Mature Mayhem! Finlay Zeffer vs Dana Ashford!

Standing backstage and strapping on his boots, Finlay Zeffer was preparing for yet another match in the mixed division. Despite a set back in a loss against Amy Henderson he had been on somehwat of a roll latey, and he looked to continue said momentum tonight with another win. However if what others backstsge were saying was true it’d be a hard fight. He was up against a rather famous woman named Dana Ashford, a woman of advanced age for someone in their line of work but it meant she had experience.

Admittedly Finlay had to give it to her, not many could last in the ring long enough to be able to fight with their children. So he respected her for that, but he had seen some of her matches growing up, and looked into her again when he found out she’d be his opponet. He wasn’t impressed. She was certainly skilled don’t get him wrong, but she was a classic heel that in his opinion was stuck in a older style of thinking. Something he could and would take advantage of if it were true.

Finally ready with his physical and mental preperations the blonde would stand up and stretch his arms above his head while walking forward towards the guerilla position in preperation for his entrance. Clad in his usual long red wrestling tights, with elaborate maori designs on each leg and a black belt. He also wore black wrestling boots with white laces and orange soles with orange studs on the sides. With his arms he wore black fingerless gloves with orange knuckles and palms and red atheltic tap wrapping around his forearms, his maori tattoo glistening on his shoulder already as the lights began beating down on him till his entrance cued on.

As Alchemy by Brandon Yates began playing over the speakers signifying the start of his entrance the blonde New Zealander ran out onto the top of the ramp. Throwing a fist out he would pose for the fans as fireworks went off much to the fans cheers. Running down the ramp he would leap right at the base and fly forward straight between the gap of the bottom and middle ropes. Rolling forward he would pop up into a pose as the fans cheered again.

He personally wasn’t much of one for crowd reactions. But since coming to LAW he had become more accustomed to doing so by throwing the fans a bone so to speak, mainly during his entrances where he could add some spice via his athleticism. That being said he was slowly coming into his own progressively leaning more towards a face which many in the audience could get behind, as opposed to his more stand offish tweener roots. Heading over to his corner he would calmly lean against it as he looked over at the top of the entrance ramp waiting for his quote unquote ‘legendary’ opponet.

Tonight, Dana would be wrestling in a mixed match against a man named Finlay Zeffer. Always eager to get into the ring to beat up some overconfident guys, Dana was already prepared for the match. Wearing her signature strapless leotard and white boots, the veteran would wait for her cue. She didn't know what to expect from this Finlay, and all she could do was to wait for them to face each other in the ring.

Soon, when it was time for her to make her entrance, Dana stepped out to the ramp, Birth of a New Witch playing from the loudspeakers. She received mixed reactions from the crowd, which was already expected for someone like her. As always, she wore her motherly smile on her face as she strutted down the ramp, showing off her mature figure for all to see. Feeling mischievous, she winked at nearby spectator before blowing the lucky fellow a kiss before finally arriving at the ring.

Once she arrived, Dana climbed up the apron and rolled under the ropes, getting into the ring. Once she stood up, she strutted around for a little before her music faded. As the commentators became animated with their commentating, Dana would then turn around to look at her opponent for tonight. A handsome young man, Dana couldn't help but be charmed a little, though she certainly couldn't wait to put her hands on him before finally winning this match.

"Oh my~" Placing her hand onto her cheek, Dana decided to engage with Finlay a little small-talk before they could begin the match. "Hope you can go easy with little ol' me." Of course, she didn't really mean it as she stuck out her tongue mischievously. Despite her age, Dana certainly loved messing with other people. She had been building herself up that way, and it had become a part of herself after all those years.

Finlay watched carefully as his opponet came down to the ring with a confident swagger about her, someone to be expected of a woman with her experience and skill. But he wouldn’t be intimidated just because of her age and experience, after all he had youth and, in his mind, more skill on his side.

As she entered the ring and he got a up close and personal view he saw she was a actually a bit bigger than him, height way by a inch or two, and weight wise presumably by a few pounds. So all ways this would likely be a even match up between experience and raw strength versus youth and technical prowess. In any case it seemed his opponet wanted words before the match.

”Even if I believed you, which I don’t, I wouldn’t hold back on anyone. Just be sure not to hold back yourself.” He said back with a serious tone while cracking his knuckles in preperation and bouncing from foot to foot, a determined expression on his face as he waited for the bell to ring.

Dana pouted when the young man before her saw through her charade, though she regained her smile as she would take her position. "Aw... well, alright then~! I can't simply say no to a studly young man like you~" Dana winked at Finlay, hoping to mess with him. Like her opponent, Dana would also wait for the bell before the referee called for it, starting the match between both of them.

Hearing the sounds of the bell, Dana would take a stance, bringing her hands up. Carefully watching her opponent, Dana decided to offer a hand, as if inviting him for a contest of strength. Instead of a normal grappling, Dana wanted to do this test of strength first to ascertain her opponent's power.

Finlay admittedly smirked a tiny bit when he saw the pout mar Dana’s face, no doubt a result of him calling her bluff. But even so it didn’t stop the older woman from being flirtacious towards him, something he’d come to expect as of late, especially given his last opponet Rindo.. In any case Fin only blushed slightlg from the words, not doing anything obvious that Dana could take satsifaction in.

”I’m sure you couldn’t.” He said sarcastically with a roll of his eyes, a bad habit he’d been developing due to some of the girls part of his roster. But in any now was the time for action and not words. Hearing the bell ring the blonde saw Dana raise her arms up for a test of strength, raising an eyebrow Finlay looked wearily at Dana, unsure whether to trust her or not.

But from what he remembered or researched she was usually st least somewhat genuine with tests of strength, despite being a heel cheap shots of that nature weren’t especially common with her. Thus he would raise his own arms up and grasp Dana’s hands with his own in order to begin pushing against her for the test of strength!

While Dana was well-known for her shady character, being a cheater wasn't a part of it, even though she did engage in underhanded tactics once in a while, and when Finlay accepted her offer for a contest of strength, Dana would start pushing, exerting her strength so that she could ascertain her opponent's strength early in this match. She would draw herself close to the young man, making sure that he would get a clear view of her body even as she was having a contest of strength with him.

"Oh dear, aren't you an uptight one?" Dana cooed, teasing the man some more as she would raise her arms while still holding Finlay's hands. From there, she would attempt to twist his hands by his wrists, hoping to get some reactions out of him. "You could use some unwinding once in a while, you know~?" She said airily, her eyes filled with mischief as she would attempt to gain leverage over her male opponent. So far, the crowd was invested in the match, hoping to see some actions later on.

As they engaged in the test of strength Finlay grunted slightly as he helt the strength of the ceteran first hand. She was definitely as strong as the rumors made her out to be, it it wasn’t anything he couldn’t handle. Pushing his own arms against Dana he matched her strength and tried to push her back with sheer will. Unfortunately she was showing her experience by bending his wrists back making him wince as he faltered slightly, all while the older woman was poking fun at his expense.

Grunting from the tension on his wrists he’d think quickly and plant his feet into the mat before trying to pull their arms and untwist the grip on his wrists and instead apply it to Dana herself. ”I like to think I’m just focused on the task at hand.” He said back as a counter to the older woman’s words while trying to push forward on their now lowered hands, attempting to push up against her and force the Ashford matriarch backwards.

Dana smiled as she twisted Finlay's hands by his wrists, but the young man displayed his strength by untwisting them before he returned the favor, twisting her hands instead. Still, Dana's smile wouldn't waver as she would plan her next move even as she endure the twisting of her wrists. Now put in a defensive position, Dana was pushed backwards, with their hands lowered as Finlay took over.

"You know, you'd be a lot charming if you can relax a little..."

As Dana was pushed backwards, she decided that she might as well try to be sneaky. Enduring the push a little, she would then bring her right foot between Finlay's feet, and with expert precision, she would attempt to sweep at his feet, hoping to make him lose his footing and regain her advantage over him in their contest of strength.

As he pushed against Dana Finlay noted he was managing to push her back bit by bit, however despite this being a good thing he narrowed his eyes slightly. ‘It shouldn’t be this easy.’ He thought to himself, more than petrubed at the smile still present on her face. Something that set many of Fin’s danger senses into overdrive. Looking around he silently prepared for something she may try, even as she took another jab at him.

”I’ll keep that in mind.. Once I beat you.”

As he said this however he looked down spotting her leg. ‘Shit.’ Finlay thought to himself picking up on it a momwnt too late as the experienced woman swept jer leg forward taking out his right leg makimg him stumble back and fall onto one knee before Dana! This left him at a severe disadvantage against his opponet who was still standing tall on both feet with that damned smile.

Dana's smile brightened as she managed to bring Finlay on his knee, and she decided that she had to press her advantage there by sidling to her opponent's side, lowering herself before catching his head, looking to trap him in a side headlock. She would also bring herself on one knee, looking to wrench at her opponent's head, squeezing it at the same time to keep him under pressure.

Also, in this position, Dana would also end up bringing the side of Finlay's face against the side of her buxom chest. She let out a soft giggle as she would try to keep her opponent under pressure, hoping to turn him docile so that she could continue working on him. "My, my... how lively of you..." Dana commented on his words, sounding rather amused. "It's good to be young, isn't it?"
