Michiko vs. Helena

Helena was quite pleased with herself. The Canadian grappler smiled as she sauntered her way down towards the gorilla position eager to squash another would-be wrestling heroine.

As her music played the heel smiled, waving sarcastically to the booing crowd as she came out and walked down the ramp. She basked in their hatred. She knew winning at any cost would carry its detractors so she used the booing as motivation.

She climbed nimbly into the ring still smiling. She settled into her corner to await her next target.

While Michiko hadn't tangled with Helena before, the noise she heard coming from the audience as soon as she had made her presence known in the ring told her everything she needed to know. Even before she had done anything, this woman's reputation preceded her - and for nothing particularly good, by the sounds of it. Michiko could hear their boos all the way from where she stood backstage at the Gorilla position - and the thought of it made her grin wider. If there was ill doings about, Michiko was here to put a stop to them! If Helena was this much of a troublemaker, she would teach her a lesson! It all reminded her of why she was here to fight, and she was going to prove that!

As Michiko's music started up, the reaction of the fans swiftly changed, as the boos that had been directed at Helena gave way to cheers and applause. The purple-haired girl proudly stepped out onto the entrance ramp, a beaming smile on her face as she looked over the scene before her. She took off running to the ring, slapping high-fives as she went. Michiko knew these people were counting on her to put Helena in her place, and she wasn't going to let them down.

She came to the ring, grabbing the bottom rope and springing up over the top as she rolled inside. Then, Michiko spun back around to face her opponent, tapping her fists together and cracking her knuckles. "It looks like the people have spoken as to who they prefer," she said. "I'm going to give them what they want!"

Helena looked over at Michiko and smiled as the confident woman spoke. Helena simply yawned at her waving her hand dismissively. "I am sure you will child." Helena said, sounding just as disinterested as she appeared. She haunted closer to Michiko and still looked as if she didn't have a care in the world. However once she was close Helena was going to lash out with a toe kick to the abdomen to try to double over Michiko before the bell rang! Helena was not going to waste time and she was out to make a statement on this night against her opponent.

Michiko was typically a confident girl, some might even say cocky. But she had achieved success in wrestling, and she took pride in her ability - as well as being someone the fans could put their hopes in and want to see succeed. So, when she saw Helena talking down to her, it put a damper on the lavendar-haired heroine's mood. Her smile turned to a frown as she stepped back, looking Helena in the eye. "Child? You may say I'm young, but I just like to say I'm in peak condition - and you're going to see that soon enough!"

Michiko stepped closer to Helena, pointing a finger in her direction as though she was warning her of the danger of underestimating her. But that turned out to be a mistake. As soon as Michiko drew too close, Helena shot out at her, getting in a cheap shot before the match had even begun! Now the crowd's boos grew louder, while Michiko, caught off-guard, doubled backward with a cough and a gasp, clutching her stomach. The ref girl turned to shout a warning at Helena, bu the bell rang to get the match underway. But Michiko was still nursing the pain in her abdomen, bent over forward, and she was off to a rough start!

Helena had struck first before the bell, and she immediately went about her business while ignoring the referee. Helena ran past Michiko to bounce off the ropes, running back at her opponent from behind. Helena jumped forward, reaching out to grab Michiko by the head as she flew. The Canadian was trying to come down, bringing Michiko with her face-first in order to smash her face off the mat with a running bulldog! Helena didn't want to waste the opportunity she had created with her over-eager strike. After all waiting for the bell to ring was dumb, if Helena was ready why wouldn't she strike?

Even after the bell had rang, Michiko was clearly the worse off, as she had been left recovering from a quick but punishing shot to the stomach. Left winded, she was still trying to catch her breath. All the while, Michiko was tense, her teeth clenched and her body rigid. She knew that against an opponent like Helena, who was unscrupulous enough to attack her before the match had even begun, letting her guard down would be disastrous; her foe surely had another cheap shot planned. But when she was pained in this way, she couldn't do much more than clutch her gut and groan.

But Michiko's fears would prove correct - as Helena went running by her and bounced off the ropes, shooting back toward the lilac-haired woman! As her arm encircled Michiko's head, she was sent down headfirst into the mat, letting out a scream before she landed with a thud. Her arms shot out in front of her, trying to catch herself and break her fall, but it did Michiko no good, and she was squashed like a pancake by the impact as she fell onto her stomach. The boos would only get louder, as the crowd saw how ruthless Helena could be.

Helena was cackling as she sat up, looking over at Michiko as her head was driven hard down to the mat. "Oh my precious little woman you don't know what you got into stepping into the ring with me." Helena said as she wrapped her legs around Michiko's head to choke her out while raising her elbow up, bringing it crashing down into Michiko's head over and over to pound away at her skull while choking her out with her legs! Helena was smiling and laughing, only growing more satisfied with herself as the crowd booed her more loudly with each passing moment!

Michiko had been left flattened by the fall; no matter how she might have attempted to brace herself against the oncoming impact, it proved her no good. Groaning, she struggled to push herself up off the canvas, getting her hands underneath her and trying to lift off. But she wouldn't get far, as Helena spared her no amount of cruelty! As Michiko rose, she was suddenly cut off as Helena brought her legs together around her head, squeezing it tightly. Her airways impeded, Michiko began to sputter and gasp, twising and turning hopelessly below her opponent. "G-Gah..! Let...go-!"

Though she tried to pull herself free, Michiko's efforts would ultimately prove useless, as Helena sent her elbow down into her head again and again! A series of thuds rang out, punctuated with cries of pain as Michiko kicked, bucked, and spasmed. She crumpled back into the mat, held down against the force of such an onslaught.

"Gah...you're...truly a vile soul..." she muttered. While perhaps dramatic, Michiko had little sympathy for anyone who would attack their opponent before they had any chance to defend themselves, and she knew her fans were counting on her to triumph over such adversity. If nothing else, Michiko didn't want to let them down! She clenched her teeth, her muscles tensing as she pushed her body to move even against the punishment she was taking. Even if Helena was hanging onto her head, Michiko tried to rise to her feet to take her along for the ride!

Helena was finding out that Michiko was far stronger than she looked! The woman was rising as Helena still held her and as Helena squeezed she had come to find out this was a mistake. Helena was lift up and sent crashing hard to the mat, crying out as she landed painfully on her back! "Arrrrgggghhhhhh!"

Helena squirmed and writhed on the mat, her control broken as Michiko had halted her momentum. This was a bad spot and Helena was bracing herself for the woman and her payback for Helena's tactics.

It was with no small amount of effort or straining that Michiko picked herself up off the ground, fighting against the weight of Helena's body on her neck and shoulders as well as the fatigue of having fought a losing battle up until this moment. But what Michiko lacked in stamina right now, she made up for it in determination and willpower - and she simply wouldn't allow herself to be brought low like this in front of all of her fans, thanks to Helena's cheap tricks! She got one foot under her, and then the other, and as she pushed the muscles in her legs to do the work, she was able to lift up from the ground with Helena still in tow. The crowd gasped at Michiko's display of strength - and they were even more excited a moment later, as the purple-haired woman threw herself back to spike Helena straight into the canvas!

Landing at the same time as Helena, Michiko rolled off to the side, getting to her knees and panting for breath. That had taken a good deal out of her, and she needed to collect herself. But as soon as she could, she would push herself back to her feet, standing over her downed foe. A defiant look crossed Michiko's face, as she took Helena by the leg, pulling it up and twisting her ankle with an ankle lock!
