Yoko managed to get into the main PPV at last, not only that, but the main card, no less. To make things even better, it was against her good frenemy and rival Kyoko Akan! At this point, one could say this was a bit of a chance in scenery for Yoko, since Yoko was getting more bedroom matches than any other type. Speaking of bedroom matches, Yoko had managed to snatch a very hard victory from Kyoko in their bedroom encounter, but now it was more Kyoko's turf than Yoko's. Regardless, Yoko did not lose heart, she knew she can defeat Kyoko.
The funny thing, the two came up with this match pretty much completely on a whim and now this was a big deal here. Maybe her victory over Kyoko in the bedroom match made the officials see Yoko as a legit rival for Kyoko and decided to profit from it...
As random as it was, this match was of great importance for Yoko. The two were technically a team now, but Kyoko's arrogant attitude had to be addressed and dealt with. Yoko needed to show Kyoko who's boss and make Kyoko treat her as a partner rather than a sidekick and comic relief... Even if winning against the arrogant ex-queen didn't prove much, maybe some alone time at Kyoko's place would be a better argument...
Now about the match. Yoko was psyching herself up for the big match backstage while Kyoko was making her big entrance. She did some shadow boxing and speaking of boxing, let's say Yoko's more proficient at it now than she was the last time they fought thanks to a certain someone...
Finally it was Yoko's turn to come out and Yoko theme bursted through the speakers.
To Yoko's surprise, the crowd bursted into cheers for the other queen of this match as she entered the scene. Yoko couldn't help but smile as she made her way down the ramp, on her bike. Damn, that was the most appreciation she has ever gotten in her entire life and she would lie if she said that it didn't move her emotionally. Yoko quickly decoded the situation here. People were cheering for her, blowing kisses at her and chanting things like ''Kick Kyoko's ass!''. On the other hand, she remembers hearing boos for Kyoko even while the redhead was backstage. This was pretty cliche - we have a clear ''hero'' and a clear ''villain'' here, there were no gray areas here. Add the strange history Yoko and Kyoko share and you basically get the typical anime fight between the hero and the anti-hero. This was probably what made this match interesting.
Near the ring, she got off her bike, her rifle around her shoulder like always and there was one more thing that would probably rustle Kyoko's jimmies even if it shouldn't - unlike Kyoko, Yoko was wearing a belt over her other shoulder, the bedroom champion belt. That would probably remind Kyoko that she didn't have hers. It was only partly intentional by Yoko, because the other part was mandatory as it was mandatory for a champion to bring their champion belts to their matches.
As Yoko slid into the ring, the ref still felt a little uneasy about the rifle, but to make life easier for the ref, Yoko gave, or rather unloaded all of her stuff onto the ref - like her rifle, her belt, her scarf, her glasses, her jacket...
There you go... Yoko would say nonchalantly to the ''loaded'' ref who'd then walk out of the ring for some time to put all the stuff to a safe place.
Yoko would use this time to approach her frenemy and say hello to her.
Hi there, How are you holding up, Kyoko? She would say after she had approached the ex-belly queen and stood with her face to face. Yoko would then extend her hand towards Kyoko for a handshake.
No hard feelings, I hope?
