Re: This Fire Burns!: Firebrand (D) vs. Finlay Zeffer
Since it seemed Finlay was hesitating, Firebrand decided to make the next move, she charged Finlay with all the speed she had and leaped into the air, if what Firebrand was doing is successful, Firebrand would have Finlay in the rather awkaward position of being in a standing headscissors while his head faced Firebrand's rather amused face...

Re: This Fire Burns!: Firebrand (D) vs. Finlay Zeffer
As Finlay circled Firebrand he watched her carefully, waiting for the firey wrestler to make the first move. A move she most certainly made, and soon as she dashed and leaped at him throuh the air. Grunting as he felt her thighs once again wrapped around his head he took a few steps back nearly thrown off balance by his opponet. However he remained standing. Despite the dwindling air he looked down at Firebrand’s smirking face with one of his own as he grasped her hips and leaned up try and force her body up into a power bomb position. If successful and uninterupted he would try to throw her forward to slam his fellow blonde back first into the mat.

Re: This Fire Burns!: Firebrand (D) vs. Finlay Zeffer
Firebrand was all about taking risks, this was no different. As she wretch her legs tighter, she noticed Finlay's smirk as well, she didn't have time to react as she found herself flying back first into the mat. She laid on the mat, more than a little stunned...

Re: This Fire Burns!: Firebrand (D) vs. Finlay Zeffer
After successfully slamming Firebrand into the mat, Finlay would hold onto her legs with a smirk as he looked down at the stunned expression on her face. Pulling her legs up a bit and closing his arms around them he would continue with his next move. “Hope your ready for this one.” He said looking to turn Firebrand over on her stomach and if successful he would lean backwards to try and lock in a boston crab against his opponet.

Re: This Fire Burns!: Firebrand (D) vs. Finlay Zeffer
Firebrand probably should not have agreed to a Submission match, as it seemed her rather light frame made it rather east to slap on any submission. Still, Firebrand was determined not to tap out, not in her first match. She crawled to the ropes with a tear in her eye, and with sheer determination, she made it to the ropes...

Re: This Fire Burns!: Firebrand (D) vs. Finlay Zeffer
Finlay looked down at Firebrand rather surprised she managed to crawl forward with his weight on her. ‘What will.’ He thought to himself as she grabbed the ropes. He could have lept the hold in or dragged her away, however if nothing else this firebrand had earned his respect, so out of respect he released her legs and stood up taking a few steps away from her to allow her to regain her footing.

Re: This Fire Burns!: Firebrand (D) vs. Finlay Zeffer
Firebrand propped herself up, she knew this had to end soon, Firebrand charged Finlay with a clothesline, and if successful, Firebrand would lock in a Romero Special, she usually doesn't apply this hold, but, Finlay forced her to think outside the box...

Re: This Fire Burns!: Firebrand (D) vs. Finlay Zeffer
Finlay watched her carefully as she got up and as she charged he would do the same, his goal being to match her blow for blow outbkf respect for the rookie. As she rose her arm up he would do the same. However she had managed to build up more speed and momentum than he had and her arm crashed into his chest before his could hit hers dropping him flat on his back with a groan of pain as he tried to sit up only to grunt as he was turned over and felt her feet on his legs and his arms grasped by her. ‘Oh no.’ He thought to himself in panic but before be could do anything he found himself pulled into the devastating romero speacial submission. “Gahhh!” He yelled out in pain trapped in the hold and struggling wildly against the hold but he could feel himself rapidly approaching his limit.

Re: This Fire Burns!: Firebrand (D) vs. Finlay Zeffer
Firebrand could tell two things: 1)She had earned her opponent's respect, fitting, as Finlay had earned her respect as well and 2) She had to end it here, otherwise this match could go on forever. Firebrand bent Inlay even further, hoping to end this match that seemed to take a lot out of both competitors...

Re: This Fire Burns!: Firebrand (D) vs. Finlay Zeffer
Finlay groaned and kept struggling in the painful hold but the damn romero was also practically inescapable. Or at least in his current state it may as well be. Had it been earlier in the match he could have managed it but now his arms and legs were being incredibly strained by the brutal hold. Before he could try to resist more his smaller opponet yanked even further back multiplying the effectiveness of the hold. “Agghhhh!” He yelled in pain before rapidly tapping his hand against wrist to tap out to Firebrand.
