Peggy McIntyre vs. Megumi Mutoh

"Oomph!" Peggy groaned as she fell back, landing on her backside. She was still close to Megumi who now loomed over her. Peggy coiled her legs close before exploding out in an attempt to surprise Megumi with a hard mule kick to the abdomen with both her legs! It wasn't pretty but Peggy hoped it would be effective at least!

[Arjuna]

Sending Peggy down onto the mat by pulling her legs from under her, Megumi would try to capitalize on this, hoping to deal some damage on her opponent. But before she could do anything to her opponent, she took a mule kick into her body, and she grunted as she staggered back, pulling herself away from Peggy.

This thwarted her effort to take advantage of Peggy's current situation. Bringing her hand on her stomach, Megumi would watch as she maintained her distance from her opponent, waiting for her to get herself back up.

Peggy tried to get back to her feet as quickly as she could. She kept her gaze focused on Megumi and again moved in. This time she just tried to send a couple hard body punches into the abdomen of Megumi before rearing back with a big forearm smash to the chest! She was determined to take Megumi down....

[Arjuna]

When she saw Peggy coming towards her, Megumi would step back in order to distance herself from her opponent, though she still took some punches into her abdomen, eliciting grunts of pain from her. When she saw Peggy rearing her arm back for a forearm smash, she would carefully watch her opponent swing her arm before she weaved herself out of her way, avoiding the forearm smash.

"Yahhhh!!!" Yelling out, Megumi would thrust out her hand, looking to deliver a palm strike aimed at Peggy's face, looking to push her head back, which she planned to follow with a straight kick into her abdomen.

Peggy just couldn't seem to get going and again found herself taking the worst of an exchange! She struck home but the palm strike and kick to her abdomen left her stumbling and falling down to the mat on her knees! She waved and bobbed about her head swimming while one arm cradled her abdomen while she was on the mat.

Thanks to her palm strike to the face and straight kick to the abdomen, Megumi managed to get Peggy down onto her knees. Now that her opponent in a perfect position to attack, Megumi would move away from Peggy, running towards the ropes before rebounding from them, returning back to where her opponent was.

"Take this!" Megumi yelled as she would attempt to use her momentum to attack Peggy with a running knee strike to her head, looking to send her backwards after smashing her knee into her forehead, knocking her down with the attack.

Peggy's stumble and failure to land good offense to Megumi continued and seemed to culminate as Megumi successfully hammered her head with the knee strike! "Uuuggghhhhhhh..." Peggy groaned as she limply fell back, landing flat on her back and looking up with a vacant expression on her face. She appeared to be dead weight, soft mass laid out on the canvas after the devastating knee strike by Megumi! Peggy was conscious and the only thing she felt aside from throbbing pain in her head was embarrassment at just how awfully she had begun this match but right now there was very little she could do about it!

Driving her knee into Peggy's forehead, Megumi huffed as she looked down at her opponent. Thinking that she could try her luck and see if she could win from this, she would then move down and drape herself over her opponent's body, going for the cover as she would hook one of her legs for the pin. As she did so, the referee would come over and start counting for the pin, slapping the mat as she get herself on her knees next to both wrestlers.

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

Early on in the match Peggy was already down and out! Peggy was motionless as the three count seemed to be coming only to thrust her shoulder up at the last second to break the pin! Peggy groaned and gasped for breath trying to shove Megumi off of her so she could try to roll away.

Of course it wouldn't work this early. When the count reached two, Peggy kicked out of the pin, and Megumi was shoved away by her. Megumi huffed out as she picked herself up, getting onto her knees and looking at the direction of her opponent. Thinking that her opponent might get away, she would get herself up onto her feet before she walked over to her, following her before bending down in order to grab her, preventing her from moving away.

Though she didn't get her back onto her feet as she would drive her elbow into her back in order to send her back down onto the mat. Megumi planned to make sure that her opponent wouldn't get enough space to recover as she would keep her momentum going.
