Tag Team worldcup

Hey to all was thinking about that idea for a while now, with the first Tag Team championship match slowly coming to an end I would like to start this idea, trying to bring something new to law and give some life to the tag team scene.
So the basic Idea:
The determination matches: Each team will take part in X Determination matches.(When there are only a few teams taking part in this tournment every team will be facing every team, if there is a big number of teams we will do swiss rounds) These matches will be put together by drawing numbers. These matches are with a strict time limit of maybe 5-7 minutes. (This will be limited by number of posts as well as an actual time limit how long the match is going for now). Two teams face off against each other, normal rules for the match. When one team scores a pin or submission fall the match is over and the winning team gains 3 points and the loser team gains 0. If the time runs out before the match is over both teams gain 1 point no matter how the match went until the bell rung. (These matches will be mostly done off side using a way that will be worked out until then, the results of the matches should also stay more or less secret until the end)

Finals: the Two Teams with the most points from the Determination matches square off against each other in a match without time limit for the world cup and the prize money.

Who wins the signal matches is either up to discussion between the two role-players or it will be a pre booked tournament with an early picked winner. (maybe be my maybe by the og winner winner)

I'm interested too but do have some questions. Like when this going to happened? As I don't have a tag team yet, just wrestlers I could have tag together for this. Is it just women? And is it possibly to ask if you could change the time limit to 15 or 20 minutes?

Yes tagging together two wrestlers does work fine, you just have to remember during their matches that they aren´t used to working together.
No it would also allow mixed tag teams.
Why do you want to increase the time limit to 15 or 20 mintues?
normally a match takes about 10 minutes and i want the time pressure to be feelable in the match, anturally you don´t have to finish your matches within 7 actuall minutes, just in "game" minutes.

Well, can it be ten minutes then? And I do understand that you are not saying to finish the match within seven minutes in actual time. But still that is a quite short time to give teams to win against another team that probably has good teamwork. But you don't have to if you don't wanna. Just a friendly suggestion. And also since the tournament is going to have point system, does that means is will be round robin?

i explained about whats up with the points system and that the teams would face each other in the determination matches. And the two teams with the most points will go to the final round.

Kind of... it doesn´t have to be everyoen vs everyone though depending on how many people join

OK so if it doesn't became every team vs every team, how are you going to give out matches to where everyone has a chance to go the finals?

when too many people are intersted it would be too many matches for everyone vs everyone.

And the matches will be set up with luck everyoen gets the same number of matches, so everyone ahs the same chance of winning points.
