Amy Henderson vs Finlay Zeffer - The Match That Started It All

With her opponent face-planted onto the canvas, Amy was ready to start taking control of this match. Sadly, Finlay wasn't planning to let her get too far with it. He shook his foot free of her grasp and rolled forward to create distance. Once again, Amy was just a bit to slow to capitalize on her progress. It was something she was going to have to adapt to quickly.

As the Kiwi made it to his feet, he charged forward, sending a forearm smash into her chest. It hit with a resounding SLAP!

"URK!"

Amy stumbled back a step in recoil, but then immediately retaliated with her own, power-filled forearm smash to Finlay's chest!

Finlay raised an eyebrow as she stumbled back but stayed standing following the forearm smash. That was proof she was at least strong and resilient, at least to an extent. But that being said it was hard to measure how strong she was just from that. The next move however made it easier to do so. That being because the blonde before him connected her own forearm smash right into his chest. Tanking the blow to get a read for her strength Finlay had to admit he was regretting that decision somewhat. As following the blow he would take a step back similar to Amy, meanwhile he found it a bit more difficult to breathe. On top of that the general pain that blossomed from the blow was strong. Very few opponet he had gone against over the years had that kinda raw strength. “Interesting.” He said audibly as he looked to continue their exchange of melee blows by raising a leg up going for a kick to Amy’s side.

The forearm shot got him good, it wasn't difficult for Amy to see that. Yet, he didn't go down either. For what it was worth, despite the pain he seemed to go through, he took that shot pretty well. However, from this, Amy was starting to understand their differences, little by little. For the time being, she seemed to hold the advantage over him in the strength category. The blonde had every intent to use that to her advantage.

Then came Finlay's retaliation: a sharp kick to the side. Amy winced as it connected, causing her to move sideways with the momentum. "Nrg!" She clutched her wounded area for a moment, before firing back with her own kick, aimed at his side.

She was mirroring his actions, but judging from what happened before, she felt that she would come out on top in this exchange.

As Finlay successfully connected with the kick he watched as his opponet stumbled to the side. Before he could follow up with it she engaged with her own kick aimed at his side. As it connected he had to wince as it connected. “Gah!” He yelled out as her strong leg inpacted him and sent him sliding to the side himself and nearly into a crouch. Gritting his teeth he would rise up while going to send a uppercut into Amy’s stomach.

"BOUFAH!" Amy sputtered out as Finaly's fist sunk into her exposed midsection. She doubled over in pain, clutching her tummy with both arms. She backed away a bit, trying to get a little separation from him as she tried to recover.

It was a complete surprise! Amy didn't think he would be able to hit her quite so hard so quickly. It was a rare oversight on her part, and would thus lead to an opening for her opponent, should he choose to take advantage of it.

Finlay was still holding sore side following the blonde’s kick to it. She was strong. Really strong. More thsn Finlay expected. But that last uppercut of his worked quite well. Luckily for him it was well aimed and drove the air out of her. “Try this on for size!” Finlay yelled competitively as he charged forward to try and take Amy down with a spear.

As Amy continued to reel from the uppercut, she coughed and hacked from the lack of air. Her stomach hurt a lot, and she felt a little nauseous. But things were about to get worse from there.

Before she could react, Finlay charged her and nailed her with a spear, taking her down to the mat. "OOF!"

She rolled to her side, curling up a bit as she was trying to focus her energy on recovering.

Finlay smirked to himself in satisfaction as he managed to bring the busty blonde down tk the mat with his successful spear. He had actually been a bit worried before but now he knew he was a bit more in safer waters. Grabbing her left arm Finlay would throw himself back while draping his legs over her chest to pull the blonde down into a tight cross armbar.

In her moments of vulnerability, Amy became susceptible to whatever Finlay had chosen to do next. He chose to go for an cross armbar. As the blonde's arm was wrenched away from her body.

"Argh!"

The pain was bad. He wasn't holding anything back, which made Amy happy. She liked it when her opponents were motivated and giving it their all. It made the competition more fun. But that also meant it hurt more, and Amy wasn't much one for that. However, she wasn't sure if it was smart to try and power out of this, just yet.

Instead, she thought of something different, and possibly better. With his legs in the position they were in, it was very possible. Fighting through the pain, she rolled towards the Kiwi, looking to use her positioning to roll him up and get a quick pin! If successful, she put her weight down on him in the hopes of keeping him there.

Finlay smirked ever so slightly as he pulled back on his fellow blonde’s arm. She was tougher than he gave her credit for and while he doubted it would put her away it would surely wear her down.

As he pulled back he expected someone with her strength to try and power through and reverse the move. Something he planned for to reverse. However what he didn’t expect was for her to reverse it in a different way by rolling forward pressing her muscular body against his own lower half for a pin.

”One!!!” The ref yelled while hitting ghe mat for the first pin count.

“Grrr nice try!” Finlay yelled bracing hsi hands against the mat and pushing up with his arms while extending his legs. If he was successful he would hope to throw Amy off of him breaking the pin.
