Sachiko couldn't be more excited with the news. She knew that, with their so-far successful run in LAW, the Heartbreakers would have plenty of eyes on them as they rose to the top, and they were sure to make a name for themselves through dominating the competition. With each win they racked up, and with each beatdown they left on their unfortunate opponents, the Heartbreakers were building a reputation as a team to be feared.
But none of that could compare to what they faced now. Here, they had been booked for a match at We Are LAW - and even if they were only on the undercard, appearing on LAW's biggest PPV was the greatest accomplishment of their career up to this point. It'd put more eyes on them than ever before, and this sort of audience was just what they needed to establish themselves as one of the tag team division's biggest threats. Of course, what was even better than appearing on the card was winning on the card, which would show everyone what they were capable of. And that was something Sachiko was already sure would happen. With a smirk on her face, she turned around to face her companions.
"You girls ready? Heh...this is gonna be good~"
"You bet!" cheered Kyoko, who held a fist in the air as she ran to her leader's side. Misako gave a noncommital shrug, but followed her nonetheless. It was time to make their grand entrance, and they wouldn't miss it for the world.
Indeed, a grand entrance it was set to be. The lights dimmed in the arena as fog was blown in from a machine, and the screen on the jumbotron lit up with the logo of the Heartbreakers, just as the three of them stepped out onto the stage below. Spoiler
As usual, Sachiko had her baseball bat slung over her shoulder, and all three of them wore sunglasses and open leather jackets with the logo emblazoned on the back. Kyoko grinned and mugged for a few camera flashes, but quieted down as Misako covertly punched her in the arm, leaving the three of them to proceed to the ring. Taking their places, Sachiko accepted a microphone, coming forward to face the ramp as she shouted into it.
"Sup, losers! I hope you're all real comfy in those seats...because some folks around here won't be! Get a good look at us, because we're gonna go places. This is only the beginning, and you're all getting a taste of what we can do..."
"But nobody's getting quite as much of a taste of us as the Fleeing Cherry Blossoms!" Kyoko added with a grin.
"That's Flying Cherry Bombs," Sachiko corrected.
"No, I think she was making an insult," Misako pointed out.
"Insult? No, that's what I thought they were called. My bad."
"...I should have known better from you."
"Well, whatever!" Sachiko took the microphone back, pointing out at the entrance. "Whatever you're called...get in the ring right now, because it won't be any fun if we need to kick your asses backstage!"

Being their debut in one of the largest events in the league. One would think that the Flying Cherry Bombs would be feeling anxious as they sat on a bench dressed in their skating equipment but they didn't. In fact there was more of an air of indifference than anything. Between Phoenix drawing and Cannon's reading. Rabbit seemed like the only one to care out of the three as she would occasionally look up from her phone to the tv that hung above their heads.
"Why you think Jan wanted such a big splash?" Rabbit asked noticing the time. "No clue, her cousin almost blew a fuse over it though." Cannon answered amused. As she flipped another page from her romance novel. "Yeah that's what's so odd, she's not even here."
"Its cuz we asked. If you remember we wanted a solid start."
"I gue- Hahaha!" Rabbit tried to reply but started laughing uncontrollably. When she turned towards her former roller derby captain, Phoenix. Who with a wide grin held a crude drawing of Cannon in the loving embrace of a tall muscular man. Though not long after that a loud THUD! Would echo through the room as the side of Phoenix's helmet was struck by a book.
Which would quickly silence Rabbit just in time for the three of them to hear their opponents, the Heartbreakers, call them out from the tv. "Guess we're up." Grumbled Cannon as she picked herself up from the bench where they were seated and skated off towards the ring. While her other two teammates quickly bagged everything theirs and shoved it on top of a vending machine for safe keeping before they raced off to catch up.
Luckily it wouldn't take long for the trio to regroup and fall in line behind their leader until they reached the gorilla position and blasted out onto the stage ramp with their music blaring and logo flashing in the screens. Then with Phoenix going in a straight line both Cannon and Rabbit would begin to zigzag behind her and form a repeating X until the three had made it to front of the ring and stopped. logo
music
At which point they would remove their helmets and snap their boots out of the shoe bed that held their boots to the wheels. Once done though the three would get in their corner with Cannon the tallest of the bunch entering the ring."So you rang?" Phoenix asked almost lazily. As she laid her head against her hand on the top rope. Rabbit

As the Flying Cherry Bombs' entrance began to get underway, the Heartbreakers stayed back in the ring, readying themselves for their arrival. What first caught their eye was when the logo on the screen changed to that of the Cherry Bombs, a fact that caused Kyoko to point and glare back at her companions. "Hey! They totally ripped off our entrance! With the logo and all! Can we sue them?"
"Ehh..." Sachiko shrugged her shoulders. "I mean, it is We Are LAW. Everyone wants to make a good entrance."
"We did this before, though!"
"Yeah, well, that's because we're that much cooler, okay? We don't need a supercard to enter in style!"
"Besides," Misako added, "our fearless leader stole the logo from Bullet Club anyway, so-"
"Hey, I did not! I told you! Just because it's a skull with weapons behind it doesn't mean it's a ripoff! You gonna say that pirates ripped off Bullet Club first?"
"Wait, we're pirates now? Should I have worn an eyepatch?"
"Look, just...shut up! Look!"
The Heartbreakers ceased their bickering in time to see their opponents come skating into the ring. Kyoko cheered and applauded at their display, to which Misako rolled her eyes with a sigh, seeing that once again her partner was easily swayed by flashy entrances even if it was coming from their opponents. Sachiko, meanwhile, placed her hands on her hips as Cannon entered the ring, stepping closer to her as she puffed out her chest with a confident grin on her face. Despite her size, Sachiko didn't seem intimidated.
"Yeah, we get that you can skate. Big deal! That doesn't mean shit in a wrestling ring, so unless you're gonna prove you're any good at, y'know, wrestling too, ya might as well just back off! Or...actually, don't. That would mean we won't get to beat the shit out of you!" From behind her, Kyoko eagerly pumped a fist in the air. Misako, however, was more wary, eyeing Sachiko and silently praying she wouldn't underestimate the heavyweight.

Once Cannon had entered the ring she wouldn't take her eyes off the trio. She had seen their type countless times before, self-serving assholes who had a flare for cruelty. After all you could find them in the streets or in a derby ring easily enough. Though that only seemed to annoy her even if it didn't show.
"Skaters huh? Yeah, guess that's us." Phoenix replied almost dismissively as she turned to Cannon. "Give em a morter shot. Cast it wide but don't commit."
"Wait are we doing a rail grind." Rabbit asked. Looking a bit concerned with the call. "Nah, I just wanna see." Phoenix explained. Then gave Rabbit a knowing smile as she perked up. While Cannon would walk up to Sachiko and regard the Sukeban with even but judging eyes. "Your move Pit." She said. Waiting for the cheap shot that her gut told her was coming.

Sachiko snickered at the response she got. She was sure that when she taunted the Cherry Bombs about not being able to pull their weight in the ring, she was going to get harsher words in return. But Phoenix wasn't even all that perturbed, casually accepting the appelation. As far as Sachiko was concerned, that just proved that a victory for her and her team was surely in the cards, and that her opponents had admitted defeat before the match had even begun. A big, dumb grin came over her face. It didn't hurt that the opposing team didn't seem to have a plan in place as to how to open the match, making her feel confident that they were out of their league. Admittedly, Sachiko had no idea what they were talking about, but it didn't matter. She knew that she was surely set to win, and the prospect was a sweet one.
Even better was the fact that Cannon stepped up to Sachiko, yielding the first move to her. The delinquent's eyes lit up like a child on Christmas morning, the chance to take her opponent by surprise and secure an easy advantage practically handed to her. From behind the ropes, Kyoko watched with rapt attention, though Misako was a bit more cautious. Surely if the Flying Cherry Bombs were good enough to be on the card at We Are LAW at all, they wouldn't make such a glaring mistake. She was sure that they had something up their sleeve, but she was wary about calling out to her partner and giving Cannon anything to use against them.
In any case, it hardly mattered when the bell soon rang!
*DING DING DING*
"Heh...yer funeral, babe!~" Sachiko teased. As soon as the match had begun, she shoved herself closer to Cannon, going to throw an elbow square into her sternum!

Misako was right to be concerned. Like all team efforts it takes communication to have the best results and no group knew that better than The Flying Cherry Bombs. Who happily buried theirs in a layer of symbols and coded phrases. That only they and their former roller derby team understood. Of course to anyone else it would all look and sound indecipherable.
Meaning Cannon had her strategy and like an eager predator that was ready to pounce. She could feel the rush slowly creeping in. As a wolfish grin stretched across her lips and said. "Right back at ya." Just in time for the bell to ring and for Sachiko to suddenly rush forward with an elbow!
However, having expected something like this, Cannon was already prepared. Though admittedly she had anticipated something more below the belt and because of it barely managed to catch the strike. Before she would shove Sachiko backwards and attempt to completely floor her opponent with a lariat!

As far as Sachiko was concerned, she had a clear shot at her opponent. As soon as Cannon came within range, the delinquent was poised to hit her with a powerful blow that was sure to rattle her skull, hoping to land a strike at the very moment the match officially began - before Cannon had time to prepare.
That was what Sachiko thought, anyway - in reality, Cannon was counting on her to do exactly what she did, and she would only deliver herself right into the skater's trap! Sachiko swung for Cannon with a devious grin on her face, already relishing in the impending impact, when she suddenly found her momentum arrested. She looked down to see that Cannon had caught her, leaving her looking on baffled by the knowledge that her sure-fire secret weapon hadn't quite stacked up. "Hey, what gives?" Sachiko said, her eyes narrowed toward Cannon with frustration.
Cannon, however, wouldn't need any words to answer her. With a forceful shove, she sent Sachiko staggering backward, and she doubled over coughing as she tried to recenter herself. In the meantime, she was left unable to defend herself, as Cannon came barreling forward and swung her arm out in front of her to deliver a lariat! Her arm struck Sachiko in the chest with the sound of a forceful thwack, throwing the sukeban's head backward as her neck and torso bent back in an arc. A moment later, she fell off her feet, toppling to the mat in a huff. Groaning, Sachiko attempted to roll herself to her side to gain her bearings while staying out of Cannon's way. "Gah...that didn't count!"

Despite being a delinquent of sorts herself. Cannon surprisingly hated dealing with her own kind. For some reason they all seemed to see themselves as geniuses for playing dirty. Almost like no one had ever thought of the idea before. In reality though they were all the same, idiots and neither Sachiko or her were any different.
As she would enjoy seeing the confused look on Sachiko's face. Before having rammed her arm in her chest and thrown the 160 Ibs Sukeban onto the mat. All of which would cause Rabbit to cheer in delight and yell out. "U mad?!" Once she heard the childish outburst from the leader of The Heartbreakers.
While Cannon would simply grin at their exchange. As she attempted to follow through with her attack and in a single fluid motion pivoted 180 degrees to face her opponent again. Where she would try to bring down the full force of her strength in a single foot stomp on top of Sackio's head!

Sachiko would never admit it of herself, being the leader of her gang and a self-proclaimed mastermind who was behind their schemes and, she liked to think, responsible for their success. But...in truth, she wasn't exactly the brightest. She wasn't exactly a master technical wrestler, either, relying mainly on dirty tactics and street brawling, and the intricacies of a well-planned, carefully targeted strategy in the ring went over her head. As a result, she came charging forward, expecting to stun Cannon with an attack right off the bat, only for that to be countered when her opponent shoved her back, distracting her long enough to floor her with the lariat!
Landing on the mat, Sachiko groaned, rolling onto her side and rubbing her head. She didn't want to admit that she could have fallen for something so simple, and let her performance in the match start out on a sour note, but reality said otherwise. And she was especially frustrated to hear Rabbit taunting her, causing her to pound a fist against the mat and shoot a glare toward the lightweight. "Oh, fuck you!" she snapped, while Kyoko cut in with a "Hey, that's my line!" upon noticing her use of internet vernacular. Misako, to her credit, rolled her eyes with a sigh; this was nothing new from these two.
Either way, Sachiko wasn't doing much to save herself for what Cannon had up her sleeve next. She glanced up just in time to see the heavyweight lift her foot, and her eyes went wide with a gasp that was only halfway past her lips before the impact came down. She was knocked against the canvas, flopping onto her back. If the lariat didn't count, this at least did.
