Jessica Wright vs. Ryuko Yashida

Jessica was standing strong. She thought she had everything made, with Ryuko on the back heel and heading straight towards an attack that Jessica would spring on her for disastrous effect. Only, Thunder Ryuko had different plans for her. The Violent Violet was already halfway through her attack when her opponent launched a surprise shoulder right at her chest.

As if she were shot by a cannon, the Violent Violet went flying backwards, crashing down into the mat.

Ryuko crashed hard into Jessica and nodded to the crowd as she bent down to yank Jessica up by the hair. "Yeah! That is how we do it in Japan!" Ryuko said before grabbing Jessica around the head, holding the waist of her wrestling attire. Ryuko lift Jessica up as if for a delayed vertical suplex, holding her up with one arm while flexing her free arm. Instead of falling backward though Ryuko angled herself straight down to hammer Jessica with a delayed brain buster after showing off, flaunting her own power for the crowd!

Jessica thought that she understood how they did it in Japan. She was no greenhorn when it came to wrestling in the Land of the Rising Sun, having earned herself more than a dozen wins since her arrival at LAW. Most of the women she had faced had been strong, and some of them had been experienced. But now, going against Thunder Ryuko, she became aware of how limited her understanding of how they do it in Japan was thanks to the fact that Jessica was now high in the air.

She blinked. The Violent Violet could hardly believe it. She was hammered down to the mat face first, bouncing for a second before coming to a halt. Usually she was the one dishing out high octane, high power moves. And now when she reckoned with all the pain in her body, she understood the need to keep doing them.

"Yeah!" Ryuko shouted after spiking Jessica's head to the mat. Not wasting any time she wanted to capitalize on this and really take it to Jessica. Sure enough in LAW Jessica was the woman with the more impressive record than Ryuko but the thunder empress was hell bent on showing the gaijin how real women wrestled in Japan.

"Yaaaaahhhh!" Ryuko shouted as she bent down, showing off impressive power by deadlifting Jessica up overhead locking her arms straight as she performed a deadlift gorilla press slam! Once Jessica was up at the apex Ryuko pressed her up and stepped away to allow Jessica to crash hard to the mat. Ryuko would then confidently pin Jessica, laying across her chest and flexing her free arm instead of hooking a leg. "Count it ref!" Ryuko added in a loud shout as the official slid in to place.

"ONE!"

Jessica's world was swimming right now. Above her the lights were shining down, but they all blurred together because of the overwhelming pain in her body. The crowd were cheering loudly as Thunder Ryuko moved to pin her, but all the things that they shouted were muddled because of the pain in her head. There was a body there on the canvas, the body of Jessica Wright, but her tether with reality was fragmented.

TWO!

The ref girl counted.

With that, Jessica kicked out. She still didn't feel as if she were all the way put together yet, but she was coming together enough to kick out. After she broke the pin, she would roll away a bit to make sure that she was alright.

Jessica popped up, and wiped her lip. "Not going down that easy," Jessica growled.

Ryuko muttered under her breath as Jessica kicked out, glaring at Jessica as the two women got back up. "Hmph, you are an annoying defiant cocky gaijin. Nothing more. Americans are all loud mouthed idiots." Ryuko said as she stepped back up looking to plant Jessica with a sharp knee strike to the abdomen followed up by a hard right hook to the jaw! Ryuko was out to wreck Jessica and put her down although the power of the woman was shocking, as well as her toughness. Ryuko wasn't deterred though, as her mission was the same no matter who she faced in the ring.

Jessica was bracing as much as she could. If the situations were reversed, Jessica would be going for an all out attack. The match was still fairly young but Jessica had just been down to the count of two, only one away from sealing her fate for the evening. Just as she thought, the Thunder Empress came charging right at her.

The Violent Violet stepped to the side as Thunder Ryuko threw herself at her. She brought her shoulder forward to try and clothesline her opponent to the ground while she was still off balance.

Ryuko didn't expect Jessica to fight back so forcefully so quickly! She marched right into the trap, getting smashed by the clothesline. "Ugh....." Ryuko groaned as she was sent packing to the mat, laying flat on her back! She kicked the canvas a couple times and coughed as her hands clutched her throat where Jessica's arm smashed into her to send her down once more. Ryuko had the momentum stolen and knew that this was a bad spot given how the match had started!

Jessica was focusing now. Ryuko had just hammered her and gotten a little bit closer to the pin than Jessica would have liked to admit. There was a reason that they called her the Thunder Empress, she knew, but Jessica could not help but feel that she had gotten an entire storm's worth of pain, a fact was being brought up as her body was rocked with pain.

As she saw Ryuko on the ground in front of her, she knew that she would have to press through that. Jessica wanted to go for a vertical suplex, the same that Ryuko had slapped on her, but she knew that it would not be so easy. She would have to soften her opponent up a bit first. Jessica bent to pluck the Wrestle Angel from the ground, and hit her with a devastating atomic drop to get the ball rolling.

Ryuko struggled and fought but Jessica managed to pick her up and send her crashing down for the atomic drop! "Arrrrggghhhhhh!" Ryuko howled as she fell forward, reaching back to rub her tailbone and backside after the impact! To say she was momentarily stunned was a huge understatement. Jessica hit with serious force, packing tons of power. Ryuko was down and stuck, unable to fight back given the pain her body was in as well as the position she found herself in. Things were looking bleak for the thunder empress at this point!
