The SWAT Cats (c) vs The Ashford Family - LAW World Tag Team Championship Match

In one fell swoop, the famed Super Kitty managed to change the complexion of the entire match! With a hot tag from Aurora and some dynamic offense from Hart, the champs had gone from being in the brink of defeat to having Toni strung up in Katherine Hart's infamous finishing hold near the center of the ring without a partner in sight to bail her out!

Kat grit her teeth as she bent the ponytailed middleweight into an upsidedown U-shape over her knees! The luchadora nodded with effort as she tested the very limits of Toni's back flexibility!

The fans were on their feet as they looked on and cheered in anticipation of a possible submission win for The SWAT Cats here! Even fans watching at home got antsy. The referee approached Toni to ask if she would throw in the towel. Kat, herself called for the girl's submission!

"Tap out, Toni! You're fighting us for nothing! Even if you ambush us and win the belts off of us! Even if you become a champion in this company! Your mother still wouldn't be proud of you! She's a wicked woman! See the truth and submit! Begin your career anew!" Despite her words coming from a genuine place, Kat's intensity here was palpable. She continued pulling back on Toni's chin and her folded legs to stretch her to new extremes! She couldn't quite muster the strength to transition to the Ace of Harts. But The Super Kitty had tapped out many a woman at LAW with her Queen of Harts finisher! And if she could do that tonight, she'd protect The SWAT Cat's legacy in spite of being utterly destroyed before the match by one of the strongest wrestling dynasties in pro wrestling today!

As Tracy and Aurora continued to collect themselves in their corner, as they tried and failed to use the ropes to merely stand and get up to their feet, they looked to their partner Kat and saw hope yet! The only seed of doubt, the only question was: would Toni be able to hang on long enough for Mara or Dana to save this match? Or would Kat manage to save her team and the belts from The Ashford's grasp?!

Toni was trapped in the Queen of Harts and she had no way out. She screamed in pain as her body was worked on by Katherine. The pain was too much for Toni to handle, and it was clear now that she was about to tap out. Both Dana and Mara couldn't get into the ring to help her out after being struck earlier, and for Toni, she had no other choice but to submit.

"Nnnnghhhhhh... s-shut up...!! Y-you know nothing about my mother!!!" Toni yelled out defiantly. She was enraged by Katherine's accusation that her mother wouldn't be proud of her. "Y-you... ngghhhh... k-know n-nothing!!!" She shook her head in defiance, hoping to get herself out of this predicament. "Y-you... nghahhhh... s-self r-righteous j-jerk!!!"

Still, it was clear now that her endurance was running out, and despite her effort to remain defiant, she then let out a sob. In the end, Toni had no other choice but to tap out, signaling her submission. The referee saw this and called for the bell before telling Katherine to let go of her. If let go by Katherine, Toni remained sprawled on the mat, sobbing.

"Y-you... you have no right... a-accusing my mother that..." Toni said between sobs. "S-sure, she's a vile woman... b-but... she's my mother... y-you have no right..." Toni remained there as Mara immediately rushed into the ring to get to her side while Dana remained at the apron, watching her older daughter comforting the younger one.

As Mara comforted Toni, holding onto her, Mara looked at Katherine, giving her a pointed look. "Miss Katherine... I have nothing against you. Yes, you are right, our mother is vile. She's the first to admit that she's a vile person." Mara said. "But don't go around making such assumption about her not caring about us. She's our mother... and we love her..." Mara helped Toni to get up and walk out of the ring while Dana just watched her daughters made their exit.

Then, she threw a glance at Katherine and flashed a small smile. Despite their defeat, Dana was glad to see her daughters fighting with their convictions. Without exchanging words with Katherine and the smaller cats, Dana then followed her daughters as she made her exit as well.

The Super Kitty remained steadfast in pouring all the pressure onto Toni Ashford's back! She put her all into her submission finisher and tested the limits of Toni's back and core and constitution!

This PPV showing had been one arduous hurdle after another for the champions! All by design from The Ashfords! All at the hands of The Ashford Family! The SWAT Cats had come to We Are LAW 4 hoping to celebrate their big moment with the fans and share their spotlight via an open challenge. And in the span of one PPV segment, they were pushed to the brink of being former champions, and in Katherine's case- a former wrestler!

A deep exhale left Kat's lips as Toni tapped out. The strain that wrestling and keeping the hold applied left on her was visible for all to see. Her face and her shoulder reddened. Sweat dripped from her well-toned, buxom frame. And yet, when Toni tapped, she released the middleweight right away! The bell rang over and over but somehow tension still filled the air! This title bout was concluded but issues between The SWAT Cats and The Ashford Sisters persisted over the words exchanged between the two teams concerning their mother, Dana. Kat was in no position to respond when The Ashfords began to take their leave. She remained on her back supine and gasping for air and for relief from the pain that flared through her body and especially her shoulder. By the time she was up on her knees, she was able to see Mara and Toni make their exit, and she could see Dana behind them. The mature woman glanced back at Kat as Kat clutched the middle rope on the side of the ring closest to the entrance ramp. Despite winning, there was clear remorse on Katherine's face. Remorse that was indicative of regret.

"Mara....Toni....you're right.....I'm sorry..." She said audibly. Though whether or not her words would reach her vanquished challengers would remain to be seen.

Tracy and Aurora hobbled out of their corner to sort of dogpile Katherine. The pair rejoiced that the champions would live to see another title defense. But even as their theme song went off and the ring announcer declared to the whole world that The Cats had retained, Kat looked off towards the entrance ramp with a look of concern.

Clearly...this wasn't over. Not by a longshot.
