"That many huh?"

Yup. The record books were not flattering in the slightest; Kasey glared with a unimpressed look on His face at the screen relaying the statistics of each wrestler in tonight's bout. Thinking back to how He felt after His first major loss, He figured it would be a learning experience- something to help propel Him only higher as He learned from the ordeal in order to better Himself for the next match. Instead- He found that the only time He had any chance at success was when His more dominant tag team partner was alongside Him. Was having a partner like that a crutch? Had Kasey gone completely soft from the expected result that His partner would be able to help solve all His problems in the ring? Kasey only ever thought about winning beforehand but tonight- Tonight Kasey was thinking about what it meant to actually compete.

Sighing loudly, Kasey barely glanced at the screen as it flashed to His opponents image and stats- a relative newcomer to LAW, putting Him in the prime doormat position He had found Himself at in the past. The tertiary stats told Him enough- submissions, endurance, yadda-yadda-yadda... Another experienced wrestler with stars in Her eyes of translating Her training and ability to a in-ring showcase at His expense. Whatever; Kasey was already content with the fact He overestimated His own technical prowess within the ring. But what He reminded Himself to be capable of- was playing dirty.

"THE FOLLOWING IS SCHEDULED FOR PINFALL OR SUBMISSION! MAKING HIS WAY TO THE RING... KASEY CRASS!"

Sauntering out onto the entrance ramp, Kasey maintained His typical suave-guy persona; looking about as uncaring as one could look when entering an arena with hundreds of people. His minimalist attire accentuated His body extremely tightly- communicating His intent to be on top no matter the situation. Of course despite that situation being rarely given to Kasey; He gave no indication of meekness or nervousness. Slowly clambering up the steel steps, He gazed uncaringly into the crowd before climbing through the ropes and stepping foot in the ring. Trotting off to the opposite corner, Kasey leaned back in a relaxed manner as He awaited His opponent- Cool on the outside while calculated on the inside... This would be a interesting night.

As Callista watched the names dance across the screen, the numbers seemed constantly changing, always flickering wins and losses in each column even for the most experienced fighters. This was what confused Callista the most, arguably the biggest distinction between the grittier MMA circuits she had made her way around. The statistics seemed to matter so much more here, but she was more used to fighting above everything. From her high powered kicks to her lightning fast elbows, she was used to letting her strikes drone out the world around her into a low buzz, nothing more than an afterthought as she channeled her energy into the moment at hand. It was this thrill that she came to know and love, being in the eye of the storm mid fight, and a sensation she was hoping to capture in this new environment.

Callista's eyes lazily drifted to her match, an opponent named Casey Krass. A grappler huh? Doesn't seem too overcomplicated or anything I should look out for. This should be a good warmup match. Callista chided to herself. Deep down, she knew better than to underestimate an opponent who could knock her lights out with a swift kick. But here in the pro wrestling world, the theatrics and drama mattered just as much as the technical skills and physicality shown in the ring. Plus, a little boost of confidence couldn't hurt.

"AND HIS OPPONENT...FROM THE COSTAL STORMLANDS...CALLISTA "TEMPEST" CALDWELL!"

Emerging from the entrance ramp, Callista kept her stoic and stone faced expression as she walked past all the fans, occasionally giving some sideways glances and waves as she surveyed the crowd. Despite being overwhelmingly larger than the arenas she hailed from, she was all too familiar with what it took to tone out the audience. Besides, having a few extra spectators marvel at her skills as a strategist and fighter couldn't hurt. Callista calmly slide into the ring and walked around with a raised fist in the air, before retreating to her corner and stretching, slowly turning her gaze back to her opponent to study him before the inevitable clash.

As Callista made Her way down to the ring, Kasey did His best to study Her movements and appearance as much as possible- If He didn't want to make a fool of Himself yet again He would have to truly lock in to have a chance at winning something on His own. His silence was rather uncharacteristic as Her merely glared at Her up and down; a keen eye on each step She took as She stepped onto the apron and through the ropes. Just as figured from the tertiary info He had received, She was in quite good shape and suited the sort of competition He could see being a true main player in LAW! Although in Her mannerisms She looked as though She felt slightly out of place- perhaps something to exploit... Now He was cooking with gas, Kasey felt a little giddy that He finally felt that He derived a weakness from His opponent and would look to capitalize on it with His most dangerous weapon~

"Well well toots, nice look. Certainly looks like this is a big moment for you; in front of all these people... You ever been in arena this big with that little on..?" Kasey relaxed His posture and cocked His chin up to look down with a arrogant expression- "From the look of you I'd say you've never even performed much outside of a handful of overzealous onlookers at a gym~ Hope you don't do anything you might-" Strutting forward, Kasey made no reservations in showcasing His minimalist attire and body in a arrogant display of confidence to Callista; His arms relaxed at His side as He stepped to the centre of the ring and slowly manoeuvred His hips~ "Might regret?"

A cheeky wink was thrown Her way as He remained in a relaxed posture in the centre of the ring- awaiting either the bell to be sounded or Her to make a rebuttal.

His words spilled out almost immediately, the smugness in his tone filling the ring louder than the crowd. Callista didn’t blink. She let him posture, let him strut, let him wink—all of it noted, none of it returned. "So he's one of those kinds of characters. Great." She thought to herself. Callista was more accustomed to the stoic, stone-cold killer kind of opponents, ones who were more intent on breaking her than actually beating her. Kasey looked like he could win by boring her to death with his taunts. Still, she rolled her shoulders once, loosening her arms as if his taunting hadn’t even brushed against her. Being in new stomping grounds, Callista knew she needed to be on guard and take on any opponents who landed in her wake, should she want to climb the ladder.

Callista formulated her reply and instantly retorted with a roll of her eyes. "Please, I've seen your kind before. All bark, no bite." She began. She slowly massaged her hands and stretched out the last few kinks in her body, her ample assets defining her physique as a weapon able to dish out equal parts pain and pleasure. "Let's just hope you don't embarrass yourself when I'm finished mopping the floor with you..." but as Callista started cascading with her verbal assault, her gaze drifted down to Kasey's hips, finding the perfect note to end on. "...though it looks you've already got plenty to be embarrassed about."

The ringing of the bell signaled that the match had begun, and Callista took one last deep breath before readying herself for the storm. She planted one foot behind her and the other in front, hands jutted out in front of her, ready to tangle with Kasey's the moment he'd make the first move.
