An Interview With Sachiko: Round 1 Intermission

The lights dimmed and the camera focused to the side of the ring where a reporter was standing next to Sachiko Koizumi after her first round win. " We're here with one of the Last Woman Standing's first round victors Sachiko Koizumi! That was an amazing match Sachiko! How did you manage to make it through?" She asked before holding the microphone to the wrestler.

"Pssht...was that supposed to be hard? Big whoop! She went down just as easy as any of them! Okay, okay..." Saying this, Sachiko paused, wincing as she rubbed at a bruise on her side. "So, okay, I took a few hits...or more than a few. And she hits like a fuckin' truck. I'm gonna be feeling that. But all the same, I figured her out. She's quick, sure, but she's not a machine. When I tried to fight fair, she roughed me up. But when I started fighting dirty - in the true Heartbreaker spirit - that's when I could succeed. I started taunting her so she'd let down her guard, and I kept dodging to get her to waste her energy, until she got tired out. That's when I could go in for the kill. Worked like a charm, too! Work smart, not hard, I say!" She then turned and leaned to the camera, waving with a smug grin. "See ya on the flip side, old hag! Hah!"

The crowd responded with a few laughs and cheers after the wrestler's response. "Got any more surprises in store for us?" Sachiko was soon asked. The question was quickly followed up with another. "And please tell us, what can we expect to see from you in the future?"

"Surprises? Ehh...I don't know if you'd call it a surprise when I go on to win the tournament, given that I'm undefeated in LAW - and, based on what you saw just now? Yeah, I don't think that's gonna change any time soon! I'm confident the Heartbreakers are going to score their biggest victory yet, because we're taking over, and you're gonna believe it by the end of the night if ya don't already! By the time this tournament is over, there won't be anyone in the stands right now who'll doubt us!" She pointed out into the stands, though was met with a mixed reception.

"Hmmm. Well what do you think of your next opponent?"

"Uhhh...who's that again?" Sachiko paused as a nearby staff member leaned over and whispered a few words into her ear. "Oh! Rose Gold, huh? Yeah, I heard her name around. She's kinda a big deal. Number one contender to the Lightweight Championship or something? Ehh...whatever! You're looking at a future Tag Team Champion - nah, World Openweight Champion - right here!" Beaming proudly, Sachiko pointed a thumb at her own generous chest. "And I can take on anyone! I saw her match against Lynn Locke or whatever? She lost...I think. I remember her crotch, anyway. Whaaat? Never said I wasn't a simple gal. What I'm getting at is that she's overhyped, and I'm taking her down no sweat!"
