Deanna Duncan stood backstage, crossing her arms with her brow furrowed.
"...You know what Cheyenne?" said Duncan, waiting for a reply from her imposing tag team partner who stood there with her arms crossed too, looking at the platinum-haired girl.
"...I'm gonna win this match."
"Good," answered Cheyenne Black Rock simply.
"And... and! And... I'm going to kick her ass," added Deanna excitedly, firing herself up.
"Good," repeated the Native American briefly.
"And it'll be bad--real bad. Like, woah, she might even quit but I'll say to her 'hey, don't give up. Follow your dreams so you can be as good as me one day' and then she'll be like 'Thanks you're my role model,'" explained Duncan, a huge grin on her face.
Cheyenne waited a while, giving her partner a skeptical look before finally saying,
"Good."
"Good! It's good! It's so good! Gonna beat her up like whack pow! And--is that my music?" asked Deanna, eyes drifting upward.
"It is your music," confirmed Cheyenne.
"Damnit all..." grumbled Deanna Duncan before racing to the stage and coming out as
Nerves by Icon For Hire played! She would then mockingly prance down to the ring, slapping the hands of fans along the way as Cheyenne Black Rock followed behind slowly, taking her time coming down to the ring. As the song mockingly played in the background, The Diamond got to the ring steps before jogging up them and striking a pose for the crowd!
Then, she stepped through the ropes and then stood on the middle rope, striking yet another pose for the crowd before hoping off and then facing her opponent, hopping in place with a wide grin on her face.
"Okay, so Hanabi, right? Hanabi, good luck tonight, but I gotta let you know, I'm going for the win on this thing. I know, I know. I'm hot, obviously. And you think I'm just a pretty face, which I'm not! I'm super for real and ready to tear it up! And I know you feel super hot in your little onesie too, but I've got to be honest with you: I'm ready to absolutely go ham tonight. And I just don't know if you're equipped to handle it right now. I'm just not sure! So basically... don't be disappointed if/when I win." Deanna then threw a fist in the air, nodding a few times confidently. She was ready to go into this match. She felt sure. She was ready to get that W. She really hoped her opponent was willing to want to give it to her too.
