Failure to communicate- Lex vs Amelia!

Marlee's eyes fell upon Amelia. The girl was clearly exhausted from the match, and looked more than a little baffled at Marlee's surprise entrance to the ring. The curvy Kiwi wasn't in a particularly sympathetic mood, however. Seeing Lex take the wrong end of that beating had ignited a spark of anger she didn't know was there. There was something about Lex that she just couldn't shake off.

And Amelia was going to pay for it.

Diving forward before the woman could gather any of her remaining strength, Marlee twisted Amelia round so that the girl stood with her back to the New Zealander. Then she wrapped an arm around the other wrestler's neck, bending Amelia backwards.

"Keep your hands, and your lips, to yourself!" she hissed, before dropping back and smashing Amelia's head into the canvas with her Reverse DDT finisher that ought to leave the girl out for the count.

With both cheers and boos erupting from the crowd at her conduct, Marlee scrambled upright, glaring down at the woman for a moment before loping over to where Lex lay, a confused expression plastered on his face.

"C'mon, Lexy boy," she said stooped down and scooping the battered genius up in her strong arms. "We've got a lot to talk about."

Amelia was helpless before the angry and fresh wrestler who was now bearing down on her. She had already been put through so much, and now she was about to go through more. Again, she begged the question of 'Why?' Even as Marlee gave her that answer, Amelia failed to see how any of that was her fault. She was clearly the victim in this whole ordeal. But her pleading fell on deaf ears.

One reverse DDT later, and Amelia was flattened into the mat, tears still rolling down her cheeks. The crowd's reaction was somewhat mixed, but the majority of them were sending boos towards the offender in the ring. Many of them were not happy to see Amelia be hurt so much after the match she just had, regardless of the entertainment level they might have had from said match.

But that would probably be the least of Marlee's worries. No sooner had she made her way over to Lex did two more girls come barreling down the ramp at lightning speeds. As she picked him up, both girls slid into the ring. The taller girl, dressed in orange, directed the smaller one, dressed in green, to go and tend to Amelia, and then directed her attention back to Marlee.

"Who do you think you are, attacking Amelia like that?! After what she was just put through?! What did she ever do to you?!"

It was pretty clear that Satsuki was extremely irate by what Marlee had just done, and it seemed like she had no intention of letting the offender just walk away from this.

Marlee glared at the newcomers, oblivious to their familial comradery. The buxom New Zealander stood her ground, locking eyes with Satsuki, with Lex still clutched in her arms. The crimson-eyed genius was barely responsive right now, and she wanted him out of this ring.

"After what she was put through?" Marlee scoffed. "I watched that match too and I don't think your little gal-pal's the only one who needs looking after. Lexy and I have got some unfinished business, and I need him in one piece for that." Her eyes moved over the three girls in the ring. "If you've got something to settle with me, I'm afraid you'll have to wait. Look me up - Marlee Jackson."

Hugging Lex closer, she took a step towards Satsuki, her eyes narrowing into a glare of challenge "Now I don't know who the hell you are, and I don't really care. Either stop me or get out of my way."

Marlee stepped forward in an effort to intimidate the CG leader, but Satsuki wasn't backing down.

"Are you blind? Anyone with even decent eyesight could see that Amelia was the victim in whole ordeal. Couldn't you see the fear on her face? Couldn't you see how much she was suffering from what he did? And then you came in and made it worse! That asshole you are carrying hurt my friend, and you just exacerbated the issue."

Satsuki already felt a hatred for this girl starting to form. But, there was still a chance this girl could redeem herself.

"So, you are going to turn around and apologize to Amelia for what you did, sincerely. Once you've done that, you and your scumbag boy-toy can leave."

The girl in orange held firm, with the full intention to keep this girl here until she fulfilled what Satsuki demanded. Any attempt to leave the ring before that would be blocked.

Marlee rolled her eyes at the woman's bleeding heart tirade, remaining unsympathetic to Amelia's plight.

"Oh, grow up!" she scoffed incredulously. "Did you and you little friend forget where you are? This is LAW, lady. If you can't handle it, that's not my problem. And while you're whining about it, she did win, unless you've forgotten. So no, I'm not apologizing to anyone, for anything." She took another step forward, Lex clutched protectively into her breast and fixing Satsuki with a vicious glare.

"If that's not good enough for you, I'm more than happy to settle this another time. Until then, maybe you should just look after your friend since she's apparently so damn fragile." And with that, the Kiwi heavyweight stepped toward attempting to shoulder her way past Satsuki and slide Lex out of the ring to safety, her pulse pounding as she fought the urge to just drop his limp body and lay the orange-clad girl out on the canvas.

Satsuki's anger grew. She wanted nothing more than to tear into this insensitive woman and show her just how wrong she was for hurting the orange girl's friend.

But Marlee had brought up a good point too. As much as Satsuki wanted to rip this girl a new one, she equally wanted to check on her friend. Beating up Marlee right now wouldn't do Amelia any good. All it would do is satisfy Satsuki's anger. There would be time later to settle this mess. Perhaps a future match was in order? Either way, reason came to Satsuki. Against her burning desires, she let Marlee and the asshole she was carrying pass, then made her way over to the tall CG to check on her.

The crowd was still sending boos into the center of the arena, although what they were booing exactly would remain a mystery to the five wrestlers and one referee in that area. For now, it seemed like this short chapter had come to a close. Will it escalate from here, or will it peter out? Only time will tell.
