Amy Henderson vs Finlay Zeffer - The Match That Started It All

Amy was so close to winning the match, she could feel it. Which is why when Finlay got his shoulder up at the last possible second, a pang of disappointment went through the blonde girl's heart. So close, and yet, so far.

The girl in blue got off of her opponent and got to her knees. She knew that the longer this went on, the harder it would be for her to capitalize. She had plenty of stamina to go for a very long time, that in it of itself wasn't the core issue. But the Kiwi was proving to be no slouch either, and his abilities could prove devastating if her managed to catch Amy off-guard again. Therefore, it was in Amy's best interest to end this match sooner, rather than later.

Grabbing him by the head, the American girl pulled Finlay back to a vertical base, and, should no counters be made along the way, would look to send some big knee strikes into his gut to soften him up!

Finaly groaned as he layed on the mat following that near fall. That was too close for comfort, he knew from the moment they first clashed that Amy’s strength wasn’t too be underestimated but even still was caught flat footed and nearly beaten as a result. If he were to win this he would need to fire back with a heavy offense, but before that he would need to counter and turn things back into his favor.

However before be could think any further on how to do so he felt himself being grabbed and forced up to his feet. Grunting he allowed Amy to do so. ‘No better time than tbe present.’ He thought to himself, mentally preparing having a decent idea of what Amy would try. As they got to their feet Finlay watched her legs carefully, then as it swung up be would move his arms down to simultaneously block it before grabbing onto her toned thigh. Locking his arm around it and pulling her thigh against his waist. If successful he would swing his other arm around her head to force it under beofre throwing himself back to try and hit his fellow blonde with a fisherman suplex

Victory had been oh-so-close to her grasp. Perhaps it was because she had a losing record in LAW right now that had driven her to want this win so badly. In turn, the subsequent kickout produced an equal amount of frustration. But Amy moved forward. She knew that to get caught up in the frustration was to give the match away, and she wasn't going to do that.

She pulled Finlay up and got ready to give him some knee strikes. However, as she first one zeroed in on its mark, the Kiwi caught it, throwing her balance off. From there, it was easy for him to get his arm around her head and throw her backwards for a Fisherman's Suplex!

"GUH!" she cried as she was slammed into the mat hard. Her limbs flew out to her sides as the wind was knocked out of her for the moment!

Finlay cursed and shook his head as he managed to catch her leg preventing the knee. That alone was cause for celebration. The blonde girl’s strikes where something to be feared indeed. Alongside her slams. So to stop himself from taking more damage was good. But now it was time for him to dish some payback to his fellow blonde!

Successfully managing to swing himself backwards and land the fisherman’s suplex he smirked hearing her cry of pain as a result of said impact. Releasing her leg he would maintain his grip on her arm as he turned himself around and grabbed her other arm. Hauling the blonde girl to her feet one of Finlay’s hands went to grab onto the back of her neck to hold her up onto her feet. Raising his other arm up he would start to send punch after punch to her chest to push her closer to the center of the ring while using his grip on the back of her neck to keep her from falling, all in preperation for what be would do next!

After getting slammed by that fisherman's suplex, Amy was momentarily stunned. Though she tried to fight back as much as she could, she was ultimately unable to really counter the oncoming onslaught.

Being pulled back to her feet, Finlay was quick to grab her behind the head and start delivering punches to her unguarded chest area. "Ugh! Agh! Ogh!"

Amy kept backing up with each punch that hit her. She was unable to fall down the the canvas due to the Kiwi's hold on her. As a result, she was pushed towards the center of the ring. She would eventually cover herself up to block any further chest strikes, but by then, it was too late. Finlay had her when he wanted her, and she was about to see why that wasn't a good thing.

Keeping his hand tight on the back of her neck as he sent punches Finlay was sure to watch where they were and their distance from the ropes. Whilst doing so he was sure to bombard Amy’s chest with blow after blow, keeping her nice and docile as they edged closer to the center of the ring. Once there he would smirk softly knowing this was a prime opportunity.

Despite the smaller blonde putting her arms up to block his blows he was done with the attack as he snaked his right behind Amy’s left leg. Switching his hands grip from her neck to her face Finlay would push down on Amy while pulling his leg back on hers to to slam Amy down back first on the mat. Dropping down with her he would use his continued grip on her arm to bend it back while also wrapping his free arm around her head and grabbing the arm that kept Amy’s trapped to grip it and hopefully form a vice grip. If successful he would pull back while squeezing on her head for his Anaconda Vice submission finisher the Zero Aero.

More blows came. Amy thought they would never end, and her chest was starting to redden and become raw. She needed to find a way out of this, but was really struggling with a means to actually do so. Once she finally put her hands up, the damage had not only been done, but also, Finlay was already moving on to his next plan of attack.

Sweeping her leg out from under her, the Kiwi was quick to lock her arm behind her and pull her head up. It was an anaconda vice grip, but one that hurt more than anything else he had done in this match so far. The pain was practically unbearable, and the blonde girl was screaming out with every second she was in it.

The ref was quick to come over and ask if she wanted to quit, and there was definitely a part of her that did. But she was hungry for her first win. She needed it. No matter how bad the pain was, she could not give in. "NO!" she cried in defiance. Simultaneously, she would try bring her knee up and strike him in the back of the head with it. She knew they was no way she was breaking out of this on strength alone, and she was too far away from the ropes to go for a break.

Predictably Finlay’s assault to Amy’s body left her stunned and vulnerable, completely open as he dropped her flat on her back and dived down on top of her and successfully locked in his finisher. Pulling the hold tight, also pulling her screaming face closer to him as he squeezed her head tightly between his biceps and chest. Gritting his teeth as he squeezed he admittedly didn’t take pleasure in making Amy suffer like this. She had been an honorable and worthy opponet, someone he could say he respected at this point.

However as he squeezed the blonde girl he made the mistake of not factoring her legs in, beleiving he had done enough damage to the blonde’s chest earlier that she wouldn’t be able to focus. However this would prove to be a fatal mistake as her knee shot backward driving into the back of his skull making his eyes widen in pain. “Gah!” He yelled out, his hold loosening significantly around her as he lost focus due to the pain.

A few knees to the back of the head would be all that was necessary for the girl in blue to escape. That being said, it was very important that she make it out of there in one piece. Had she been subject to that hold any longer, she surely would have been forced to tap out.

As she rolled away from the Kiwi, she held her body. She was in pain. Lots of pain. Everything hurt so much. She had not realized how significant it was, until now. If he locked her in another one of those... Amy shuddered to think about it. She couldn't afford to let that happen!

Struggling to make it back to her feet, Amy turned to face her opponent. The match had gotten to the point where both wrestlers were on their last legs. One bad move, and it would all be over. The blonde girl had gained quite a lot of respect for this fighter, who was equally as blonde as she was. But this was a wrestling match. She needed to come out the victor.

As soon as Finlay made it to his feet, Amy would rush over as best she could with the aches and pains she was dealing with, looking to surprise him with a spine buster and bring him back down to the mat.

”Agh... those legs of hers are strong..” Finlay said to himself dazedly and in pain as he tried pushing himself up to his feet. Wincing slightly at the pain in his back and skull he groaned, not realizing how much damage he had taken over the course of the match. He would definitely admit of his opponets so far in LAW Amy was probably the one that’s pushed him his limits the most. Something she earned his respect for.

However.. he’d be damned if he rolled over ane died for her. This was a match, a fight of the fittest, and he would win. Pushing himself up to his feet with a wince he was ready to continue his battle against the blue clad warrior. However it seemed she was ready before him and was already in motion. Perhaps as a result of the dazed state from the headshots he had taken courtesy of Amy’s knees he hadn’t noticed his opponet charging till it was too late! “Gahhhh!” Finlay would cry out in pain following the loud imapct of his back hitting the mat once more as a whole new level of pain reverberated through his back making him groan in pain from under Amy.
