Updates for October 14, 2023. Previous updates for October 10, 2023.
special reminder:
So that crazy idea of involving Gabriel in a gauntlet match for Nightmare on LAW Street event has turned out much better than I imagined.
I thank every user who decided to enter one of their characters in our match; not only for the ideas they suggested, but also for the future stories that will be born from here, and other emotional elements.
The kayfabe has been updated and the rules expanded, as well as including a section for doubts that came up when I was thinking about the gauntlet, but which I didn't take into account again until someone else brought them back to me.
ㅤ
The unofficial title of the non-DQ gauntlet for the Halloween 2023 event is "Roulette of the Seven Nightmares"featuring Gabriel Vinlee kind of cheesy, but that's the idea, although as I warned, it's still open to modification.
The kayfabe
[updated] The pub&club faction manager has agreed to fulfill a whim and will involve this blonde Destroyer of his in a no-rules gauntlet match that could turn out either very well or very badly for her promotion.
She's supposedly their faction's biggest breaker, but nothing guarantees that it will be within what LAW has to offer. So, as soon as that night falls and she steps into that themed ring, she can only have two roles when the lights flicker and her opponent steps out:
Be the victim.
ㅤOr
Be the monster.
Rumour has it that the unbreakable queen ignores the number of these opponents, whether they will come armed with chairs, a bokken or jasmine oil perfumes. Or if any of them will have the audacity to come with allies. Nor does she know if the ring will be enclosed in a cage at some point or if the First Queen will have to move elsewhere inside the arena to fight in strange conditions.
The only thing she was given was a warning about the potential special rules that some opponents may have, and that the macabre roulette will not stop with a defeat, it will be locked in when she reaches the last opponent. Even if Gabriel can't do it anymore!
Her answer: "...alright, let's do it! Where do I have to sign?"
Match rules:
[updated] Previously: The point is to make it fun, so for now it's based as a non-DQ mainly, how violent and wild it will get each round will depend on each opponent, it could be a piece of cake where Gabriel isn't the ryonized one or where someone gets dispatched in the first two post by a quick move and some carelessness. It will all depend on what my fellow rp's are looking for in each encounter.
Now:
Like every gauntlet, it's divided by rounds.
All rounds happen within the same thread.
Each round is committed to last a minimum of 2 posts; a maximum of 12 posts; and in extreme cases, 15 posts total so as not to stagnate the thread - I'll talk about this in the section on questions that require an answer.
Some rounds have special details that must be met before attempting a pin or verbal submission, otherwise the attempt fails.
Some matches may aim to do a ryona with Gabriel or have her do the ryona. It will depend on what my rp partner and I decide.
As soon as the round has a conclusion, the bell has a maximum of 30 seconds to ring again after the nightmare has departed the ring to call the next Terror. So, there are virtually no breaks.
The wheel does not stop with a loss, reiterating what was said in the kayfabe, the match will only end when Gabriel deals with the last opponent, otherwise, The Roulette of Seven Nightmare is still in effect.
ㅤ
Do you win? By only pinfall or verbal submission. No more.
All combats will happen sequentially within the same thread. I plan for each match to last a maximum of 24 posts; at a minimum, 2 posts; so as not to hog the entire thread and leave other rp partners waiting inappropriately.
How should victories or defeats be treated in this gauntlet?
There are two ways: at the user's discretion and what they feel is best for their character; or at mine: "Each round is considered a separate match-even if they are taking place within the same thread-so each defeat and victory is considered something between Gabriel and the opponent, not in general."
Wouldn't it be too convoluted for you to have the whole gauntlet happen within the same thread?
Somewhat, but we're contemplating applying a post that encapsulates the rounds with their respective urls so we can travel directly to them and locate where each round begins and ends—it also makes it easier for the reader to browse through the thread in search of the round that interests them.
How many participants do I need?
Three are enough, five are many, and seven are too many, but it is enough to make a difference because the maximum for me is 7, but I can go up to 8 or 9 depending on what the plans are.
I need Gabriel to she get to the penultimate opponent as a minimum, 7 is already a lot, so...I think you get where I'm going - I am open to breaking that limit if we organise something that allows Gabriel to catch her breath in that round.
The following table does not at all represent the order in which each character will make their appearance—that will be discussed separately with them so as not to make spoilers before the time—this table is just a list for quick access to the data when you have to submit the form.
If anyone is interested in a match where they want a character to be ryonazed or ryonize someone or to have a fun, fleeting combat, they can write to get involved.
So, I'm having this crazy idea to involve Gabriel in a gauntlet match for the event of Nightmare on LAW Street and these are the approaches I have:
The name of the thread is in the works, but I want to involve something to do with roulette.
The kayfabe for this match:
The manager of the pub&club faction has agreed to fulfill a supposed whim—whose whim? Don't know—and will involve this blonde wrecker of his in a match where he's going to have to deal with a number of varied opponents.
She is unaware of the number of these opponents, whether some of them will come in pairs or whether they will be armed with chairs, bokken or Jasmine oil perfumes. She has no idea if the ring will be enclosed in a cage eventually or if she must move to another place inside the arena because now she must fight inside a pool filled with oil.
She also doesn't know whether she herself is the monster here or the victim in this macabre and perverse roulette. All she knows is that she may be in a variable-themed ring, getting everything that crosses the top ramp and that losing won't stop the wheel. The royal viper has to get to the last opponent to get out of this roulette of terror!
Rules of match:
The point is for it to be fun, so, for now, it basins as a non-DQ mainly, how violent and wild it will get in each round will depend on each opponent-it could be a cakewalk where Gabriel isn't the ryonizada or where someone will be dispatched in the first two posts for a quick move and some carelessness. It will all depend on what my fellow rp's are going for in each encounter.
Wins? By pinfall, submission, tap-out, K.O, T.K.O, Hentai K.O.
How will the matches be divided? All matches will happen sequentially within the same thread. I plan for each match to last a maximum of 12 posts so as not to take up the whole thread and leave out the other rp partners, although I may change it depending on what they think.
How many participants do I need? I would like to involve at least 3 people and a maximum of 7 if that is ok.
Gabriel's data to know if you are interested in getting involved with her: Gabriel Vinlee:
Number of people involved: 5/???
