Family history
The Akans and the Yamamoto's have been in the wrestling business for generations, though there have always been members who skip the business for various reasons rarely do 10 years go without one of them being involved. One of these outings saw Denji Akan and Hayato Yamamoto meet early on in there respective careers and eventually became best friends forming a tag team that they stayed in for most of there respective careers. This brought there families together including Hayato's two siblings Touka and Hiroshi who was also a wrestler, and Denji's brother Ishiko. Denji and Touka would fall in love years later, marry and have kids causing a brief time where he took a break from wrestling to be with his first two kids but made the decision to go back into the ring soon after. Ishiko who never wrestled having disliked the damage he had seen it do to his father in his youth tried to support his brother despite his own misgivings but when he had a kid of his own he started to distance himself from the family business that the rest of them embraced. It was only 4 years after the birth of his youngest Ayame, that Denji and Hayato were lost at sea, travelling by boat to get some relaxation while going between shows, there bodies were never found. The loss brought a brief end to any Akans in wrestling as Ishiko was ever more against it after the loss of his brother, and Hiroshi took a brief hiatus from it as well to help his family cope. It wouldnt be until almost a decade later when Kyoko took up wrestling as a profession that an Akan saw any focus.
Kyoko's antics both good and bad (More of the latter in her recent years) saw a revival of wrestling in the family, Hiroshi who had mostly been a part timer due to trying to raise his own child started to take a more active wrestling stance, his daughter Mimi even showed promise and desire to break into the business. Touka's other kids Hideo and Ayame soon followed there big sisters footsteps, though they wouldnt consider it that as they had both already been interested in wrestling, and Touka started to fall in love with the business again, causing her to take an active stance in it and see what she missed. Sheena started training with her cousins in secret knowing that her dad would never approve until she was of age to do so without his consent bringing a revived stance of wrestling, hopefully one stronger then what came before.
Ayame: The Youngest of Denji and Touka's kids the most naturally gifted of the bunch but also the least experienced and the most naive, she mostly seeks to find her own identity in the profession and has taken her family crest to become the Wolf of the Akans.
Kyoko: The eldest of the Denji and Touka's kids. The first one to officially wrestle as well has made a name for herself as the Belly Queen. Arrogant but protective of anyone in her family she has created a persona of pure confidence that has attracted many enemies to her. Though she backs down from none of them shes more or less created the current perception of what her family is like.
Touka: Wife to the late Denji and mother to 3 Touka trained with her siblings but never actually took up wrestling, now a women in her 40's and inspired by her kids she decides to see what things were like for them in trying to become a well known name with the time she has. Mostly just looking for fun.
Sheena: Only daughter of Ishiko, growing up with only her father she was always interested in wrestling but kept the interest hidden because of ehr fathers public disdain for it instead training with her cousins when they thought they could get away with it. Now an adult able to express herself truly she takes to the wrestling world to make something of herself.
Hideo: Second child and only son of Denji and Touka. He was the first to take an interest in wrestling and he desire to run a company one day but not before hes gotten his foot in the door and seen what he can prove as a wrestler. He also hopes to get out of his big sisters shadow for the first time in his life.
Hiroshi: Hiroshi Yamamoto is the brother of Touka, a wrestler in his own right he spent the back half of his career on and off from wrestling but still doing what he could to honor his brother (Hence the split in his attire) A man with simple interests he wants for nothing but to enjoy life and make sure everyone in his family can do the same.
Mimi: Mimi is the daughter of Hiroshi and a female wrestler she never knew. Her mother left her at the Akan household as she had no desire to raise a child and Mimi spent much of her childhood raised by Touka rather then her father, because of this she has some resentment towards her dad, but that bridge is slowly mending with time as Hiroshi has been more active in her life. Having as much interest in the business as any Akan she took the family name over her father's own and seeks to help bring her family back into the big picture.
Ishiko: Having seen his father nearly cripple himself wrestling, his brother lose his life trying to keep up with its schedule and lose his wife to childbirth Ishiko hasn't had the most fun life. And wrestling has taken the blame for most of his woes, though he was always more business minded then the rest of his family and runs his own business while keeping an eye on his family. Though he does so from a distance as his pride keeps him from being able to condone them working in a sport he refuses to support.
