Sheila Chihara [D] vs. Ashley Lucas

Sheila knew she had the momentum. She was keen on holding onto that as long as she could, and she was keeping the heat on Ashley as she sprung from the ropes, looking to come crashing down into her from on high. It was Sheila's first high-flying move on the main roster, a thought that made her smile wider just thinking about it. Coming sailing through the air with the sound of a battle cry, Sheila anticipated the collision of her body into the blonde's, and how she would be flattened by it. If all went well, she was really going to make a splash!

The operative word, of course, being "if."

Sheila was quickly shown the downside of that plan when Ashley rolled out of the way. She didn't realize she had escaped until the moment her tailbone came down hard against the canvas, but when that moment came, Sheila knew it. "Y-YOWW!" she yelped, shuddering from the impact and rubbing at her lower back to try and dull the sensation.

Soon, though, the arm she was using to do that rubbing was pulled away from her, as Ashley was quick to take control! The dark-haired girl looked over with wide eyes as Ashley pulled her arm between her legs, then clamped down as she dropped back, twisting Sheila's arm in the process as she dragged her down. Sheila's cries of pain grew even louder now against a new threat, and she kicked her legs to try and shake it off as she jerked herself back and forth. "Ow! OW! Get off-! Ow!"

The sight of Sheila crashing and burning after Ashley avoided her high flying attack and caused her to smack against the mat almost made the blonde wince, it brought to mind times when Ashley herself had messed up similar moves so Ashley could empathise with the rookie. But Ashley's empathy wouldn't stop her from capitalising on Sheila's pain, grabbing her by the arm and locking in a painful armbar. Sheila let Ashley know that it was working as intended by screaming in pain and yelling at her to get off, Ashley grunted in effort as she fought to keep her hold in place before speaking "No can do! This is what it's like in the big leagues, rookie!"

For better or worse Sheila would have to break free on her own, just because Sheila was a rookie didn't mean that Ashley was going to hold back on her, she was treating Sheila as if she was any other opponent. Though Ashley could feel her hold somewhat loosening she felt like there was no danger of Sheila breaking free just yet "If you really want me to stop you can tap out!"

It was barely more than a few seconds ago that Sheila was flying through the air, poised to land on her opponent and surely flatten her. But a lot could change in that short a time, as Sheila was now experiencing! In the blink of an eye, her fortunes had reversed - she had come down hard, knocking the wind out of her sails, and in the process made herself vulnerable. Something Ashley was quick to demonstrate, as she locked down an armbar!

Sheila groaned and winced, holding back a squeal of pain as she felt her shoulder being wrenched further and further out of place. Her back arched up from the canvas as she recoiled from the pain going down her arm. No matter how much she begged for mercy, Ashley wouldn't let go. Sheila's only hopes of getting her to release it were to tap out, and that wasn't an option to the Australian girl!

"Like...I'm ever gonna do that-!" Sheila hissed through gasps. Stubbornly defying Ashley's attempts to control her, Sheila began to writhe back and forth with what little space she had to manuever, trying to shake Ashley off. Against the sort of pressure containing her, it would use up a lot of her stamina in the process, but Sheila was perhaps someone with more determination than smarts. At the same time, she grabbed aimlessly around with her free hand, attempting to get a hold on Ashley's leg as it lay across her chest to push the blonde away; hopefully that would at least lighten the load she was being forced to bear!

Though Ashley was wrenching mercilessly on Sheila's arm with no end in sight she didn't harbour any ill will towards the dark haired rookie, but if Sheilah couldn't handle this then she wasn't cut out to be a member of LAW, and if that was the case then it would be best if she found out this way rather than at the hands of one of LAW's many cruel heels. Though perhaps Ashley was underestimating Sheila, as the lighter girl would stubbornly refuse to tap out and start writhing around in her hold while trying to push her leg away. Ashley grit her teeth in effort as she tried to keep Shelia under control, though after a few seconds she would apparently decide that it wasn't worth the effort anymore and uncrossed her legs so that they no longer constricted Sheila's arm, though she still kept a hold of the girls wrist.

Ashley would climb up to her feet while attempting to drag Sheila up with her, then when she got a solid stance she would try and yank on the arm while twisting her body to the side, hoping to toss Sheila over her body and down to the mat with an arm drag "Hah!"

Ashley's armbar was a tight one indeed, and it was testing Sheila's limits. But she was a stubborn and strong-headed girl, and she refused to give in that easily. Even if many of her contemporaries might have decided to call it quits after a while, Sheila had no such thing on her mind! Clenching her teeth to try and bear through the pain, she reached out with her free arm, using it to grab and push at whatever she could find. It took a few seconds of effort, and Sheila had to resist the strain of the armbar the whole way through, causing the veins in her neck to bulge. But, eventually, Ashley let her go!

Falling to her back, Sheila let out a sigh of relief as she felt the tension release on her shoulder. Not perhaps realizing that Ashley had chosen to let her go, the Australian girl came away from this with perhaps too much confidence in her own strength, and she was quickly ready to get back in the game. She started to roll to her feet - only to realize a moment later that Ashley still had her arm! She suddenly rose to her feet before she was prepared to, and then, as Ashley jerked her arm back, Sheila was thrown over her shoulders!

"W-WHOOOAHH!!" Sheila went rolling over Ashley's back, only to land in a heap below. She crashed onto her side, leaving her shaken and dazed!

When Ashley released Shelia from her armbar the girl seemed to relax, seemingly thinking that Ashley had been forced to release her and would need a moment to rest. For that reason Ashley was pretty easily able to lift the girl up without resistance and throw her over her shoulders with an arm drag. Ashley wasn't done though, not by a long shot. She would attempt to grab the girl and pull her up to a standing position, then she would attempt to push Sheila's head between her thighs.

If Ashley was able to do that without resistance then she would lean forward and press her front against Sheila's back, this would be Sheila's last chance to stop Ashley before the blonde would try and pick her up by the waist to hold her upside down, after which she would jump and spike her head against the mat with a piledriver "Take this!"

Sheila had been shaken from the landing she'd taken, and she needed some time to recenter herself and get back in the game while the room stopped spinning. Unfortunately, Ashley wasn't going to offer her that. While she was still teetering on uneasy footing, staring off with glazed eyes, Sheila found herself rising higher, as Ashley pulled her up to her feet. "W-Whooooahh..!" she stammered, stumbling a bit as she tried to find her balance.

But she would find an anchor anyway in Ashley's legs - not that she had much choice about it, considering she was bent down and her head trapped between the blonde girl's thighs! Groaning, Sheila shook her head, trying to twist herself back and forth in the hopes of freeing herself. Her hands went to Ashley's thighs as they squeezed her head, and she tried to push at them, still to no avail. It was when Sheila felt her opponent leaning over on top of her that she realized what was about to happen, and her eyes widened in shock. But it still wasn't enough to save her from what happened next, as Ashley hoisted her up before she hopped off the ground, and brought her head down hard into the unforgiving canvas!

"Hey! HEY, I-GAAAAAHHH!!" Sheila screamed as she went plummeting through the air, her head landing with a thud. As Ashley released her, she slumped down, falling onto her side before landing staring face-up at the lights.

Ashley gave out a grunt of exertion as she lifted Sheila up to hang her upside down in preparation for the piledriver, supporting the girl's whole bodyweight wasn't an easy task but Ashley had lifted heavier foes, so Sheila wouldn't give her too much trouble. With a battle cry Ashley would jump up and spike Sheila's head against the mat, releasing her so that the girl would fall down to her side. Ashley would waste no time in dropping down so that she could lean on Sheila's torso and hook her leg, attempting to keep the girl down for a 3-count. Ashley felt a little bad ending the girls debut match so quickly, but Sheila shouldn't have let the blonde build up this kind of momentum if she didn't want this to happen.

The piledriver was a move that could knock out a wrestler then and there. If it didn't, it usually still did a good enough job of keeping them down for the count. Being dropped directly onto one's head scarcely did anyone any favors, after all. As Ashley released Sheila, it seemed as though this would be no exception. The dark-haired girl slumped onto her side before rolling to her back, with her arms laid out limply at her sides. Her chest rose and fell with slow and shallow breaths, but even as Ashley leaned against her and hooked her leg, she showed no signs of resistance.

"One! Two!" With the first counts landing, it seemed as though Ashley would enjoy a quick victory over the Young Lioness. The ref girl's hand raised a third time, preparing to deliver the decisive ruling - and then, Sheila's eyes fluttered open. As though she had never been hit on the head at all, the Australian quickly sat back up, assuming a confident grin!

"Was that s'posed to hurt?" she chirped. In truth, it did hurt. Sheila had been stunned for a few moments, and even now the throbbing in the back of her skull had yet to wear off fully. But all things considered, she had bounced back far quicker than anyone could anticipate. Sheila, after all, had a hard head, as Ashley had learned earlier, and it seemed to work well enough in her favor!

Ashley hooked Sheila's leg to lock in the pin, confident in her success. The girl's body was completely limp and she didn't even try and resist the pin, there was no way she was kicking out. That confidence was likely why Ashley was taken off guard when Sheila suddenly sat up, throwing Ashley off and leaving her rolling a few feet away "Eeeek!!!" In her shock the blonde had let out a surprisingly girly scream. Ashley got up to her knees and blinked in confusion "What the hell!?! Is your skull made of bedrock or something!?!"

Whatever Sheila said Ashley would climb up to her feet, apart from a red mark on her forehead that looked like it might bruise Ashley hadn't sustained too much damage yet, she still had the advantage. Ashley marched forward and would try to drag Sheila up to her feet if she hadn't already made her way up. Ashley would then try and soften Sheila up with a knee to the stomach, starting her assault with a simple move.
