Trials and Tribulations- Agatha vs Maria!

*With a sliver of energy still propelling her forward, Agatha felt herself jerked upwards by the aggressive Maria, coaxing out her second wind in the process.* "Mmhh..you're tough...but I have not been bested yet!" *With a reverberating gusto, the vehement valkyrie dashed forward, only to slip behind her foe and simultaneously wrap her arms around the luchadora's slender waist. She was preparing for something massive, and in a heartbeat, somehow managed to turn the tide of the entire fight with a solitary maneuver!*

"May the gods guide me!" *Hoisting the woman skyward, Agatha subsequently extended her lone knee forward before immediately dropping Maria across it, attempting to snap her spine like a fragile twig with a monstrous backbreaker!*

Maria was ready to meet Agatha on her way, jumping up for a nasty knee to the forehead....when suddenly the Scandinavian seemed to vanish into thin air!! Maria's head turned to the right, following the blur that seemed to stay in the corner of her vision, when strong forearms wrapped around her waist! The air slipped out of her lungs in a quick puff when her body was pulled against Agatha, before a mighty heave lifted her up into the air. She was expecting some form of suplex...and while painful she could no doubt recover.

Oh how wrong she was, as her spine was slammed against Agatha's knee, and her world went white as she let out a bloodcurdling scream. Not a warriors cry, but one of pure agony as her back seemed to give out, limbs falling to brush against the smooth canvas of the ring. Spectators rose to their feet, worried that perhaps they had borne witness to another career ending injury!!!

*As the anguished shriek filled the arena, Agatha's bloodlust was far from sated as she promptly rolled her adversary off of her knee and onto the arena flooring. While definitely a painful maneuver, the veteran gladiator knew Maria had enough left in the tank to break a pinfall attempt. This belief of Agatha's convinced her to continue her attack, slipping her arms underneath Maria's for a full nelson!*

"I admire your tenacity, but resiliency alone shall not be enough to overcome me!" *The boisterous valkyrie declared, attempting to apply her submission while hoisting her prey upwards in preparation for her next move.*

Maria's hands balled into fists, her breath coming out in pained hisses between clenched teeth. Her spine felt like it was being pulled apart piece by piece, and now Agatha was busy locking in a brutal full nelson hold, wrenching her arms up and keeping her well and truly trapped. Maria thrashed and bucked, fists clenching and relaxing, looking for any avenue to escape!!!

*Unable to retain her grasp upon Maria for too long due to her constant flailing, Agatha opted for a much simpler option of tossing the spunky luchador backwards for a massive German suplex, attempting to send a statement early on to establish her dominance!* "In the name of Odin, you shall waver before my might!"

*With a brutal* "THUMP!" *That sent a shockwave of anguish through Maria's backside. As the blonde arched her shoulders and balanced her feet against the mat, she could hear the referee begin his count, starting with* "ONE!"

Maria had hoped she would be able to slip free of Agatha's control, but the best she could do was simply not enough to earn her freedom. Arms gripped hard around her waist, locking her in and flinging her back in a nasty german suplex!!! The impact rattled the ring, folding Maria in half and knocking the air clean out of her lungs!

Agatha even kept the move locked in to a bridged position, looking to secure an early win!!! By the time the ref had counted to two, Maria was just coming around, "TWO......."

With a mighty surge of energy, Maria kicked out with her legs, moving her body just enough so her shoulder could lift off the canvas to break the count! The veteran tumbled to the side, masked cheek pressed into the canvas as she struggled to regain her bearings.

*Devoting a large portion of her expendable energy to trapping Maria against the mat, The Voluptuous Valkyrie was relatively stunned when she was met with enough vigor to erupt from her pin!*

"Huh?!" *Astonished at her tenacity, Agatha rolled to her side to try and collect herself, peeved that her efforts had all been in vain. However, despite this she clung to the ropes to try and recuperate for as long as her adversary would allow her to.*

Maria slumped on her back, chest heaving as she stared up at the lights. The sheer power that Agatha brought to the table was unlike any that she had seen in a long time. Easily within her time in LAW. Everything seemed to hurt. Her spine, her ribs. Everything seemed to throb with a dull ache, making every movement wince inducing. But she was far from finished, as was apparent by the kick out. Growling, she dragged herself to her feet, stumbling after Agatha to bring her boot down onto her side with a nasty set of stomps!!!

*Too preoccupied with her own welfare to worry about what Maria was busying herself with, it wouldn't take long before the voluptuous valkyrie would regret her decision, as the furious female would rain down a torrential downpour of merciless stomps against her body and skull, causing her to throw her arms upwards to try and defend herself!*

"Nggrrhh! Y..you shall regret this!" *Agatha screamed out, trying to twist and turn her head from side to side to avoid receiving an unwanted boot to her maw!*

After taking her frustrations (Both inward at herself and outward at her opponent) out on Agatha, the luchadora took a step beck to clear her head. Her silver eyes took a look around, the gears turning in her head to put some more hurt on the muscular powerhouse. At this point she couldn't afford to sit back and do nothing.

Scaling the turnbuckles lining the corner ring post, Maria perched herself up, with a clear line of sight on Agatha. The crowd stood, expecting a frog splash......but instead Maria pulled yet another surprise! The luchadora was WALKING the tightrope, her feet trailing along the top cable with practiced grace! Halfway across, she turned to the audience, and with a flash of her silver eyes, flipped back to land boot first right on Agatha's chest!
