Ashley held on tight to Hanabi's leg as she continued to keep her kneebar locked in, even as Hanabi threatened to keep punching her until she let go "As if I'm just gonna let g-" She was cut off by Hanabi's second punch hitting her in the gut, forcing Ashley to release Hanabi's leg in favour of clutching her injured stomach "Ugh, fuck." For a moment she just lay there, in her eagerness to get Hanabi to submit to her kneebar she had overestimated herself and now she was paying the price.

Hanabi would keep landing punch after punch as she would not stop until the blond would release her as she figured it would take at least two or three blows. As in response to her first punch she heard Ashley say that she would not just let her go as the Japanese wrestler cut her off with her second punch. As she heard Ashley insult her as she tried to pull free , and once the third one landed she got an opening as she would for now crawl away so she could check how badly her knee had suffered from being trapped in the kneebar.

Ashley's teeth were clamped shut as she writhed on the mat in pain following Hanabi's gut punches that forced her to release her hold. Luckily for her Hanabi didn't feel like following up on those attacks and instead crawled away to inspect the damage to her leg. Ashley would take a moment to try and soothe the pain in her stomach before crawling to the ropes and dragging herself back up to her feet. Next she would do one of two things.

If Hanabi had gotten back up to her feet Ashley would march over to her with her hands raised and throw a roundhouse kick aimed at her chin. Though if Hanabi was still on the ground by the time Ashley got up the blonde would instead run over and attempt deliver a leg drop to her chest.

After breaking free from the kneebar , Hanabi would crawl away as she took the time to inspect her leg for damages rather then take advantage of the fact the blond was writhing on the canvas in pain. Still this would also allow Ashley some time to recover as she would slowly rise to her feet as she kept an eye on how her opponent was doing.

Seeing the other wrestler approach her the firecracker would have to act quickly as Ashley went for an roundhouse kick to her chin as she tried to grasp the leg , and then push it the other way. Hoping to unbalance her opponent long enough to allow her to rush forward , and knock the blond down with an clothesline.

Ashley threw out a roundhouse kick hoping to daze Hanabi and leave her open for further damage, but unfortunately that kick would never connect with its target. Instead Hanabi managed to grasp her leg mid-swing, stopping her from moving her leg "Huh!?!" Ashley hopped on one foot trying desperately to keep balance, but when Hanabi pushed her leg away it took all of Ashley's focus to stay on her feet. It was unfortunate then, that all of that focus spent to stay on her feet would leave Ashley wide open to Hanabi's clothesline "Ungh!" As she was struck across the chest Ashley would be knocked down, landing hard on her butt with a groan.

After blocking her opponent's leg , and then pushing it away Hanabi would have an opening to counter attack. As she would rush forward as she knocked the blond down with an clothesline . With her opponent now on her behind the Japanese wrestler would keep running as she would rebound off the ropes. With the added speed she would try to grab Ashley by the back of her head as she would sit down as she went for an bulldog.

After being knocked down to a sitting position courtesy of Hanabi's clothesline Ashley was dazed and left trying to regain her bearings. Before she could move to get back to her feet she felt hands on the back of her head, then next thing she knew her head was spiked against the ground "Gah!" Her face bounced off the mat hard enough that she almost went back up to her original position before she fell back down again, this time managing to cushion the impact with her arms. After taking that bulldog Ashley meekly groaned as she crawled up to her hands and knees, too busy dealing with the stars spinning around her head to focus on what Hanabi was doing next.

After having taken down the blond with an bulldog , and driven her head into the canvas Hanabi figured that her opponent would be disorientated for an while. As she would roll Ashley onto her back as she would lay on top of the other wrestler as she hooked her legs into the air as she went for another cover as the referee would get down to begin to count as she heard the ref say ''one''.

As Ashley weakly crawled up to her hands and knees Hanabi halted her progress by rolling her onto her back, Ashley being too dazed to stop her, and hooked her leg to go for a pinfall. The ref counted one, then two, then Ashley thrust her shoulder up with a cry of desperation, breaking the pin "Crap, that was close!" she cried. She then went to shove Hanabi, hoping to push her off and make some distance between the two. If that worked she would start to climb up to her feet, learning from her previous failure at getting Hanabi to submit that it would be best to keep things off the mat.

Hanabi thought she had the match won when the referee would count to two , and raised her hand for the third time. Only for the blond to thrust her shoulder up as she kicked out as the ref would get to her feet while raising two fingers showing it was only an two count. So with that Hanabi had no other choice but to get back to her feet like Ashley did as she would reply back ''well next time you won't be kicking out so you better not give me the chance to hit you with my finisher blondie''
