Author’s Note
This is a segment on the first STARSTRUCK house show on WFPW’s The Frontier Across Europe international tour. This takes place on July 6th, 2023 at the First Direct Arena in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. The characters in this belong to me, a good friend of mine, @RedShinigami, and @CaptainL. I thank them for their permission! I’ll share full shows on the tour in the near future!
The Superstars’ Theme Song
(The crowd cheered wildly as Superstar Molly Forster comes out raising both her hands and going to each side of the stage waving out to the crowd in attendance. Her partner and fiancée, Superstar Harmonia Edelstein, comes out with a microphone as smoke starts shooting up in the air with the positive support filing in from around the arena. Molly wore her white dress with the red star in the middle, her red bunny headband, and ring boots. Harmonia wore a pitch black suit jacket with gold buttons with a red tie and white dress shirt tucked in, long red slacks, black dress shoes, her sunglasses, and her hat. Both women had gold star earrings and white gloves on their hands. Harmonia called Molly over for a hug as they take in the scene before them getting ready to start their first official show as general managers. They looked at each other as Harmonia pecked her fiancée on the lips before releasing her hold and motioning production to cut the sound.)
“Guten Tag, Leeds, and HELLLLLOOOOOOOO SUPERSTARSSSSSSSSSS!!!!” Harmonia exclaimed as smoke shot up again and huge cheers went around the arena. “Welcome to the first live event for me and Molly’s show here at World Frontier Pro Wrestling we like to appropriately name STARSTRUCK. The show where we care about entertaining you all and leaving you with the respectful word right there on the screens on your faces. Thank you all for coming tonight!”
“This is so exciting, Moni! We’re actually general managers!” Molly cheered as she jumped in place as her and Harmonia walked down the aisle.
“That we are, Carrot!” Harmonia added with another round of cheers from the crowd. “If you don’t know us, allow us to introduce ourselves. I’m Harmonia and this is Molly. We are the team that runs this show. We are the Superstars, the best tag team that European wrestling has to offer. We have spent countless hours drafting a competent roster and putting together cards that will bring wonderful action to you all over the next few days. It all starts tonight.”
“But just because we run the show, it doesn’t mean we aren’t active competitors. Me and Harmonia don’t just have this job, but we are wrestlers first and foremost. This is where we started our careers and we shall compete to show that we take both of our lives seriously,” Molly stated as Harmonia put an arm in front of her before the general manager walked over to the ring ropes holding them open for Molly.
(Molly blushed before walking to step inside the ring beaming with excitement as Harmonia joins her bringing the mic back up to her mouth.)
“That’s much better. This is the ring of the Superstars and tonight, we extend the olive branch to everyone here. Everyone here tonight is officially a Superstar in their own right. This is our show and me and Molly will love having you for every show after this!” Harmonia declared as she pointed out to the crowd and the cheers went up as “SUPERSTARS! SUPERSTARS! SUPERSTARS!” is chanted throughout the arena.
“That does bring us to a special announcement. Me and Harmonia were….doing some special recruiting before we made the trip over here. Harmonia has the dream of one day owing her own wrestling school and she wants to bring the teachings of the Shadow Fortress to it in tribute to her mentor, Dana Ashford. While we aren’t close to opening anything yet, we have decided to officially start scouting for students. In honor of the first STARSTRUCK live event, we wanted to fly out the inaugural class of our newest initiative. We officially have Superstars-in-Training!” Molly announced to the big cheers of the crowd and more smoke popped up to add to the impact.
“Back at the Eagle’s Nest, me and my dear over here wanted to try and find the next big talent as there is so much brewing on the indies and in the outer sphere of wrestling. We contacted some close friends and created a list of 8 students that will train under the tutelage of myself and Molly. I’ve taken the liberty of having some assistant teachers step in time from time as our duties in WFPW do keep us rather busy,” Harmonia stated.
“Should we go ahead and introduce them, Moni?” Molly asked with a big smile.
“Let us. This is the inaugural class that we have ready. Come on out, Superstars!” Harmonia exclaimed as she pointed to the entrance stage.
The Superstars’ Theme Song
“That’s what we are all about!” Harmonia exclaimed as she turned to face her new students. “Guten Tag, future Superstars! Well, some of you are already apart of wrestling right now, but we’ve either chosen you or become recommended to take you under the wings of an Austrian eagle and the ears of a British bunny. Welcome to your new home! Welcome to the start of something great! Welcome to the opportunity to leave the crowd STARSTRUCK!” Harmonia called out as the crowd cheered loudly.
“We’ll get to know each other in due time. We do have an opportunity right off the bat for you guys,” Molly stated.
Felicia Mayberry’s Theme
(Before Harmonia could speak another word of what she wanted to propose, a black woman with long auburn hair came out dressed in a black sports bra with a white ‘F’ on the right breast, black tights with a silver trim, and brown stem symbols with four red roses attached to the lines down the legs of the tights. She also wore white boots with red laces and a championship title around her waist that had a black strap, three gold plates, three pink paw prints on the two side plates, and “M.E.O.W Magnificent Champion” written on the main plate with a pink paw print in the middle. The woman had a microphone in her hands as Harmonia stared her down getting a little annoyed at being interrupted on her own show.)
“What the hell is all this?” The black woman asked. “I don’t even get note of defending my title in this cross-promotion opportunity and we have time for academy classes?”
“The better question is: who the hell are you and why are you interrupting MY show?” Harmonia asked as she placed her hands on her hips.
“Well, sweetheart, I come from Magnificent European Onstage Wrestling and it came to my attention this very morning that my employer is partnering with WFPW to have some stars from my promotion compete on this tour. I’m quite frankly flabbergasted and offended that I wasn’t notified. The world champion of her promotion! That’s ridiculous!” The black woman complained as she started down the ramp.
“Well, I know who you are now. A self-entitled bitch! I don’t know why your employer didn’t notify you about this partnership opportunity or why she skipped over you, but that doesn’t give you the audacity to interrupt me when me and Molly are trying to entertain the crowd or trying to talk with our students,” Harmonia scolded.
“Yeah, because entertaining these folks is just talking and talking without getting much done. I’m Felicia Mayberry, the M.E.O.W Magnificent World Champion as you can see by the belt around my waist. I am a fighting champion of seven months now. I won this title at the beginning of this year and I’ve had multiple successful defenses with it. I simply decided to invite myself out here to see what all the fuss was about. Clearly, there isn’t too much so far,” Felicia insulted to boos coming from the crowd.
“I ain’t going to waste my damn time on you. You’re right, I don’t want to stall the show. I’ll talk with my students backstage. As for you, you’re on my show and if you want to put that stupid title on the line, I’ll be more than happy to see one of my roster workers take it off you and I’ll also gladly have security throw you out on the street where you definitely belong! In fact, I think my other student could use a little challenge here. Later on, you’ll be facing Nico Cardona!” Harmonia announced to the big cheers from the crowd at the mention of the futbol player.
“You think one of your students….makes me scared? I punt runts all the way back in London. This will just be a normal day at the office for me,” Felicia retorted as she crossed her arms under her rack.
“You’re a betting woman? Color me impressed. Then I guess that means you wouldn’t mind a few more names added to this match. Let’s raise the probability rating. Not only will you take on Nico, but you’ll also take on Marshall Seymour, Teuila Masina, and Aisha Laurens. All of them at once for that title!” Harmonia exclaimed as the crowd cheered even louder.
“I’m willing to put myself through that gamble. Those women don’t know the competitor I am and I won’t hesitate to show them why I’ve held this title for half of the year. You just made my almost guaranteed win that much bigger. This audience is going to witness a truly starstruck moment, because it’ll be me stacking four unfortunate women on top of each other to pin them and retain my championship. Don’t cry foul when that will be the hill you let them die on,” Felicia explained as she backed away to multiple boos in the crowd.
