Toshiko stopped when Viviana did, giving her a curious look as she went on to try explaining the game to her. She canted her head... And then immediately went wide-eyed in worry when she insinuated the result of failure. "What!?" she exclaimed in concern.
Then, when Viviana laughed, she looked relieved herself! The Japanese woman sighed, no longer concerned, and smiled slightly at her friend, putting a hand to her chest. "That was funny! You had me worried! I'm... certain I will figure it out," she said, trying her best to sound confident despite her not being too understanding of less-than-practical activities.

Re: Showing a Fun Time (for Devilish53)
With a near constant gleam to her face, it wasn't long before Viviana and Toshiko found themselves across a local arcade. With a sparsely populated side filled with typical arcade games, claw machines and the like, Viviana looked up to the entrance to the over-18's side of things, before looking back down at perhaps the most ill-sized bouncer she'd seen in her life. Then again, she was hardly expecting some behemoth to be working a casual 24/7 arcades.
"Dr Accera, MD.." Viviana jibed Toshiko with her elbow as she joked, flashing her Italian drivers licence at the bouncer not that he even opted to ask. Expecting Toshiko to follow suite without a hitch, Viviana's eyes laid on to what was a more traditionally casino-esque setting, over the flashing lights and blazing video game shooter sounds she had heard from next door.

Re: Showing a Fun Time (for Devilish53)
Toshiko looked around at the arcade with a small bit of wonder, pausing in her walking. She hadn't ever been inside one before. The bright lights. The loud noises. The colorful videos and machines. It was all overwhelming to the sheltered Japanese girl. And all she could do was smile, at least until she realized Viviana was walking away from her. She trotted behind her again and then paused, listening to her introduction. She went to oppose it, questioning her obviously bogus credentials, before she started to dig into her own purse for her things, biting her lip until the smaller bouncer waved her on, much to her relief.
She would then follow behind Toshiko, her eyes wandering around the arcade again before she absently asked, "Should... I also pretend to be someone else, Viviana?" She questioned it, thinking on it as she looked around, and ultimately bumped directly behind her friend, offering her an apologetic look.

Re: Showing a Fun Time (for Devilish53)
Before Toshiko would even be given time to be ushered in, she'd find the hand of Viviana practically stretching from within the arcade itself, to clutch at her shoulder and pull her in. All the while Viviana's muttered something along the lines of 'get in here.'
"No...Tosh Tosh is fine..." Viviana spoke absent mindedly, as she looked around. She'd been in arcades before, many in fact. But this many people at this hour? She was definitely taken aback. At an absolute minimum, the casino part of the arcade was half full.
"Do...you wanna do some practice games?" She'd hum, eyeing up perhaps the only available machine in a line of busy patrons, that to what she could tell, was running a game of blackjack. Though, they would be practice only in the sense that the games would not be against a live dealer.

Toshiko was yanked forward by Viviana, and she almost made a move at her instinctively before relaxing herself. Her eyes wide again when she looked around at all the noises and lights. She would then smile and set her gaze at the machines in question. Clutching her purse in front of her, she looked around, able to hide most of her nervousness, but not all of it.
"...Yes, Viviana. We should practice first. Can you show me how to use it though?" asked the Japanese fighter tentatively, a hopeful expression on her face. She would then take another look around, pursing her lips slightly. "There are many people here for how late it is," mentioned Toshiko, giving Viviana a more serious look. "Should I be vigilant?" asked the young woman.

Re: Showing a Fun Time (for Devilish53)
"Mhm...Yeh..." Viviana muttered, this time without a tone of sarcasm or humour. They were here for fun, but that didn't mean everyone else was. A couple of young, slightly drunken women walking into anywhere at a late hour would be enough to attract the attention of any man, or perhaps even woman, with devious intent. With her innocent friend in two, Viviana was having none of it.
Though that wouldn't detract from her focus, as she shuffled both hands to Toshiko's back to gently nudge her friend into the seat in front of the electronic game of blackjack, before sliding in a few notes she had left over from the bar to give her friend some balance to work with.
"Okay...so...you just have to get as close to 21 as you can. Don't go over, because you instantly lose, but don't go too low. If the dealer, the one giving out the cards..." Viviana's finger extended to tap on the screen at said dealer, given there was evidently no real person involved in this electronic variant. "..Gets better than you, you lose. But if you get closer to 21..you win!"

Re: Showing a Fun Time (for Devilish53)
Toshiko nodded firmly. She could be vigilant, even with her in a slight stupor. Her natural state was absolute vigilance to always be ready. It was what she was taught and she took it very seriously. And if Viviana was telling her to stay alert...
Before she could think on it too hard, she stumbled forward from the light shove and then promptly flopped into the stool in front of the machine, looking it over in mild wonder. Ito listened to her friend in silence, trying to gather the rules. Taking it seriously, perhaps more than any girl should, Toshiko then spoke up after it clicked. "It is combat through basic math," she stated plainly, reaching out to begin the game, almost jerking her hand back at every touch of the screen like it might jump out at her. She arched a brow and then mentioned, "I don't know how much a jack is worth." She had known cards, but nothing about the game at hand.

Re: Showing a Fun Time (for Devilish53)
Viviana raised her hand to her mouth, hiding a little yet rather obvious laugh at the statement of combat math. She knew not to throw a joke now, given there was money at stake, even if it was her own after initially setting her friend up.
"Oh..Oh!" Viviana exclaimed, as she somehow began to recall the rules of the game rather quickly, with her finger pointing to the screen.
"Ten! So is a king...so is a queen!" She'd nod in rapid fashion, whilst maintaining eye contact amidst rapid taps upon the screen.

Re: Showing a Fun Time (for Devilish53)
Toshiko Ito stared at the computer screen as Viviana explained the value of the cards to her. And then she stared... and she stared... and she stared some more, an analytical expression on her face. It might have taken so long because she was slightly inebriated, or because she was taking it extremely seriously, but she stayed silent until she came to her conclusion.
"There is no solution," the Japanese girl stated plainly, crossing her arms as she looked up at Viviana. "If I take another card, I might lose. This game is impossible to predict success. You gave me a game that I cannot win for certain," stated Toshiko bluntly, with absolute sincerity behind her words and an expression to match.

"Well...yeh..!" Viviana put her hand to her shoulder whilst the other pointed to the screen, as if adopting the posture of a professor giving a student advice. "If it was a certain win game, you wouldn't be able to bet on it, would you? Because you'd just hold all your money until you could certainly win..."
Turning back to Toshiko as she waved about the screen, Viviana gave a big grin.
"You just have to get as close to it as you can, and have fun doing it! I'm not expecting us to be walking out of here with millions in the bank after all!"
