Mina Takemi vs. Erin Quinn

Despite a rough start, Erin was taking control of the match. She was clearly in her element landing solid blows to Mina's stomach. The whole situation put a wide grin on Erin's face. Now she just had to keep it up and the match was as good as hers. With Mina in rough condition though Erin figured she could spare a moment or two to soak in some of the crowd's enthusiasm. After pausing for a few seconds in the middle of the ring she would turn her head to look down at Mina.

"Hope you came prepared for a beatdown." The redhead teased as she squeezed her arm a bit tighter around her opponent. She would soon let go of Mina so that she could take a step in front of the woman. Once again she would wrap an arm around Mina's neck. This time though her other hand would reach under so that she could try to lift her opponent up. Erin was looking to hoist her foe into the air and go for a vertical suplex. The crowd knew what was coming and roared. "Time to go...UP!" Erin grunted as she tried to lift Mina.

If Erin managed to get Mina into the air she would hold the woman upside down for a few moments. Aside from wanting to let Mina know how she had felt a few minutes prior, she wanted to give the audience a good show. Of course she couldn't hold the older wrestler up forever and soon they would come crashing down.

And so as she attempted to lock Mina in her hold she wasn't particularly careful to watch her opponent's movements. She just thought Mina wouldn't be offering up too much of a fight. Boy was the redhead wrong though. As soon as she turned her back on the woman, Mina would land a precision strike.

Erin suddenly felt a sharp pain in her knee as her opponent landed a hard kick. "Gaaah f...ahh god...DAMN!" She shouted, trying hard to contain the string of profanities that she was about to unleash. The sudden hit had caused her leg to buckle, sending her stumbling forward as she struggled to keep her balance. The redhead would fall into the ropes rather ungracefully and face first, barely catching herself against them. "Nnnng...oww...that really god damn stings." She mumbled as she slowly pulled herself up onto one knee.

While the crowd might have been laughing at a rather comical display of unbalance, Erin was just trying to take the time to nurse her knee and ignore the slight blush forming across her face. That hit would likely leave an annoying bruise later. She decided to ignore Mina's comment and just focus on pulling herself up to her feet with the ropes. She'd deal with the other wrestler soon enough.

"No? Still talking I see?" She shook her head, tsking in disappointment as she watched Erin. It seemed like the attack to her knee was effective. Good. "Then we'll just have to find another way to quiet you down!" Mina declared as she stalked towards the recovering Irish lass.

She shook her head no as slightly as she could in the circumstance. Hoping to make an escape before it was too late, Erin would try and stomp down on her opponent's foot. If she was able to create enough of an opening then the redhead would gather what strength she could muster and try to wrap her arms around Mina before lifting her slightly and tossing her to the side.
