The SWAT Cats (c) vs The Ashford Family - LAW World Tag Team Championship Match

It was a critical point in the match. Although both Ashford Sisters were currently sidelined at ringside, Toni Ashford had made the save, keeping the challenging team's shot at the titles alive and well! The crowd chanted for The SWAT Cats as Katherine and Tracy both took their place in the corner. The pink and purple luchadoras tiptoed with excitement on the balls of their feet! Kat and Tracy extended their arms over the top rope! Their gloves palms were available for Aurora to make the tag!

Meanwhile, in the ring, little Aurora was in a precarious yet hopeful situation! Dana had taken a ton of tandem offense! A case could be made for her likely having been defeated by The Cat's teamwork had it not been for the interference of her bikini-clad daughter! Everyone in the arena got the feeling that with just one more push, one more big move from the champions, they could close this out and barely cling on to their championships!

"Ngh....Rrrrgh!" The Galaxy Cat would groan with visible effort as she began a slow, labored crawl towards her team's corner!

"Turn...the tides!" Estrella would roar as she pounded the mats beneath her with her fist before pushing up to all fours! Aurora got the toe of her boot on the canvas! She leaped forward towards her best friends and tag partners, Kat and Tracy! And the moment she got airborne, Dana closed the gap and plucked The Galaxy Cat out of the air! The Matriarch threw her backward, towards the center of the ring with a sudden Biel Throw!

"Gah!!" Aurora would yelp as she was sent sailing quite a ways! Right away all the momentum that was with The SWAT Cats seemed to have fizzled away to nothing! Due to the size difference between them, Dana was able to throw Aurora an impressive distance! The impact of her landing sent the lightweight rolling, crashing, and burning close to The Ashford Family's corner! The wicked Matriarch of The Ashfords, The Smiling Demoness had once again leveled Aurora for the second time this match!

Kat and Tracy banged the turnbuckle and hung their heads in dismay! Kat was especially furious! Once again the champs were forced to come to the realization that The Ashfords and Dana especially were tougher customers than anyone in the tag division had given them credit for previously! Despite all she had been through, Dana effortlessly led her team to success in this matchup and proved to be more than capable of holding her own against the Cats not just individually, but against the entire team! She was hurt, but she was still lethal! She fought with visible wear and tear but she was still very much a threat! Fans around the arena clamored with dismay as the question bore heavily on their minds: exactly what would it take for the champs to overcome the anchor of the Ashford Family and survive against the toughest challengers The Cats had squared off with to date!

Dana managed to catch up to Aurora before she picked her up and threw her towards her team's corner with a biel throw. Letting out a chuckle after seeing the other team's hope fizzling out, she would make her way back to her team's corner, and she could see that Toni had recovered from being thrown out of the ring. She had decided that it was time for her other daughter to have her turn.

Closing in to Aurora, Dana would bend down and grab her, dragging her even closer to the corner. Both Ashford sisters were looking at their mother expectantly, and when Dana gave Toni a look, the ponytailed Ashford nodded grimly, knowing that it was her turn to show what she was made of. She wouldn't dare to disappoint her mother, and when Dana held out her hand, Toni slapped the hand without hesitation, tagging herself in.

Now that it was her turn, Toni slipped through the ropes into the ring as she would grab hold onto Aurora while Dana slipped out. Keeping her grip on Aurora secure, Toni would drag the masked wrestler away from her team's corner. "It's about time..." Toni muttered before she drove her knee into Aurora's belly, looking to leave her breathless and stunned as she would try to set her up for something big later.

"She frustrates me...so much...." Katherine uttered after hearing Dana chuckle at them. Ashford denied the champs a chance at making a tag! Villains were nothing new to her in wrestling. But Dana wore the villainess look with such a natural ease and talent that it rubbed The Super Kitty the wrong way!

"I heckin' hate em! All three of them!" Tracy remarked as Dana dragged their lightweight teammate towards The Ashford Family's corner!

Everyone in the arena would remark on the dynamic between the mother and her daughters. The way Toni and Mara pined for their mother's attention, the way Dana made them work for even a smidgeon of their approval or risk suffering ambiguous consequences; it certainly upset many of the viewers and fans, but it really got under the skin of the SWAT Cats!

"Time? It may very well be time to admit that your mother is abusive to you and your sisters, you mean?" Aurora would remark as Toni tagged in and grabbed hold of her.

Estrella spoke through labored breaths. She was still feeling the effects of Dana's Biel Throw, along with all the other offense from earlier. The Galaxy Cat couldn't contest when Toni made efforts to keep her in the challenger's corner with a stiff knee!

"Urgh!!" The lightweight luchadora would groan as the force of the rising knee knocked her backward into the Ashford Family's corner!

Aurora found herself between a rock and a hard place! The champions and the fans in attendance looked on in concern as momentum swung back in The Ashford's favor!

Toni glared at Aurora upon hearing her remark, clearly insulted by such accusation. There was no way their mother could be abusive! Of course, she made Aurora pay for such accusation by driving her knee into her stomach, leaving her breathless and gasping for air.

"You know nothing, bitch!" Toni growled at Aurora before she dragged her way to the center of the ring. "How dare you..." She would make sure that Aurora remain standing as she would hold onto her head. "Our mother's not abusive!! You're just mad because she's better than all three of you!!" After saying that, Toni would deliver a vicious forearm smash right across the luchadora's face!

Meanwhile, both Dana and Mara were watching from their corner. Mara seemed to be restraining herself from jumping into the ring after hearing the accusation. Dana just patted Mara's shoulder, telling her to calm down.

Dana could understand how ad why these people could arrive at such conclusion. To outsiders, she might seem abusive to her children. But wasn't lying if she said she loved all her children. She only wished that these people could see the nuances rather than jump to conclusion immediately.

Indeed The Cats, the fans, and perhaps all of LAW didn't quite have the right impression of the Ashford Family dynamic. There may well have been no one outside the danger trio of women themselves that understood or appreciated what Dana and her daughters had. But from the outside looking in, from the perspective of the tag team champions, Dana was almost as cruel to her daughter as she was to her opponent's. And voicing that concern earned The Galaxy Cat nothing in the way of understanding the Ashfords!

A stiff knee to the gut from Toni, followed by a forearm blow to the lightweight's masked face drove home the fact that such accusations were not going to be tolerated! That forearm left Aurora dazed and reeling! The petite luchadora would stagger backward after being struck, and fall onto the middle rope, which she held onto by wrapping one arm around it to avoid falling! With Aurora in poor shape and the momentum squarely in the challenging team's favor, things once again looked dire for The SWAT Cats! The match had taken its toll on Aurora and Tracy. Katherine was still in questionable shape. And yet, with things looking as bleak as they did for the challengers, Katherine slammed the top turnbuckle repeatedly! She'd turn around and motion to the crowd! Tracy would join her in spurring the crowd on to will Aurora and the rest of the champs back into this thing!

Fans all around the arena at this sold-out PPV crowd filled the stadium with cheers for the tag champs! As her teammates got animated and tried to rally on her behalf in the corner, Aurora coughed and groaned as she tried to pull herself up to her feet. When Toni approached her to shut the chanting and Aurora down, The Galaxy Cat would look to drop to the canvas and catch the ponytailed blonde's legs between her own in the hopes of tripping her up with a Drop Toe Hold!

Estrella would aim to trip Toni onto the middle rope such that her upper body and arms would be draped over it! If Aurora managed to pull this off, she'd wince with one eye open and hold her head as she forced herself to pull her curvy, petite frame up off the canvas and get onto her feet. With all the urgency and speed she could muster in this state, The Galaxy Cat would run towards the ropes opposite Toni and ricochet off of them so that she could run back towards Toni and thread herself through the ropes in the hopes of turning the tides with a Tiger Feint Kick!

Toni grinned after hitting Aurora's face with her forearm. Watching Aurora seemingly in shamble, Toni was going to approach her, though she frowned as the champions tried to get the crowd chanting. It was irritating that these people were crowd-pleasers, and she was going to shut these idiots up by beating these stupid cat cosplayers.

But as she was about to approach Aurora, Toni was suddenly tripped down by her, and she didn't expect it at all! "Uwahh!!" She was sent down onto the middle rope, dazed and in shock. Seeing this opportunity, Aurora decided to run towards the ropes opposite the ones Toni was at, rebounding from them and returning back to her.

Upon reaching Toni, Aurora immediately performed a tiger feint kick, swinging her legs at Toni who was at the middle rope. "AAGHHH!" The ponytailed Ashford cried out as she was kicked backwards before she ended up in the middle of the ring, laid out. There was a look of confusion in addition to the pained look on her face as she couldn't register what just happened to her.

The SWAT Cats were indeed crowd-pleasers. It was part of what made them beloved as a team, beloved as champions. It was part of what drove women and teams like the challengers tonight to vanquish LAW's "heroes", as Dana had called them earlier.

"Okay...okay...." Aurora nodded to herself as she held her side and tugged on the ropes to pull herself up to a standing position on the apron of the ring!

The Galaxy Cat was the smallest cat in the fight, tonight- the smallest woman in the ring! The Ashford Family had taken advantage of that to great effect in this match! Aurora held her side as she struggled to keep it together in spite of all the punishment she had faced at the hands of Toni, Mara, and Dana! The fans had roared in approval as she landed the acrobatic kick! The energy in the arena was tangible! Everyone could feel that Aurora and The SWAT Cats were just one big tag away from reclaiming their momentum and surviving against their challengers, tonight!

The Galaxy Cat was in no condition to be moving right away. But she made the most of the time Toni spend laid out in the center of the ring. Aurora would slowly will herself into a fully upright and standing position. Her modest chest moved visibly as her breathing quickened! Estrella would take time to recover and to measure Toni! When the ponytailed blonde showed signs of stirring, Aurora would look to pull on the top rope with all her might and jump up to springboard and vault off of it! Fans would cheer The Galaxy Cat as she looked to take to the skies and bring Toni back down just as she as she was getting up with a Springboard Legdrop across her blonde head!

Regardless of whether or not Estrella managed to connect with the move, she'd fall onto her side deflated and out of gas! Katherine Hart in the SWAT Cat's corner would step onto the bottom rope and reach out as far as her hand could! The Super Kitty would pound the top turnbuckle with one hand and reach out to her legal partner with the other! Fans around the arena would clap to try and will Aurora Estrella back to her corner so that Kat could get a hot tag and change the complexion of this match-up in favor of the champions!

Slowly but surely, Aurora would try to find her way onto her stomach! And if she remained unfettered, The Galaxy Cat would try and make the most of this opportunity by crawling towards her corner to tag Kat Hart in!

Laid out on the mat, Toni was still trying to figure out what was happening to her after being hit by the tiger feint kick from Aurora earlier. As she was laid out on the mat, her opponent decided to go with her next attack, launching herself into the air with springboard before bringing her leg down onto the downed Toni with a legdrop!

"AAAAGHHHH!!!"

The springboard legdrop hit Toni right at her head, and she remained on the mat, groaning in pain as she clutched the affected area. This allowed Aurora a window of opportunity to move away from her to tag Katherine in. Knowing that she might be in trouble, Toni tried to roll herself away towards her mother and sister, hoping to tag one of them in, though her progress would be much slower than Aurora's.

As Aurora landed and dropped her leg and thigh on Toni, the crowd roared as things seemed to finally come together for the reigning champs! Estrella winced with one eye open as she collapsed into her side. She exhaled deeply with her mouth agape as she extended her hand out towards her corner!

The Ashfords had done an impressive job of isolating the lightweight SWAT Cat! They had more than demonstrated their worth as challengers and potential champs! The villainous trio had put The Galaxy Cat through the wringer for the last several moments of this title match! But with her resourcefulness and timing, Aurora seemed to finally be able to create an opening!

As the fans' collective claps and chants quicker and reached a fever-pitch, as hype culminated around the arena, Aurora managed to push off the ground with one hand and get a foot underneath her!

"Ngh!" Estrella grunted as she kicked off the ground and dove towards her corner! Her huge afro puff became a blur as she covered a good amount of distance!

Aurora aimed for Kat, who was all fired up and ready to go! Tracy was still seated on the apron, and only in slightly better shape than Aurora was! The sound of Aurora's hand slapping against Kat's echoed off the mics and camera throughout the arena! The audience and The SWAT Cat's chances in this match came perked up once the referee acknowledged the tag! Right away, The Super Kitty grabbed the top rope with both hands before vaulting over it with a slingshot motion! Kat's feet would hit the ground running and she'd make a beeline for Toni!

Hart's objective was clear! The renowned luchadora had designs to take advantage of the fact that Aurora was able to tag out before Toni did! Kat Hart would rush on and duck low! She'd lead with her good shoulder as she performed a shoulder roll and rolled against the canvas twice! After closing the distance between them this way, the heavyweight luchadora would pop up off of the ground and look to flip onto Toni back-first with a Rolling Thunder Senton!

With her opponent looking worse for wear and crawling to her corner even slower than Aurora did, Kat was confident that she could combine flair with function and land this move! If she managed to floor Toni completely, Kat would use her forward momentum to pop up to her feet and meet Toni's tag partners in The Ashford Family's corner! Without missing a beat, the brawny babe would step forward and wind up a big forearm blow, aimed at Mara's neck and chest to try and knock her off the apron of the ring and towards the outside! If she were able to strike quickly and nail her target, Kat would follow it up by grabbing hold of the top rope and swinging her left leg up quickly whilst leaning her upper body back to try and catch Dana with an even more forceful Enzuigiri Kick!

Should The Super Kitty's purple boot connect with The Matriarch and take her off the apron as well, she'd land on her feet in a crouched position and turn her attention to Toni Ashford! With the ponytailed girl still floored and ragged, Kat would catch her breath before moving in and attempting to seize the middleweight by her legs!

"You guys are good. Really good. But don't you ever undermine the champs and try to use us as stepping stones ever again!" Hart would chastise her legal opponent and attempt to make the most of this hot tag by quickly dragging Toni towards the center of the ring! She'd then attempt to fold Toni's legs such that the ankle of one leg was against the back of the knee on the other leg! Kat would continue manipulating Toni into a perfect position as she tried to set up her famed submission finisher! A Crossbow Hold that wrestlers and fans all over the world recognized as her infamous Queen of Harts submission finisher! If Hart locked it in successfully it would be clear that she had every intention of trying to win it for The SWAT Cats here and now!

Toni gritted her teeth, frustrated by the fact that her body refused to listen to her demand. In contrast, her counterpart, Aurora, managed to tag Katherine in, and Toni knew that the moment she was tagged in, it would be bad news for her. So, she would muster her effort to bring herself to her team's corner, hoping to tag in either her mother or sister so that they could win this match.

Unfortunately for her, Katherine had decided to waste little time after tagging herself in as she made her way towards Toni, even performing some moves that drew some pops from the crowd before she brought herself right onto Toni's back with a rolling thunder senton! "AAGGHHH!!!" Toni cried out in pain as she took the weight of the masked heavyweight, weakening her even further!

Katherine wasn't content with that, of course. As soon as she picked herself up, the luchadora made her way towards the Ashford's corner and went towards Mara first, hitting her with a forearm blow to her neck. "NNGAHHHH!!!" Mara cried out as she fell off the apron, hitting the floor outside. And before Dana could do anything, Katherine followed it up with an enzuigiri!

"GGHHHHH!!"

The kick left Dana rattled, causing her to lose her footing on the apron, which resulted in her falling off to the floor outside, joining her other daughter. This left Toni completely alone in the ring, under the mercy of Katherine. Still reeling from the senton, Toni tried to regain her bearing, but now, Katherine had brought her attention back to her.

"Nnnghhh..." Toni couldn't come up with any response to what Katherine was saying before she was then put into the Queen of Harts. "AAAAAHHHHH!!!" Toni squealed out in pain as she was held in such a painful position. She shook her head as she tried to ignore the pain, but she knew that the longer she was there, the more likely she would have to submit to her opponent.

Meanwhile, both Mara and Dana were still outside the ring, still reeling from being struck by Katherine earlier. They could hear Toni's squeals of pain from inside the ring, but they were unable to move in to rescue her. Mara could only hope that she could at least endure whatever it was before they could finally regain their strength.
