Yuki Kaneko stared down at the blue and yellow mask he held delicately in his hands. To him, the object was worth more than his own life. Simply holding it filled him with an overwhelming sense of awe...and nervousness. He'd visited his brother in the hospital earlier today, explaining this was his first official match in the notorious LAW federation. His sibling had reacted positively, beaming at him and giving him an encouraging thumbs up! "Super jealous, I never got to wrestle there myself! Go show them the might of Blue Thunder Mask, Yuki!"

Hearing those words only added to the immense pressure that weighed down upon his shoulders...but he couldn't let that shake him. Not tonight. Not for his debut in new territory. He'd heard the other girl he was facing with a newcomer too, but the name rang a distant bell in his head...Sonic Knight? It gnawed at him like a dog chewing a bone, but he had to put the thought aside for the time-being. Staring at himself in the mirror, wearing his blue and yellow trunks with chaps that exposed his thighs, along with matching boots and wrist bands. He pulled at the neck band he wore to make certain it was secure, along with the bands he'd tied onto his elbows to test if they were tight enough.

Now just one final touch...the mask. He laid it across his face and fixed it on, clapping his cheeks tight before curling his fists into knuckles to psyche himself up. "Perfect." At that moment, a knock on his locker room door signalled the cue to prepare for his entrance. "Let's go bring the thunder." Emerging into the corridor leading down to the entrance ramp, he heard the sound of his name being chanted by devoted fans who had come to their first LAW show just to cheer him on...no pressure...no pressure....none whatsoever...

Blue Thunder Mask

He burst out to the introduction of his theme, blue and yellow fireworks shooting off either side as he shot both fingers into the air with a yell that sounded like a war-cry. Grinning at the cheering masses as he stood there in the spotlights that shone overhead, he began to make his way down the ramp while slapping hands. Once he got into character like this, his nerves didn't bother him so much. Besides, he couldn't let his demeanour slip! That would bring shame upon his family, his lineage! The history of Blue Thunder Mask itself!

Arriving at the ring, he seized the bottom ropes with both hands and pulled himself up onto the side. And then, shifting his hands to the top ropes, he leapt over them to roll into the ring and to the centre, crouching as he gave a fist pump in salute to the crowd. The weather forecast predicted a storm with imminent thunder, and he was going to make sure it was 100% accurate. Getting back onto his feet, he stepped to the corner and awaited the arrival of his opponent, bending his arms and legs with some light stretches before she arrived...

Haruna Mishima was in her locker room, preparing herself for her debut here in LAW. She had been wrestling for quite a while in Ring Dream and at Mexico, and now, she would be making her appearance here in Japan against another debuting wrestler. Outside of prying eyes, she was a plain, unassuming girl, but upon donning her in-ring persona, she was a dark heroine who would show the true meaning of fear. The moment she donned her obsidian tiara, she was no longer Haruna Mishima. She was now the Emissary of Darkness, Sonic Knight.

When her theme song, Dark Prison, was played, Sonic Knight stepped out to the ramp, adopting a primal stance with her back hunched slightly. Fog from the fog machines started coming out as she suddenly broke into a sprint, running towards the ring where she would leap into it, sticking a perfect landing. After that, she would straighten herself, displaying a toothy grin that was often associated with the dark heroine. Her face was also painted with facial marks, adding more to her sinister looks.

The crowd gave her mixed reactions, and the dark heroine just smirked at them before she turned her attention on her opponent, a newcomer who called himself Blue Thunder Mask. Still showing her toothy grin, she placed her hands on her hips as she studied him. After a while, she said, "So... are you going to be my sacrifice for tonight?" The way she spoke was quite theatrical and while the way she acted might be a bit subdued compared to her light counterpart, Sonic Cat, she was definitely bombastic in her way of delivering her words.

After a few moments of keeping himself busy in the ring, the theme of his opponent began as Sonic Knight arrived on the ramp. She held herself like a feral beast on the prowl, ready to engage in a fight to the death. Fortunately, they were just wrestling, but it was clear that Blue Thunder Mask couldn't afford to underestimate the dark heroine. Her bold leap into the ring, sticking a landing that was nothing short of perfection was a testament to her skill. He had to admit, he was impressed. And those facial marks that painted her face, adding to her savage appearance...it did make her a little intimidating. The crowd was divided in their support of her. Such cheered, while others jeered. At least he had gotten a mostly positive reception.

Up close, she seemed familiar...the name rang again in his head...Sonic Knight...Sonic...Knight...when she addressed him with that dramatic tone, it sealed the deal for him. Now he knew who she was!

"Whoa! Sonic Knight? THE Sonic Knight from Ring Dream?!" His eyes widened behind his mask as he went into full fanboy mode. "Your Plasma Finishers are so cool! I thought you were still in Mexico!" The ref regarded him with a bit of a frown, perhaps advising him to get back into character as he coughed awkwardly before his lips curled into a smirk, a hand on his own hip as he met her in the middle of the ring for a classic showdown of hard stares.

"Sacrifice? Sorry, not on my agenda tonight. I did come to win though." The masked male advised her with a cheeky grin. "Because you just wandered into the storm, lil' miss. And I am going to bring the thunder down hard on you." With his own threat hanging between them, Blue Thunder Mask backed up while maintaining eye contact with her, rolling his shoulders as he prepared for the sound of the bell to commence their match. The crowd was loving the tension between the pair, lapping it up as they cheered for their respective favourites.

Sonic Knight blinked when her opponent went fanboy mode, though she quickly regained her bearing, still keeping her dark persona as she grinned darkly at him. Hearing the boast from Blue Thunder Mask, Sonic Knight just chuckled as she then replied, "Storm? Hah, I'll be the judge to that. As of right now, you are nothing but a gentle gust of wind..." she said, still maintaining her dark smirk as she would prepare herself for the match. Like her opponent, she also maintained her eye contact with him as she waited for the match to begin. "Try to prove me wrong..."

And then, the bell was sounded, and Sonic Knight would begin her move, gauging her opponent as she moved to the side. She would carefully study her opponent's movement, trying to figure out the best way to approach him. At the moment, she didn't make any move to engage him in a grapple as she seemed to be waiting for Blue Thunder Mask to make his first move. She would keep her eyes on him as she would formulate some plans in her head as she would think of the best way to approach this opponent.

She's definitely got some spunk to her! He likes that. It adds an extra depth to a match when there's a bit of verbal back and forth to match the physical contest between opponents. And that smirk of hers was dangerous. Challenging him to bring only his best against her, or he'd regret stepping into this ring. With a crack of his knuckles, he maintained his plucky grin. "Oh? That's only natural, Sonic Knight. Surely you've heard of the calm before the storm?" Blue Thunder Mask replied back. "Because that's where you are right now, preparing to face the elements head on...all I can say is, don't blame me by the end of tonight!"

He held the ropes in his corner for one final stretch, leaning forward, before releasing his hands to shake the wrists free of his tension and nerves. It's unfamiliar ground for him here. Anyone can stand in a ring, but in an arena such as LAW? It took all of his mental fortitude not to be a jittering wreck. As the bell rang clear, he kept a watchful eye on Sonic Knight...and when the dark heroine moved to the side, he mirrored her movement. He could tell she was assessing the situation, as all wrestlers do in the opening seconds of their matches. Attack? Go on the defensive? Rile up the crowd? There were plenty of options for them both at this early stage! And the masked male had decided on his own.

"What's wrong? Got cold feet?" He smirked at her from the centre of the ring. "I think the crowd here wants to know which of us is stronger, right?" A deafening roar from the audience rose up at his question as he held a hand out in gesture to them, as if to say 'told you' before he brought his arms up, rotating his wrists as he beckoned at his female opponent in silence before raising his arms yet again. The invitation was clear. To lock up with him in a grapple to see who could overpower the other.

Sonic Knight carefully watched her opponent, who decided to taunt her. The dark heroine merely scoffed, knowing better that her opponent was simply trying to provoke her. But, even she knew that the two of them were going nowhere with them gauging each other with neither making the first move. So, Sonic Knight would step forward, seeing that Blue Thunder Mask had already brought his arms up, seemingly preparing himself to lock up with the dark heroine.

"Very well... how foolish of you..."

Sonic Knight said enigmatically as she would then lock up with Blue Thunder Mask in the grapple, and she would begin pushing against the man. While she might be smaller and slimmer than him, the dark heroine prided herself as someone who packed quite a punch in the small package. Pushing against her male opponent, she would try to push against him, hoping to overpower him with her sheer strength. Even so, there was also a chance that the two of them might enter a stalemate.

She accepted his invitation to lock up, Blue Thunder Mask grinning as he felt the dark heroine begin to exert her force against him. He ground his heels into the canvas under him as he pushed back against her...for someone that was smaller and slimmer than himself, she was surprisingly strong. "Heh...not...bad...I'm impressed!" He grunted out through his clenched teeth, maintaining his grin. They seemed equally matched here, to the point that neither of them refused to give in. The result was a stalemate in the centre of the ring...think...think...how to break this...?

The idea struck him like a stray bolt of lightning. As subtle as he could manage, he began to let Sonic Knight take over the lock up, pushing him back. His feet stepped gradually behind himself as the masked male used a little less strength...enough that the female would eventually force him to the corner, where his back hit the steel pole. "Guess you've got me." The blue haired boy confessed, before suddenly attempting to turn the tables on her by swinging the girl to switch places with her! "Or not!" If he was successful, he would seize the ropes and duck down low to ram his shoulder into her gut!

Sonic Knight smirked as she started to gain an upper hand over her male opponent, pushing him towards the corner. Still, she somehow suspected that something was afoot, and she would remain cautious as she would keep exerting her strength in order to bring her opponent back first to the turnbuckle. But then, when Blue Thunder Mask's back touched the corner, the male wrestler suddenly swung her, causing the dark heroine to yelp. Before she knew it, the two of them ended up switching places, with her back touching the turnbuckle.

Not only that, Blue Thunder Mask also went to deliver his attack as he grabbed onto the ropes and ducked low before he rammed his shoulder right into her belly, causing Sonic Knight to gasp as air was forcefully driven out of her lungs. Her eyes went wide as her mouth was wide open. This left her breathless and cornered, though Sonic Knight tried to salvage her situation by grabbing onto the top ropes before attempting to push her male opponent away with one of her feet.

He managed to turn the tables on her, reversing their positions so that she was the one trapped. He crouched his body down to prepare for his next move. His shoulder buried itself into her stomach, the wind exploding out of her lungs from the impact! Yes! But it was too early to celebrate, and far too early to call the match over in his favour. The Dark Heroine had a reputation for enduring heavy hits, and this was no exception as she grabbed the top ropes before raising her leg, attempting to force the blue haired boy back. Her heel pushed him away from her, prompting a scowl from the masked male.

"Sorry, but I'm not gonna let you relax just yet!" Blue Thunder Mask warned her. The boy would bend his legs and leap up onto the middle ropes, balancing his weight on them as his upper body loomed over Sonic Knight's. The skylights above would be eclipsed by his body as he grabbed her hair, trying not to be too rough as he prepped his other fist to begin raining blow after blow on her face! He'd beckon the crowd to count each hit, and they were only too happy to comply! "One, two, three...!"

Even as Sonic Knight pushed Blue Thunder Mask away from her with her foot, she wasn't out of danger just yet. She tried to recover at the corner, hoping that she could fight back her opponent, but it looked like Blue Thunder Mask wasn't going to go away and give he such opportunity as he leaped up onto the middle ropes, balancing his weight on them. His body loomed over the dark heroine, and at that position, he went to grab her by her head before he started pummeling her in her face, getting the crowd to count as he hit her.

"Ughh!! Aghh!! Uaghhh!!"

The hits left Sonic Knight reeling, but she wasn't about to let this man bully her like that. Growling and gritting her teeth, she would release one of her hands from the rope before attempting to push Blue Thunder Mask away from her, even though it might be a futile attempt. She hoped that she could push Blue Thunder Mask off of the ropes, sending him down onto the mat.
