Amy Henderson vs Vamp Suzumori - Raising the Stakes

Amy just barely managed to make it to her feet in time to send that kick into Vamp's side. She was even able to score a solid hit in the process! But all good things must come at a price, and the Japanese Vampire had no plans of letting Amy take things for free. A sharp kick nailed Amy right in the side of her gut. "GAH!"

She winced, but stayed on her feet. Every hit she took from this girl felt like an iron pole smacking her. But she knew she had to stay in this. Still on her feet, Amy went for a fully-powered uppercut to Vamp's head. Seeing as her opponent had no qualms with attacking the same place, the girl in blue felt she needed to keep herself on the same playing field. Without cheating, of course.

Right after hitting at Amy's body, Vamp was about to follow up with another strike, but she saw Amy attempting to deliver an uppercut, and she immediately move backwards, hopping on one foot before quickly regaining her footing. Now disengaging with her opponent, she then showed her opponent a taunting smirk, as if making fun of her.

"Hoho... are you having trouble hitting me? You may as well stay still so I can make you my sacrifice for tonight!" Instead of going at her opponent right away, Vamp would maintain her distance from her opponent, circling her as she began formulating a plan inside her head. At the same time, her eyes would remain on the blonde so that she could see what she would do next.

A swing and a miss! The uppercut came in, but Vamp managed to dodge cleanly and disengage! Frustrating, but Amy should have expected it, given the girl's prowess with fisticuffs. Amy pushed her frustration down and tried to come up with a counter plan.

She's faster than me, so I'll need to figure out a way to slow her down... and land some hits on her too. Those earlier kicks managed to land. How about I try some of that...

"Don't go and get too cocky now, Draculette. Nothing has been decided just yet!"

Amy closed the distance again, looking to for a forearm shot. But it would only be a feint, as Amy would instead pull back and send a sharp kick into the side of Vamp's right leg. If successful, the blonde hoped that it would leave a nice bruise, and possibly cause the girl to lose her balance and fall in the process!

Still sporting a cocky grin, showing her cute (fake) vampire fangs, Vamp watched her opponent as she prepared herself for her next attack. She could tell that Amy was going for a forearm smash, and she would prepare herself to defend herself against it. She was planning to counter the attack with an attack of her own in order to deal some damage on her opponent.

But it turned out that the forearm smash was nothing but a feint, as Amy then proceeded to hit her with a sharp kick to the side of her leg. "Aahh!!!" Vamp shrieked as she took the kick, and it caused her to lose her balance. Not wanting to be caught off-guard and ending up on her back, Vamp decided to drop herself on one knee, still in a vertical position, though in a rather precarious one. To prevent more attacks from hitting her, the petite vampire would try to bring her guard up by bringing her forearms up.

Her fake-out managed to work, and Amy landed the kick. Sadly, Vamp was able to stabilize herself enough to just drop down to one knee. Still, Amy would take what she could get. She went in for another sharp kick to the face, but it was met with Vamp's forearms, which blocked the strike. The blonde couldn't help but smile a little. Despite the overconfidence the Vampire had, she was actually a smart wrestler. Amy knew she was going to put up one hell of a fight, and that was exciting.

With Vamp putting her guard up, but still on her knees, the girl in blue decided to go for something bigger to keep the advantage in her court. With her forearms up, Vamp was likely to be less able to defend against grabs, at least, that's what Amy believed. So, the blonde girl got herself behind her opponent, bent down, and wrapped her arms around her foe's midsection. From there, she would attempt to showcase some of her strength by lifting Vamp off her knees and going for a release German Suplex! "Hrrrrahhh!"

Vamp grunted when she blocked Amy's kick with her forearms. She needed to find a way to turn things around in her favor, or else she would find herself in an unfavorable position. Focusing her mind on getting back up, she didn't realize what Amy was planning to do next, and when she finally realized it, she was unable to do anything as her opponent grabbed her from behind. She might be quick, but she wasn't quick enough to stop Amy from what she was doing, as she was then hoisted up after having her waist grabbed from behind before being sent down into the mat with a release German suplex.

"UWAAAHHHHH!!!!"

Vamp cried out in pain as she crashed into the mat, landing on the back of her shoulders and neck. Due to the move being a release German suplex, Vamp ended up in a rather undignified position, with her rear sticking up in the air and her left disoriented on the mat. "Ghouuuu..." She moaned in pain, unable to defend herself against whatever Amy would try to do next.

While Amy was always ready to take hold of any advantages that came her way, she was not one to shame or embarrass her opponent, intentionally, anyway.

With the way that Vamp was positioned, Amy almost hesitated to do something, simply out of pity for the poor girl. But she shook it off quickly, reminding herself that this was a match and she needed to stay in this.

Quickly making her way over, she bent over her foe and pushed down on her legs so that they would subsequently pushed down on her shoulders. In was a matchbook pin, to say the least. The blonde really put all her body weight into this. It might have looked suggestive to some, but Amy was all business here. She wanted to come away with a win.

Vamp was disoriented thanks to Amy's German suplex, and she ended up in a rather embarrassing position, with her butt sticking up in the air. As she struggled to regain her bearing, her opponent then went for a pin, and much to Vamp's horror, it was a matchbook pin. Her crotch was exposed as her legs were spread, and she let out a squeak as she found herself in this position.

"ONE!"

Realizing that she needed to break this pin, Vamp desperately tried to break the pin, bucking her legs to make sure that she could free herself from this position. Still, the referee managed to count up to two as Vamp struggled to kick out.

"TWO!"

And right after two, Vamp would kick out, breaking out of the pin. Letting out an angry growl, she would try to push Amy off of her, freeing herself from the predicament. Baring her teeth as she glared at her opponent, her cheeks flushing and her eyes slightly teary, it was clear that she was miffed about being put into that position.

Amy heard two counts before she was shoved off of her opponent. A close fall, but, of course, it had come up short. A pity, but Amy wasn't going to dwell on it. That's when the blonde noticed the tears in Vamp's eyes. She was taken aback for a moment, as she wasn't quite sure what brought those on. Could this girl be more spinless than Amy had originally thought? The rest of her demeanor, coupled with how she fought earlier, made Amy doubt that thought. The fact that it was that pinning position that made Vamp upset, Amy was completely oblivious to. Either way, this was a match, and the girl in blue couldn't afford to waste any more time, even though her slight hesitation had just costed her 3 extra seconds after the pin was broken up.

Amy made her way over to the vampire girl and attempted to go for another swift kick to the chest area.

The hesitation did give Vamp enough time to get ready, and when Amy went to throw a kick right at her chest, Vamp would bring her arms up, blocking the incoming kick aimed to her chest. "Ngh!!" It did hurt a little, but at the very least, she was able to defend herself. From there, she would attempt to roll herself away from the blonde, hoping to regain her bearing and recover a little.

Distancing herself from Amy, Vamp would make her way towards the ropes, hoping to restore her strength. Her eyes (which were still a bit teary) were focused on Amy, and she brought her arm up and wiped her eyes. Pulling herself up, she would prepare herself for what her opponent would do next. She hoped that she could take on whatever her opponent would throw at her after this.
