enough to make Nia double over, "I...probably deserved that..." Nia commented, seeing as her hubris let Rumi have the advantage for the time being...

Rumi ran up to her heavyweight opponent and delivered her Rabbit Knee. To much success as she doubled over her opponent. Not standing so tall now are ya? Rumi would say as she stood to the side of Nia. Though that was not all she would do. Showing off her flexibility, Rumi raise her leg straight up into the air whilst grabbing Nia’s hair. Tell me how the mat taste Rumi said as she tries to bring her leg crashing down on Nia’s head delivering LUNA FALL

Nia didn't have a lot of time to think as she soon found herself being plunged to the mat in some sort of scissors kick. Nia grunted as she hit the mat with a thud, it hurt, but, she was more dazed than anything. Nia smiled, this was why she joined LAW in the first place: to face opponents as tough as Rumi. Still, as tough as her opponent was, she was just as tough. She slowly got up, and attempted a lariat, hoping to match Rumi blow for blow.

Rumi landed Luna Fall perfectly and yet Nia is still able to get up from that. Thats what I like to see, looks like I’m gonna need more to put you down then Rumi said as she huffed. Nia came back up slowly and went for a lariat aiming to land on Rumi. Luckily for Rumi speed is on her side and was able to duck under the Lariat. Now with herself somewhat behind Nia she would attempt an enziguri to the back of Nia’s head

Nia admitted her opponent was quick, and historically through the indys, Nia didn't fare to well with quicker opponents. The enziguri hit right on the money, and Nia fell like a ton of bricks. This match wasn't over by a long shot, but, for the time being it seemed the match was getting away from her...

With Nia down Rumi looked to push her advantage even further. Stay right there for me will ya? Rumi said as she ran along to the corner of the ring and climbing the ropes. Once on the top ropes Rumi would play to the audience’s cheers. After enough showmanship Rumi would look back at Nia who’s in the ground and jump off the top rope doing a backflip hopefully landing ECLIPSE

Rumi probably should have kept her mouth shut, as if she wouldn't have moved if she hadn't said anything she would have just laid there to catch her breath. But since Rumi had to say something, Nia sat up, not unlike a certain dead man, and rolled out of the way, watching Rumi crash and burn...

Keeping her mouth shut is something Rumi couldn’t do. Though it would help her in more than one occasion. Already jumping hoping to land on Nia. Though thanks to her antics Nia was ready for Rumi. By ready she means letting Rumi crash and burn. Rolling out of the way, Rumi’s eyes widened when she noticed Nia moved. But she already jumped so there was no stopping it. Upon landing Rumi made a loud thud landing on her front side. GAH Rumi let out as she rolled around holding herself in pain.

"They used to call me the World's Strongest Mermaid, and you're about to see why" Nia exclaimed, crawling toward Rumi and locking her into a body scissors. She was paid a couple of times by men to lock them into this hold, which always struck Nia as odd, but, too each their own. Nia wondered if Rumi was enjoying it as much as those men did...

What does that have to do with anything Rumi said holding herself. Not long before she was locked into a body scissor.AHH... Rumi screamed as she was squeezed. Thinking back on the mermaid comment. It made Rumi think that it doesn't apply here. Not that it was important. Rumi placed both her arms on the opposite sides of Nia's legs and attempted to push them apart. Allowing herself to escape.
