Marzia Servelli vs. Hanabi Kawai [D] - Submission Match

Marzia picked herself up to her feet, nodding to Hanabi with a smile. The girl was definitely learning fast, and Marzia was happy she could keep up good spirits about it. But now that she had seen what Hanabi was capable of if she put her mind to it, Marzia knew she would have to stay on her toes should she strike again.

Sure enough, the purple-haired rookie was quick on her feet as she charged for the ropes just as Marzia picked herself up, springing back at her now with a clothesline. But Marzia had enough time to dodge, and she ducked down as Hanabi passed overhead, waiting for her to run into the ropes!

Hanabi tried to attack Marzia with a running clothesline, but she missed her when she ducked, making her crash again against the ropes, she used this moment to try and charge at the italian wrestler once again. Only this time she would try to bring her down with a hip attack.

Having gotten out of the way of Hanabi's incoming strike, Marzia looked up to see the purple-haired girl come charging into the ropes as the cables stretched against her form. The Italian took a few breaths to try and center herself, preparing to re-engage as Hanabi came back on the inevitable rebound. She rose her hands up, digging her ankles into the ground to steady her stance.

Sure enough, Hanabi bounced back toward her off the momentum, but Marzia stood ready. As she came closer, Marzia leaned forward with her arms spread, moving to wrap them around Hanabi's waist before her hip attack could land. If she could thus get a hold on her, Marzia would fall back, aiming to swing her opponent overhead into a German suplex!

Hanabi hoped to hit Marzia with her Keijo abilities, but instead she pounded the air. She then looked over her shoulder to see her rival with her arms spread as she looked focused on her. Before the rookie could make more of that display, she felt pressure in her sides,and then she saw her whole word get backwards. Literally.

"G-gah!!!"

Hanabi might not be the most knowledgeable in wrestling moves, but she knew what a German Supplex was, and she put two and two together as she felt the pressure in her back, and she knew that she was at Marzia's mercy while she saw her own legs hanging through her eyesight

Marzia was going to have to act fast in order to get out of the way of Hanabi's charge, the rookie wasting no time in going right back into the action and to turn the momentum to her advantage. But in that moment, the adrenaline in Marzia kicked into gear, and she readied herself to mount a defense. As soon as Hanabi was in range, Marzia was ready to counter, as she snapped her arms into place around the advancing rookie's waist and threw her weight backward!

Clenching her teeth to ride out the aftershocks, Marzia felt the canvas shake under her feet as Hanabi's skull went crashing down into it. But she was sure the pink-haired girl would be even more stunned from the impact, and that left her with the chance to capitalize. Letting go of Hanabi's legs, Marzia turned around to pick her up by her foot, hoisting her leg skyward as she bent back on the joint to put down pressure with an ankle lock! In this way, Marzia hoped to weaken her opponent, leaving her open for further punishment down the line.

Hanabi felt all of the pressuring her skull, the initial impact was still vibrating through her head, so one could understand why she wasn't able to stand up after her foe released her from the hold. Hanabi wanted to lay a little bit, but Marzia had other plans.

Suddenly, the rookie felt a pressure in her leg joints, she knew that her opponent was responsible and she was finished with giving her "begginers advantage", she actually found herself openly moaning because of the lock.

"Aaagh... N-not holding back now... A-are you?"

She wanted to talk a little bit if only to distract her while she crawled for the ropes.

Hanabi may have been in control for a short while, but now the pendulum was swinging back into Marzia's favor - and the Italian was just as content to keep it that way. Wanting to keep the pressure on Hanabi so that it would be harder for her to reclaim the advantage, she targeted her opponent's ankle, lifting it up and pulling back to deepen the torque. She clenched her teeth, her face growing red from the rush of blood within her. Marzia knew she had Hanabi where she wanted her now!

Hearing her opponent's words, Marzia shook her head. "No, no...that's not how I do things-!" She looked back over her shoulder to see Hanabi crawling for the ropes, which made her suck in a breath, tense. The purple-haired girl got a few steps away, but Marzia wasn't about to let her escape so easily, and she only pulled back harder, trying to slow her down.

She thought that she would be able of escaping Marzia's grasp before she noticed it. But Hanabi was proven wrong when her enemy actually pulled her away from the ropes. She thought that the italian girl wasn't a fearsome foe, but she was proven wrong as soon as the more experienced fighter started to dominate the fight.

The sight of the ropes getting away from her grasp made Hanabi slam a fist in the canvas in frustration and in pain. Now she knew that if she wanted to get free she would have to take whatever chance she could get, but for now she would have to endure whatever her opponent had in store for her...

Though Marzia had just managed to narrowly pull Hanabi away from the ropes, preventing the purple-haired girl from claiming a rope break, she knew she didn't have time to relax just yet. She didn't let up, clenching her teeth and steadying her stance as she pulled back some more at Hanabi's ankle, her brow furrowing with a groan. Marzia had to keep her head in the game, and she would give everything her utmost focus, up until the match drew to a close.

She felt the canvas rumble under her off the impact of Hanabi's fist, but Marzia dug her heels into the ground, trying to keep her stance firm and upright. Still, she knew she couldn't hold the position forever; even now, her grip was slowly slipping back down Hanabi's leg. She had to act fast before she was forced to let go - but luckily, she had a plan.

Turning back to face Hanabi, Marzia picked up her other leg, lifting her ankles off the ground. Then, she turned to the side, bending Hanabi's leg inward, and stepped into the gap before falling back down to hold her foe in a figure four leglock, putting even more stress on her joints!

Hanabi thought this couldn't get any worse, again, she was proven wrong when Marzia changed her ankle lock into a figure four leglock. Hanabi was effectively desperate to get out of her predicament. She tried to turn around to be upside down with her arms at full force, she wiggled and shaked violently in hopes of releasing herself from Marzia.
