An Awkward Encounter

Tara chuckled at Kyoko’s dismissal playfully. ”Alrightttt whatever you say. But technically speaking if your thinking of the loss you’re thinking of me. Which I don’t blame ya for.” She said with a wink already turning her back to Kyoko. “But I know you definitely liked me kissing you’re stomach as much as I enjoyed kissing it. So hit me up whenever you’re ready for round 2. I’ll be waiting.” She said with a wink before gaining a serious face. ”In the meantime I’m gonna go check on tbe kiddo to get her ready for her match against you. A word of advice.. don’t underestimate her.” She said softly towards the end before walking away to go check on Thea, a deliberate sway in her hips as she did so leaving Kyoko with her trainer by the previously occupied work out machine

If she needed another reminder on why Tara annoyed her she got it. She put on a stupid never may care attitude to try and brush everything off.well she would make sure that didn’t last. She would break her just like she planned to break Thea.

“Yeah go make sure she doesn’t break her hand. Don’t want any excuses when I win. Kacey hold them bag.” She told her training partner and Kacey complied so Kyoko can start venting out some issues she had on it. She really wasn’t looking to talk to anyone now.

"Hmmm wow the girls in this league are sooo... mmm... Lucious!? I can't stand it!" Chiyoko would think to herself as she observed the encounter between the fated rivals from afar. She would observe as Kyoko and Kacey would make their way out of the gym as they seemed to had lost interest in this encounter with Thea and Tara altogether. Chiyoko would make her way out of the shadows and approach the two fighters as they trained in the gym.

"Hey Blondie!" Chiyoko would shout. "Are you new here by any chance? I just wanted to say... good on you for holding your ground against the veteran in front of you by the way, that takes some courage! Perhaps I could be of help to you if you truly plan on challenging the former belly queen and making some noise yourself?" Chiyoko would ask as she looked at the blonde with a smile on her face as she felt a bit of Gosu beaming from this girl. She held out her hand with intent of offering help.

"The names Chiyoko! What's yours?"

Tara sighed a bit hearing Kyoko’s words as she left the belly queen behind. The woman was more alike to Thea than she’d ever admit. If nothing else they at least shared that damnable stubborness that made each woman extremely dofficilt to talk out of anything. The fact Tara knew that much about Kyoko just from their match and this interaction was enough to say how glaring Kyoko’s stubborness was. As she approached where Thea had went off too she raised a brow seeing her psuedo protege approached by someone. Raising a brow Tara would lean against a unoccupied machine to observe what would happen. ”Interesting.. lets see how this plays out.” She said to herself watching tbe exchange.

Thea breathed deeply as she walked away from the tense situation. Her temper was still rather stoked so she was looking forward to working through them with the help of some of the equipment available to her. However before she could start she blinked in surprise from someone calling out to her. “Huh?” She asked in surprise before registering the woman before her was complimenting her on her faceoff with Kyoko. Blushing a bit in bashful embarassment she smiled slightly as she held her arm while looking to the side. ”Oh.. thank you I appreciate it.. but yes I’m relatively new.” She said softly to the newly named Chiyoko before seeing the woman’s outstretched arm. Smiling a bit brighter she would reach out taking it and giving it a firm handshake. “It’s a pleasure to meet you, I’m Thea. How will you be able to help if you don’t mind me asking?” the younger blomde asked curiously, interested in what the woman could offer, and why she even wanted too period.

Chiyoko would look at the cute blonde with a small but daring smirk and say "Well that depends on what path you are looking to take... taking on Kyoko is no small task. She is both skilled and durable, if you want any chance of winning your next match up you will need to be prepared to fight because to beat her you will have to wear her down like your friend did while she watches me ever so quietly." Chiyoko would wink towards Tara as she glared straight at her "Didn't think I'd notice you making observations? No worries after all Thea reminds me a bit of my own daughter in a way!" Chiyoko would make her way to some dumbbells to lift as she continued to talk with the two beauties before her.


Chiyoko would grab two 50 lb dumbbells and begin to lift them in each of her sets showing little effort as she looked on to the two women as she continued to speak "You know Kyoko isn't going to show any mercy on your no matter how small the scale so you need to get the jump on her, while you are not the athlete Tara which does make things difficult for you I still think you can pull this off, but you'll need to strategize as I do, your body isn't there yet in terms of keeping up but your strikes are certainly on par with some good fighters I've come across you might even fare well against my kid you never know! But in order to do that you gotta be comfortable with your own style of fighting..." Chiyoko would reach out her hand and say "Whatdya say? Mind if I pitch in on your training?"

Thea found herself fascinated by the older woman as she spoke and nodded along as spoke, finding her words both insightful and interesting. Tara meanwhile had her arms crossed, paying attention to Chiyoko as she spoke. She was still a bit suspicious, but admittedly that was mostly her just feeling protective over her young charge. ”You’re fine. I’m just keeping an eyeboit for her.” Tara said with a shrug as she saw the woman begin to lift some dumbells while speaking.

Thea meanwhile was picking the meaning of the woman’s words apart in her mind while looking down at herself. Chiyoku had a point in everything she said. Despite being considered somewhat of a prodigy in her young lion class Thea was still developing her style some what. She considered herself more or less, a jack of all trades, but thinking back to Tara’s match the reason she won was because she fell back on her strength and used it to outlast Kyoko. Nodding to herself and then at the woman Thea flashed a resolute look to the older woman. “Yes I’d be honored if you’d help me train.” She said while bowing her head slightly to the woman oit of respect.
