I’ve recently had some of my time free up (in good ways), and I’ve had the bug recently to come back and try to get back into some RP. There are characters I would still really like to write for, and a few stories I really want to tell with them, and it seems like as good a time as any to try and make that happen. I’ve been lucky to already reconnect with a few folks over Discord and got to dip my toes in some really fun RP, and that’s just encouraged me to go ahead and keep easing my way back into things. I know I had some extant threads, and if we had one going that you'd like to finish, let me know and we can talk about it. For right now, there’s some specific characters I’m looking to use, and specific things I’m looking for, out of them. Characters I'm Looking to Use, Listed by Priority:
BLANCO SOMBRA
Third-generation luchador looking to take on opponents from all over the world. Physically lightweight (roughly 170 lbs.), relying on mobility and technical skill to get one up on opponents. A high-flying lucha libre tecnico.
Looking For:Trying to pick up a few wins to start pushing him, particularly close matches. Clashes of styles or size differences are good, too. Would prefer standard one pinfall/submission matches, but gimmick matches could be fun, too.
Specifics:Would love to get a rivalry going, but one-off matches are great, for now. Have an idea for a bout against either a really serious striker or powerhouse, which involves a short match but them looking very strong in the post-match, message me if you want to discuss more. Open to MvF or MvM matches, and will take a few active threads with this character if there’s interest.
VIDA FENIX
A young high-flyer, an orphan from Mexico practically and literally raised in lucha libre. Another lightweight, whose speed and enthusiasm tries to overcome her stature and overwhelming naivete. Another tecnico, this one to a fault.
Looking For: Just matches for now, would prefer traditional pinfall/submission finish. Would prefer losses for Vida, but a flash rollup or underdog win could work if that’s something someone wants.
Specifics:Going to build up to a major storyline for her, but this would involve getting her more active, first. Good with FvF or MvF matches. Will take a couple active threads with this character.
HOLLY MATHESON
The British Bombshell, the former LAW Loser’s Champion, and a woman known for spending most of her mat time on her back but not in the fun way. Holly may have a losing record, but she has also shed herself of the stigma of the Loser’s Championship … which doesn’t mean she’s gotten good, necessarily, but who knows?
What I’m Looking For: Holly’s always a fun one to throw in the ring, so if you’ve got a brute that’s looking to pad their record, or a loser looking for an ‘equal’ challenge, I’m willing to put Holly through a match or two.
Specifics: Nothing much. Anything from a fast squash to a shocking win can work, here. Willing to take on FvF or FvM, and I might take on one or two threads for her if people are interested.
