Bethany thought that she would make it as the referee continued counting unhindered. She smiled, thinking that her victory was imminent, but when the referee was about to finish counting, the official stopped and said that Naomi had moved her leg onto the rope, much to Bethany's chagrin.
"Oh, come on, now!" Bethany complained as she got herself up. She didn't argue with the referee despite being displeased by this turn of event. Thinking that her opponent was weakened enough, she decided that the win would have to wait for later as she would get herself back onto her feet, preparing herself to attack Naomi once she was on her feet.

Re: Bethany Hunter vs. Naomi Fujimoto - Powering Forward
Naomi managed to just escape defeat, but as she groaned when she worked to crawl to the ropes it was clear it was by a hair's breath and she still felt the force of Bethany's offensive as she needed someway, somehow to turn this around so she could recover and go back on the attack. As she doubted Bethany would allow the ropes to save her again if it came to that.
Slowly, she made her way up to her feet against the ropes seemingly vulnerable to whatever Bethany had in mind.

Re: Bethany Hunter vs. Naomi Fujimoto - Powering Forward
Bethany kept watching as Naomi rose back up onto her feet, and as soon as her opponent was back on her feet, she would try to make her next move. She would launch herself forward, extending her arm to her side, preparing herself to hit her opponent with a lariat as she would swing her arm right across Naomi's upper chest.
If it was successful, she would try to use her lariat to take Naomi over the top rope, sending her out of the ring, crashing down onto the floor outside, which would deal a massive damage on her.

Re: Bethany Hunter vs. Naomi Fujimoto - Powering Forward
As Naomi made it to her rather shaky feet against the ropes, Naomi had little time to catch her bearings as Bethany charged once more as Naomi caught a glimpse of what she presumed with a charge as she aimed to try and take Naomi over the ropes with a clothesline.
Naomi in turn had little means to defend herself, so she adopted the only one she could think of. She fell back on the ground and tugged at the top rope to pull it down hoping she could use Bethany's own momentum against her and make her fall to the outside.

Re: Bethany Hunter vs. Naomi Fujimoto - Powering Forward
Bethany was determined to take her opponent out of the ring by sending her over the top rope with a lariat that she was unable to stop when Naomi fell down and pulled the top rope down, and as a result, her own momentum sent her tumbling out of the ring. "Uwahhh!!!" She cried out as she ended up falling down to the floor outside the ring, and she landed harshly. "UGH!!!"
Thanks to her failed attack and her harsh landing, she ended up a twitching heap outside the ring, with her moaning in pain. Now that Bethany was outside, the referee started counting her out, and if she didn't want to lose via countout, then she would need to return back into the ring before the count of ten.
"ONE!"

Re: Bethany Hunter vs. Naomi Fujimoto - Powering Forward
Naomi would pant a bit, still fatigued from her earlier blows Bethany had given her so she crawled over to the bottom corner closest to where Bethany had been dumped as she sat and would use the time Bethany needed to get back in to catch her own breath. This was an opening to recover and she aimed to make the most of every second she would get.
Though carefully, her gazed even as she tried to get in air never left her opponent. All the while the referee continued her work and continued to manage the count of the downed wrestler outside.
"TWO!"

Re: Bethany Hunter vs. Naomi Fujimoto - Powering Forward
Bethany was outside the ring at the moment after her failed attempt to do the same to her opponent earlier. Thanks to her fall, her body was hurting, and she ended up slumping on the floor outside. Groaning in pain, she would try to push herself up, though her recovery was too slow for her liking. Shaking her head as she began to push herself on all four, she would then move closer to the apron so that she could get into the ring easily after this.
"THREE!"
"Ergh..." Then, Bethany would reach up to grab onto the apron in order to pull herself up. Her body felt heavy, and as she pulled herself up, she buckled under her weight. From the look of it, she might need a while before she could move herself back into the ring, and her opponent might be able to take advantage of this if she was quick enough.

Re: Bethany Hunter vs. Naomi Fujimoto - Powering Forward
Those two elongated seconds had been enough for Naomi to, at the very least, catch her breath which she badly needed after Bethany's earlier offensive. Though as she worked her up up to the corner before the end of the count of 3 she noted the fall seemed to have taken a toll on her a she climbed up the apron but struggled to get back into the ring.
And that was something she could take advantage of.
While not the overly athletic type, she did have a trick or two she could pull on occasion. And this seemed to fit well as she caught her breath before she moved against the opposite ropes from Bethany and used them for momentum as she aimed to try and slide with a baseball slide to strike Bethany and seize this new opening.

Re: Bethany Hunter vs. Naomi Fujimoto - Powering Forward
Bethany was still outside the ring, trying hard to pull herself up so that she could roll back into the ring. Leaning against the apron, she would try to catch her breath, but it seemed that Naomi saw an opening here as she went towards the opposite ropes before launching herself towards where Bethany was. When she got closer, she slid on the mat, hitting Bethany with a baseball slide, smacking her feet against her head!
"UWGH!!"
Bethany's head recoiled back as she was hit by her opponent's move. She lost her grip on the apron as she fell backwards before hitting the floor with her back. Writhing in pain, she held onto her head, seemingly in pain. Due to her still outside the ring, the referee continued the count-out, and if she didn't return into the ring, she would end up losing.

Re: Bethany Hunter vs. Naomi Fujimoto - Powering Forward
Naomi connected with the baseball slide, though that move caused her to pant as she still tried to fully recover from the earlier blows and fatigue Bethany caused. She could have taken this chance to take the count out victory, but even if Naomi was a bit of a flirt and in spite of some questionable past tactics she was not one to take something so cheap.
So Naomi worked to try and pick Bethany up, and if successful she'd try to toss her back into the ring to try to break the count. Though with the momentum she hoped it would carry over strong and this would not be a mistake move to make.
