Demona vs. Sakura Haruno (D): Strikers Showdown

"Can't say I wasn't hopeful." Demona said with her casual monotone, though while her voice had not broken past her bored tone her effort was another matter. As Sakura managed to block her kick which forced Demona to press down with more and more pressure. But Sakura kept fighting and fighting showing a strength and heart that had been every bit as admirable to some and bothersome to her.

Then she saw her go for a swipe of the legs.

Demon's face remained neutral but her eyes showed a momentary flash as they widened before she quickly jumped back as she just avoided the leg sweep though had to halt her attack which inevitably granted Sakura a moment of ease to recover.

"You refuse to give up even now, do you still believe you can win?" Demona said, while her tone carried no obvious signs there was a part of her growing annoyed at how much of a pest and how much she had to exert to this point against a "lowly" human.

That leg was crushing down on Sakura, but the pinkette was a feisty woman and refused to give up despite the fact that Demona was gaining the upper hand on her in this battle. This naked demon lady had enough strength to compete with Sakura's chakra enhanced physicality and maybe even overpower it! There were very few people in the world who could do that and while Sakura was clearly putting real effort, Demona's face remained pretty casual throughout the whole ordeal.

Sakura's sweeping kick failed to hit Demona in the legs, but made her retreat, at least, giving enough time for the kunoichi to stand up and take a breath. Sakura could've tried and heal in front of her opponent, but decided to put all of her attention at watching her opponent as. She had a serious look on her face, thinking of ways to fight against this blonde and she came up with a couple of strategies.
Now that we're done with the warm up, we can start fighting for real! Sakura shot back at Demona's implication that Sakura should be at the point of giving up, but Sakura said a hard no to that.
Sakura would reach for her pouch, take out a food pill and swallow it to re-energize herself. She would certainly need that energy as her strategy would be an exhausting one.
She was thinking about aiming for the same spot over and over again. The question was - what part of the body should she be aiming for?

Sakura would remain defensive for a while, waiting for her opponent to make a move, but if her opponent didn't make a move, then Sakura would initiate the next round herself by dashing foward and go for a wide punch aimed for Demona's face.

Demona sighed out in irritation when Sakura proclaimed in a figurative sense that this battle had only just began. For a human to possess the strength she did which rivaled her own as she then watched her consume some sort of pill or something. She assumed it to be some drug, though whatever it was it worked as Sakura seemed invigorated and before Demona decided on what she desired to do next Sakura charged first.

Demona's expression made no obvious shift, apart from her brows which seemed to frown, as she stood her ground she began to ball her hands into a fist as she focused on Sakura who seemed to target her face. This girl was persistent if nothing else, and that bothered the demon to no end as she reared back her own fist before she swung forwad.

Demona fired a power punch that aimed to meet Sakura's own once more, as it seemed destined the two would have yet another clash once more as Demona began to wonder if Sakura's tall talk may be more than just a bluff. Well, she seemed set to find out one way or another...

Filled with determination, Sakura charged at her opponent. Even if her opponent was as strong as that, she wasn't going to waver, she was going to give it her all even if it meant that she was a bloody mess after this was done. Sakura was intent on fixing that facial expression of Demona with a punch to the face, but when she saw Demona mustering a punch to block or maybe even overpower hers, Sakura quickly changed her mind as she knew that if they were in another stalemate, it might allow Demona to go full ham on her again and she knows very well that it is painful.

Sakura was pretty agile, so she ducked under the blonde's fist and if she was lucky, she had her opponent wide open. On that moment, Sakura's target changed from Demona's face to her stomach which was a very open and very welcoming target for Sakura's fist. Sakura would plunge her fist as deep as she could through those ripped abs of hers where she would release the chakra stored in her fist and it would be like an explosion in Demona's stomach, bunt in the form of blunt force. Hopefully this would do something about that facial expression.

If that was successful, Sakura would then wind her fist back before sending another blow aimed to that ripped stomach of her opponent to try and soften it some more. Though, this was all part of Sakura's bigger strategy.
Why don't YOU give up, instead?!! The kunoichi would shout out with the second blow.

Demona had expected another up close and personal fist to fist clash, one she'd try to win and show her dominance over this human in the hopes she'd finally get the message. Unfortunately this proved to be too simplistic a mindset as the ninja proved a step crafty as she just ducked under Demona's own punch and the Demon's expression did change as her eyes widened in realization.

This...was not gonna be good.

A violent cough escaped Demona's fists as a shockwave shot through her body as Sakura landed a clean punch right into her toned abs which caused her significant pain. Something that only became worse when she was struck again with a follow up punch as she was sent flying back and Sakura had the gull to even tease her with a "witty" quip to boot as she groaned trying to stand back up though for the first time she was the one that had been pressured in this fight.

Sakura proved that she was not only strong, she was agile. She did this by instead of clashing fist to fist with Demona, she ducked under it and socked the demon in the gut instead. She backed her hand to deliver another mighty blow to the same spot, breaking that ''I don't give a fuck'' kind of look that was on Demona's face the entire time and sending her flying.

Sakura was feeling pretty damn good with herself now, she was having a really hard time up until now, but she wasn't a fool, she knew she had to press her advantage after giving herself such an opportunity. So, the kunoichi would proceed by dashing at her opponent again and with some luck, she would continue pummeling Demona in the stomach.

If it wasn't obvious enough already, Sakura was targeting Demona's stomach on purpose for a while now. In this fight, she quickly realized how tough Demona was, so she decided to focus all of her damage to a single area instead of spreading it all over Demona's body. The invention of basic weapons was all about putting all of the force to a single point - the very basics of a sword or a knife, or most any other weapons, really.

As Demona worked to recover from the blow that broke her melancholy expression as her eyes widened slightly as the kunoichi seemed eager to not given any rest for the weary; this whole thing had gone from a frustrating chore to now the rather unfortunate reality that this girl had meant business.

She was a threat, and this had to be accounted for now.

Demona worked to mount a defense, as red sparks flashed around her darkened coating as the body tattoo seemed to shift positions. Quickly it all moved to concentrate around the precise target spot of the body as it seemed to harden almost as if becoming an armored coating around Demona's skin as Sakura's fists would soon meet it.

The punches in the spot showed no visible damage, as shockwaves blasted from her body as the darkness absorbs the blows and Demona remains standing still. Though while the consecutive punches don't seem to do damage she does feel the vibrations the darkness fails to absorb and in this defensive state cannot use her blackened arm to attack but it had left her bare arm free.

With a swing, she aimed to try and smack as Sakura's face to get the kunoichi stunned or even force her back to break the attack while her demonic "armor" held.

After sending the opponent flying, Sakura rushed in to continue and focus on battering her torso, but after a bit, the kunoichi noticed that it neither hurt or moved Demona. Then she noticed something black covering the area where she was punching. That clearly must be it, she thought.
Her train of thoughts got interrupted when she saw Demona's punch flying at her.

With a gasp, Sakura would stop punching and start ducking in addition to her own hand going up to try and deflect the blow somewhat. If that was enough to avoid the blow, Sakura would make one step forward and unleash a right uppercut from below, aiming for Demona's chin. Let's see if you can protect your entire body, then!

Demona fired her bare fist strike, but as he did Sakura not only managed to duck which forced her to alter her aim but a free hand slapped at it which knocked her path to just graze Sakura's chin doing no damage beyond it much to her own frustration; though these feelings were kept to internal expression only.

As Sakura fired her uppercut, Demona would be unable to alter her dark tattoo to cover the spot and as such had to avoid it as she worked to do a backflip as the punch would hopefully just pass by the chin not touching it.

As Demona jumped back, she would attempt to try and perform a backflip kick as she tired to combined evasion with a counter blow in one swoop motion aiming for Sakura's own chin in kind with her stiff bare foot.

Seeing that Demona was focused on protecting one area, Sakura decided to strike somewhere else and that somewhere else was the opponent's chin. However, the uppercut barely missed as Demona's face retreated. It was a backflip and so Sakura ate a kick to the chin from below as Demona jumped back and Sakura was forced to retreat a few step from the kick. Ughh!

When she recovered, Sakura wiped her lip with the back of her hand. Sakura was pretty bruised and battered, clothes torn up here and there, but she was still as feisty as ever and she got a bit of an idea, but she wasn't sure if it would work out for her. Well, basically she wanted to see if she could put Demona to the ground and wrestle her there. Your abs couldn't take it, huh? Sakura would taunt, trying to get Demona to come to her.
