Undercard Battle Hikaru vs. Gambit

Hikaru was geared up to wrestle again, and it had been quite a while since she was in the ring. Her classes were going well, much better than her wrestling career was at the moment. However she was determined to make the most of her opportunity tonight! The happy young woman was cheery as usual, and driven. She was going to come out on top tonight! At least that is what she told herself despite her record was at the moment. That wasn't going to deter Hikaru though.

Clad in her yellow and black one piece swimsuit, boots as well as kneepads Hikaru was ready. She was in the gorilla position before her music began to play and she came out into the arena to a modest cheer. The crowd didn't dislike her but she wasn't a huge draw. Still it was nice to know she had at least a few fans out there! Hikaru waved to the crowd and smiled to them as she nodded each way, walking towards the ring with purpose. She walked up the ring steps and climbed through the ropes, bouncing on her feet as she waited for Gambit to arrive.

*Despite not having too many wins to boast about, Gambit was pumped to be stepping into the ring once again. Tightening her boots as she finished her typical routine of getting prepared for the evening's exhibition bout, she gave the adjacent mirror one, final passing glance.* "That's the look of a champion!" *She declared, bounding through the threshold and down the hallway. She made haste towards the opaque curtain, centimeters away from it as she froze in place while waiting for her music to drop.*

*Once it did, she stepped into the public eye to a favorable response from the audience; it wasn't as boisterous or exciting as she had hoped, but then again, she didn't have the most impressive record either. Regardless, she skipped towards the ring with a spry pep in her step, scaling the metallic steps before leaping over the highest rope.* "You ready to taste defeat, pinky?" *She pointed towards her adversary, gesturing with her finger for her to attempt the first move. Her voice lacked any form of malice, but rather, relied upon confidence and determination to help set the tone of the brawl!*

Hikaru watched Gambit come out and the woman certainly seemed confident as was evident in her words to Hikaru.

"You will not be able to take me lightly and win, I do hope you are ready for me!" Hikaru answered as she crouched low, ready for the bell to ring. Hikaru heard the bell and circled Gambit, eager to see how she moved. After looking her over Hikaru loved in trying to tie up Gambit in a grapple!

*Feeling an unprecedented level of energy surging through her body, Gambit stepped in and willingly engaged in a mutual tie up to try and gauge Hikaru's physical strength!*

"Nngh..n..not bad..." *She remarked, beginning to feel herself initially struggle against the pinkette before swiftly transitioning into a side headlock.* "But if that's all you can do, then you can forfeit this match right here and now!"

Hikaru groaned as she was stuck in a headlock, tugging away at Gambits arm in a fruitless effort to try to free herself. Hikaru tried to shove Gambit away but at the moment she was totally stuck in her opponents grasp! Hikaru grunted, stomping and stepping in place as her struggle to free herself continued but she was not getting anywhere as the headlock stayed secure.

*Twisting her fluffy bunny body sideways while simultaneously dragging her captive down along with her, Gambit was adamant on attempting to cripple Hikaru early on in their scuffle; if she somehow managed to inflicting a debilitating amount of damage upon the unsuspecting combatant, then perhaps it would be impossible for her to fully recuperate!*

"Now, do me a favor and go down!" *The relentless rabbit demanded, dropping her weight towards the canvas while shifting her lock against Hikaru's throat, trying to kick her legs out from under her to assert her dominance early on into the fray! If this choke proved to be successful, then the pinkette would have an uphill battle waiting for her!*

This was bad... Hikaru was still stuck while Gambit was bringing her towards the mat! However Hikaru had an idea to escape. She tried to stick her leg out and twisted her body in order to hip toss Gambit over her waist and send her to the canvas! Hikaru would fall with her but she hoped that the impact of the landing would lead to Gambit letting go of her choking headlock allowing Hikaru to breathe normally again! Hikaru was off to a poor start but hoped that things would turn around.

*Attempting to showboat to the capacity crowd while simultaneously keeping her captive caught in her strangulating grasp, Gambit felt Hikaru begin to fidget and squirm, deliberately trying to make things difficult on her!* "H..hey! Knock it off down there!" *She screamed, realizing that her submission hold was slowly starting to lose its integrity, until it was completely broken by her adversary's impromptu motion!*

"Waaah!" *Staggering backwards from the initial sensation, Gambit plopped backwards onto her cottontail with a puzzled expression plastered across her face.* "W..what the hell just happened?" *She muttered aloud, feeling a slight sting in her derriere after having bounced her posterior off of the mat.*

Hikaru was free and now trying to take advantage somehow. She opted to go easy at first, keeping things basic. As Gambit rose to her feet she moved in, grabbing an arm and twisting behind Gambit onto put her in a hammer lock! Hikaru wanted to see what the technical ability of her opponent was!

*Still shaken up from the previous tumble she had taken, Gambit was in no position to resist what diabolical maneuver Hikaru had up her sleeve. Suddenly, the irked hare felt her arm wrenched backwards, causing her to shriek from the sensation while trying to mitigate the damage however she could!*

"Hhnggh..g..get y..your hands..o..off of me!" *She shouted, her body ubiquitously tingling as a plan started to develop in her mind. Attempting to catch a glimpse of her aggressor over her shoulder, Gambit would throw her opposite elbow directly into Hikaru's midsection, refusing to remain sedentary for too long!*
