Match type: Submission match
Rules: Standard Pro Wrestling
Reflecting on his interaction with fellow newcomer Madison Knox, Daichi sort of regretted telling her that he would never back down from a challenge. Not because it wasn't true, because he was the type of wrestler who wouldn't back down from a challenge even against a stronger and more experienced opponent, but due to the fact that he wanted to avoid the awkward situation of having a confrontation against someone whom he was sharing a space with. Things got even more awkward when, at the tail end of the interaction, Madison was clearly using her charm and beauty to get him flustered. Daichi was no good at these things and easily melted at the slightest bit of flirting whereas Madison was fully using her seductive charm to have her way with him.
This woman was trouble and Daichi knew it. What was even more strange is that the name "Madison Knox" clung onto his mind for some reason. After their locker room debacle, he searched her up and...he knew it! Madison Knox was wrestling royalty! Daughter to a famous power couple and grand-daughter to an absolute wrestling legend. She was quite talented in the ring, with many fans adoring her due to her ability and lineage. In front of the crowd and on the mic, she seemed like a very nice person. The classic wrestling baby face as you would say it but then why....why was she so different when it came to the two of them being alone? Daichi was confused for what had happened- did he do something wrong? Did he catch her on a bad day? Or was it a case of the old saying "Never meet your heroes".
Regardless, there was no getting out of it. The only way he could make all this go away, was if he were to defeat Madison in a match. That would be the only way to make her know he was serious about being the best here at LAW and forcing her to respect him.
Not wanting another run-in with his new locker-room mate, Daichi made sure to quietly slip into their shared locker an hour before the match. Not only did he not want a repeat of what happened last week, he didn't want to give Madison a chance to get him flustered before the match. "Okay okay good, no one's here. Now's my chance" he said, quickly making his way in. Daichi would quickly strip naked before heading to the showers, hot or cold it didn't matter, time was of the essence.
After taking the shower, he would stumble, trip and fumble outside of the shower area back to the locker area. Without a towel and water dripping onto the floor. "Crap, Crap, Crap!" he said, balancing himself. There was no time to mop or run a floor viper to clean the wet floor. Opening up his locker door, he would put his phone and watch in while holding the deodorant spray bottle in his mouth as he was rushing things. Opening up the can, he sprayed himself with Axe body spray all over, perhaps even over-doing it.
"Come on, Come on!" he said, holding the can once again in his mouth while grabbing his underwear, hopping on one leg as he would put it on. "Phah!" he threw out the can from his mouth as it fell to the floor, making a loud clanging noise as it fell. "Shiiiiit! No, no...there's no time" he said to himself. With that, he would unzip his gym bag and take his black with white and orange stripped wrestling briefs out and quickly put them on. Finally, he sat down and quicky put on his matching black and orange wrestling boots on and he was ready. Spoiler
"Time to head out! Oops, before I forget" he said before grabbing a sticky note and pen, writing Gomenasai (sorry) for the mess <3 on it before sticking it onto Maddie's locker. With that, he quickly ran out.
An hour later, it was time for the main event. Daichi was already changed and ready in the gorilla position, when his theme hit the LAW arena he would rub his thumb against his nose with a smirk and would head out to the LAW Arena. The crowd cheered for the young rookie who was considered the "Underdog" of LAW. Tough past, no family, came from a poor background. Many of the crowd wanted him to succeed but truly no one against him a chance against going up in a match against wrestling dynasty and legacy.
Daichi was all smiles as he walked down the ramp and made it towards the wrestling ring, hopping up the ring apron first before doing a quick jump over the top rope and landing on his feet inside of the ring. He would chuckle and fist pump the air, showing off his enthusiastic charm and attitude to the crowd which they did seem to enjoy. With that, young Daichi would make his way towards the corner of the ring and start doing some light stretches- twisting at the hip, rolling his shoulders, bending forward to touch his toes.
Now that he knew how good Maddison was, he was in for the biggest match in his wrestling career. He could not lose, this was his chance!

The faint haze hit her nose before she even stepped past the doorway. A thick, cloying scent of… was that Axe body spray? Madison stood dead in her tracks, wrinkling her nose as if she’d just stepped into a teenage boy’s bedroom. She fanned her hand in front of her face, coughing as the odor clawed at her through, irritating her eyes and nose.
Trudging into the miserable locker room as if she had been condemned to death, what awaited her seemed no better. The floor was a minefield of puddles and streaks of water, as though someone had wrestled an octopus fresh out of the ocean through the tiles. Water pooled around the archway leading to the showers from poor drainage making the divide between rooms look like marshlands. She glanced toward the showers, holding her breath as she leaned into the locker room. She half expected to see some horrid creature come crawling out from the darkness, but no, she appeared to be alone.
She stepped gingerly through the puddles, sneakers squeaking against the tile. Somewhere in the middle of the floor lay an abandoned can of body spray. She toed it squeamishly as if it were evidence at a crime scene, the clang echoing again as it rolled under the benches.
“Brilliant. He bathes like a lunatic, nearly floods the room, and tries to gass us out like it’s a high school dance" Her green eyes settled on the note stuck to the lockers, the corner of her eye twitching. A sticky note slapped onto her locker door. He had the audacity to apologise for the mess with stationary.
Her lips parted in sheer disbelief, then curled into the faintest smirk of rage. “A heart. He left a heart.” Madison muttered to herself, peeling the note off with two careful fingers as if it were laced with something contagious.
She crumpled the sticky note into a tight little ball and flicked it into the waste bin with a snap of her wrist. “No need for sorrys… Daichi.” She practically chewed on his name with a gnarl of her teeth. “After I finish with you, you’ll be back to clean this mess up.” Madison Knox
High Hopes - Panic! At the Disco
The opening chords of her theme hit, and the crowd erupted as Madison Knox strut onto the stage flashing that picture-perfect smile she’d been trained to wear since childhood. She raised her arms high, basking in the cheers, the very model of a radiant young star.
But behind the gleam of her pearly smile, her jaw was clenched. She made her way down the ramp, with a light jog, sparing the crowd a few more smiles and an ample supply of waves. She was performatively bright and buoyant, but each of her steps were heavy, more stomps than graceful prancing. Sliding into the ring with a fluid grace, Madison posed on the ropes, glowing for the cameras. The moment she turned her gaze to Daichi though that joy and light was gone. She snorted softly, the smell of his body spray still thick in her nostrils.

Something really told him that Madison would really not be happy seeing the state of the locker room in the condition he left it in. However, having witnessed it before hand, her anger was a lot more bearable than her seductive mind games. He had to be there and change as quickly as possible rather than risk running into her in the backstage area or worse, their locker. He had a hunch and his hunch soon proved to be true. It was quite clear that Madison was not the person who she pretended to be in the ring, in promos and public appearances. If she was, she would be walking down the ramp fuming, there would be no smiles at all and she would come straight after him given how she treated him when they fist met. The fact that Madison pretended to be all smiles, coupled with that faint hint of suppressing her anger all but confirmed that she was the Golden Child just when the cameras were rolling.
Daichi wondered why though? She had the looks, the fame, the wealth and the figure! Perhaps it was act to preserve the family legacy? When she was done posing for the crowd and cameras, she would prop down onto the ring from the top turnbuckle and turn to face him. Her mood seemed to change but Daichi still offered her a smile and a wave before slapping his own wrist and shaking his head, quickly pretending to have a very serious looking face when he remembered they were supposed to be wrestling as rivals and not shatter the illusion of kayfabe.
The referee called the two over to the middle of the ring for a face off. Nodding, Daichi would walk over to the middle of the ring with his hands on his hips, ready to go head to head, nose to nose against his opponent. "Eh-hehe, I take it you're upset? Youuuu didn't see my note? I said I was sorry" he would say in a low tone, making sure no one in the front seats of the crowd picked up on their conversation. "Good luck Ms. Knox, lets have a good match" he said, offering her a handshake.

Madison crossed her arms beneath her chest as she strolled toward the center of the ring, each step slow, deliberate, brimming with quiet irritation. One brow arched high at what Daichi dared to pass off as a second apology, the corner of her mouth twitching with restrained scorn. She could be unreasonable at times, not that she’d ever admit it, but this wasn’t one of them. The state he’d left the locker room in was inexcusable, not just to her, but to anyone. Any shred of sincerity in his words had drowned the moment he’d slapped that pitiful note on her locker and walked away. He’d had time to clean, she knew it. She’d been there until the match was called.
“Oh, I saw the note,” Madison said, voice flat, her gaze narrowing like sharpened glass. “You think you’re sorry now? Wait until I’m finished with you. Then you’ll really know what sorry feels like.”
Her eyes dropped to his extended hand, her lip curling as though she half-expected it to be filthy. To her surprise, it looked clean enough. She let it hang for a moment, letting him sweat under her scrutiny, before finally taking it as the referee’s recitation of the rules wound down. Her grip was firm, almost crushing, and the shake lingered longer than it should have.
“I don't think I'll be needing any luck,” she breathed with a low chuckle, as she continued to shake his hand for some reason.
Ding!
The instant the bell rang, Madison’s grip snapped tight, trying to yank Daichi forward into her space. In one fluid motion her boot lashed upward, to bury itself hard into his midsection, trying to double him over. A cheap shot, yes, but perfectly legal.
“I think my match,” she purred with a small smirk, “will go just fine.”

His suspicions were right. Madison was really, really angry! If her faint expressions did not give it away, then surely when they met face to face and spoke all but confirmed that she was pissed. Sure, in hindsight, he probably should have stayed back and cleaned it. There was time to do so, but he couldn't risk bumping into her in the locker room. He was not going to risk a repeat of what happened last time. She threatened to make him sorry, making his innocent smile disappear. She then took a moment to think but eventually did accept his handshake, probably because she didn't want to look like the bad guy in front of everyone especially when they didn't know what happened in the back.
Her grip was firm, she wanted to assert dominance right away and let him know that she was serious about making him sorry. Madison refuted his good sporting gesture of offering her luck, instead she kept shaking his hand. That is, until the bell rang! As soon as it did, she used the grip of his hand to pull him in and raise her boot into hi abdomen. "Guuugh!" Daichi cried out, spittle flying off his mouth from the sudden strike which caused him to double over.
He coughed a bit but remained determined, if she wanted to play hardball- he was game. "*Cough* Heh...we'll see about that" he said with a light chuckle. Suddenly, he would wrap his arms around her mid-section and shove into her, picking her up and shoving her back into the corner turnbuckle! If his plan worked, he would remain bent forward and begin to drive his shoulder into her abdomen a couple of times!

“Tch.” Maddie tilted her chin, peering down her nose at Daichi as he reeled. For being such an insufferable loser, he was built solid. Her cheap kick hadn’t folded him as neatly as she’d hoped. She scoffed at his words, about to retort when his arms clamped around her waist. As he barreled forward, she staggered, stumbling as he brought her slamming into the corner.
“Uff-!” The sudden crash of his frame into her midsection knocked the air from her lungs, and Madison’s back slammed against the turnbuckles making them groan. Her arms hooked over the ropes to steady herself, but Daichi drove in again, another heavy thrust burying itself into her stomach. A sharp gasp escaped her lips, equal parts frustration and pain. As her knees wobbled and threatened to buckle.
As Daichi pulled back for a third ram, Maddie hauled herself upward, gripping the top ropes and yanking her body weight off the corner pads. In an instant, her legs swung open and wide then snapped in as he thrust his body into the air, attempting to capture his head between her thick thighs. His own momentum to betrayed him, carrying him headlong into the trap! Maddie scooted back to perched her rump herself on the top turnbuckle like it was her throne.
She leaned forward, reaching down to seize his wrists and with deliberate force she yanked them outward and upward to spread them wide. She wanted to rob him of his ability to struggle free by twisting his arms taut while she ground him down between her long powerful legs.

Sure, Daichi was the underdog. Sure, he was going up against wrestling royalty, a dynasty in fact. He did not care though! No matter how tough, how strong, how talented his opponent was- he was going to dig deep and fight, scratch and crawl his way to a victory. If he were to defeat a silver spooned wrestler like Madison, surely he would cement the start of his own wrestling legacy. Off to a rocky start, it did not break his confidence too much because he fired back with a quick counter. After slamming her back first into the corner, he would thrust his shoulder into Madison again and again.
The first two strikes worked, knocking the wind out of the supposed baby face wrestler, making her groan in pain while he smirked in confidence which was hidden from Madison's view as he was looking downwards. Going in for a third shoulder thrust, things took a turn for the worse. The nimble blonde would prop up using the top ropes, pushing herself up in the air while Daichi rammed forward and hit the air. Not only that, she would clamp her legs around his head while sitting on the top turnbuckle, grabbing his arms and yanking them upwards while twisting them.
"Gah! Ahhh owww" he moaned in pain, squirming under her while she squeezed his head and controlled his arm. "Tch, I-I can do this" he muttered to himself as he only had his legs to maneuver around. Daichi tried to use his legs to vault himself towards Madison, doing a half flip to try and bring his legs upwards towards Madison while being upside against her with the headscissors partly giving him the leverage that he needed to stay in that position. He tried to catch her head between his legs and attempt a huricanranna to try and bring her down from the top turnbuckle to the middle of the mats!

Maddie strained as she twisted Daichi’s arms, giving them a quick, violent jerk as though she were trying to crack a pair of whips. Her thighs clenched in deliberate pulses, her control immaculate, each squeeze sending a ripple of pressure through his trapped head. Perched high on the turnbuckle, she looked every bit the queen in command, smirking down as the crowd buzzed at the humiliating sight.
“Pathetic,” she breathed airily, almost whimsically, while wrenching his wrists outward again, basking in the struggle beneath her. Each flex of her legs only deepened the snug trap, Madison’s body language radiating smug superiority.
But Daichi wasn’t done.
The rookie suddenly exploded upward, forcing his own momentum into a desperate counter. Maddie’s eyes widened in a split second of disbelief as his legs snapped up around her head. Her fingers fell away from his wrists, reaching up to try and disengage herself. Before she could pry him loose, her perch on the ropes became her undoing.
The world flipped.
Her body was wrenched from its lofty perch, ripped down from the turnbuckle as Daichi swung his weight. The crash of the hurricanrana slammed Madison hard into the canvas, the back of her head bouncing against the mat with a nasty thud. Skipping with a smaller second and third bounce until she settled in the center of the mat.
She lay sprawled, blonde hair strewn in messy tangles, chest rising and falling in sharp, uneven breaths. Arms spread out to either side as if she meant to make snow angels on the canvas., That smug grin had been wiped rather quickly from her lips. Her leg twitched against the mat, the aftershock of impact leaving her glassy-eyed and dazed. For all her control just moments before, Maddie Knox was left reeling, the roar of the crowd now aimed squarely at Daichi’s sudden reversal.

Judging by the counter she just managed to perform, Daichi could tell that Madison was a formidable opponent. The leap, the catch of his head and the trapping of his arm all expertly done. Still, if she thought that Daichi would roll over for her like he was some amateur- she had another thing coming. Using his acrobatic ability, he would thrust himself forward and catch her head in between his legs. Using the momentum to swing back, he managed to flip her off her little imaginary throne and bring her down to reality, which in this case was the mats! Her back smacked against the mats and she would groan in pain, momentarily stunned with her arms and legs sprawled out.
Daichi huffed and puffed, quickly getting back up to his feet while hearing the crowd cheer for him. No doubt stealing the cheers from the fan favourite Golden Girl was probably going to get her even more angry. He also caught her little taunt when she called him pathetic, he wondered why the crowd even cheers for such a person. He shook those thoughts away before walking over towards Madison. Reaching down to grab her hair, he would force her up into a seated position.
From there, Daichi would sit down behind her and wrap his legs around her waist while his underarm coiled around her neck, pulling her body back towards him in a Dragon Sleeper submission! With that, he would begin to squeeze her in both submissions as he looked to get an upset over wrestling royalty. "Don't worry, I showered and used deodorant so I smell nice!" he would whisper to her. The referee would slide next to them, checking if Madison wanted to submit.

Maddie’s eyelids fluttered as she stared hazily up at the blinding ceiling lights, the roar of the crowd muffling into a dull wash of sound. She barely registered Daichi’s shadow before his hands knotted into her soft blonde locks, tugging her upright into a seated position. Her head rolled with the motion, the world tilting as she gave it a faint shake, trying to orient herself. She slumped forward, body leaning as though it might simply tip back onto the canvas at any moment.
Daichi didn’t allow it. His legs cinched tight around her waist, locking her in place before her body could crumple. A startled blink, then another, her hands pawed weakly at the mat, patting aimlessly at the pressure closing in. When his arm snaked around her neck and drew her head back, the blonde could barely summon resistance before the dragon sleeper was secured snug against her throat, drawing her back.
A low groan slipped free as her frame writhed in the hold. Her boots scraped against the canvas in restless scuffs, her back arching hard against the choke. The motion puffed her chest out, her leotard straining as every labored breath grew tighter. Her hand rose, fingers grazing over his arm, first feeble and fluttering, then digging more urgently as panic sharpened the edges of her dulled mind.
How? The question pounded with every heartbeat in her ears. How had this rookie managed to make a fool of her? Was she really about to be humbled this brutally, before the match had even begun in earnest?
