Mayori's return to her native island of Japan was somewhat quiet after her overseas trip to America.
She had mail in her postal compartment, a few LAW staff notices slipped into her locker at the arena and she had one unpaid parking ticket for a car that wasn't hers. That last one was obviously mistakenly given to her since she doesn't drive. She nearly had a meltdown over that, but her Carnival GIrl sisters - Shaina, Amelia and Satsuki - assured her that it was delivered to her in error.
She relied heavily on her sisters for such matters as she didn't have a grasp of Common Japanese and spoke mostly in her native tongue of Hachijo, a dying language primarily used on an island far South of Tokyo.
Amelia, however, notified Mayori that one of the LAW notices was regarding a match draft card that the promotion was running at the end of the week. Mayori's number was drawn versus a male opponent named 'Isaiah Bowen', and they were to compete during a Saturday TV taping.
Mayori hadn't done an intergender match since she had left for America and she had only a day's rest to train for the bout. The demands of her home Japanese wrestling brand had not slowed down in the least. The American way of spacing wrestling shows was out, LAW was back in.
The Hachijo girl's reception by the crowd was warmer than ever.
She was greeted like a conquering hero after her stint in the American Southeastern wrestling scene. Her and her sisters had a fresh paint of international recognition that brought their hometown audience's appreciation. Mayori had learned to meet hands in the aisle with more warmth, herself. The fans didn't know her as well as they did, now. She was a fine ambassador during her time overseas and this intergender match's performance bar was set high.
She got into the ring, donning her now famous "CG" inspired gear, and bowed toward the official before recognizing the thousands on hand to see one of the first contests involving the crop of LAW girls that had returned from America with new international credit to their names.
Mayori's beautiful, white gear commanded attention when the spotlights found her. The lively tune that accompanied her to the ring was now recognized as the Carnival Girls' official entrance ballad.
The package with which she had become famous was all there. All that remained was her ring presence once her opponent joined her.

Re: Mayori vs. Isaiah "The Prophet" Bowen
Isaiah was somewhat surprised when his name came up for another intergender match, but, seeing as he just notched his first win a couple of days ago, he was eager to get back into the ring again. He was also eager to make what some would say the most...unique entrance in LAW. After his opponent's traditional Japanese sounding music began to fade, his own dark country song started, and Isaiah left, and the Prophet arrived:
Isaiah slowly came to the ring to the speed of his music, and he got the "ooh ahh" response he expected. A certain verse hit home especially hard:
Here on earth your own demons dwell
Like miracles but instead from hell
Now the enemy shows herself
But father where are you?
Through the darkness I've become lost
Searching for this to bear my cross
Now I'm ready to pay the cost
But will you be there too?
But, the chorus gave him all the inspiration he needed:
You gotta have faith
To deliver from evil
You gotta have faith
In the shadow of death
You gotta keep pace
Looking over your shoulder
You gotta embrace
Your final breath
You gotta take up
Your sinner's burden
To wear it on trial
Like a crown of thorns
You need to hold tight
Like a man on a mission
You gotta cut off
These devil's horns.
He entered the ring and looked at his rightfully perplexed opponent, who was surprisingly shorter than he was. Isaiah was used to being the short man in the fight, which meant this was something he had to get used too. He went into his coat and pulled out a Bible, opened to the Book of Isaiah and held it aloft. As his opponent looked Asian in origin, he wondered if such a thing even registered with her. No matter, all that's important is if she can wrestle, and only time will tell in that regard. He took off his entrance clothes and Bible and put them aside and waited for the bell to ring

Re: Mayori vs. Isaiah "The Prophet" Bowen
The match bell came and all of the pageantry was concluded.
Mayori's overseas conquest was forgotten by her fans only in favor of what she could do here against an opponent that knew the importance of theatricality.
The Hachijo girl ran her fingers through her hair and flipped it back over her shoulders before leaving her corner. This "Isaiah" had several inches of height over her and she knew that she would need to eliminate this advantage over the next 180 seconds if she was going to keep with her plan of wrestling a successful technical match. She needed to be quick and her footwork along the sides of the ring showed as much.
The latest Carnival Girl member kept her grappling stance above her waist and watched for an opening to evade Isaiah's first offensive movement. She needed to see what kind of a male wrestler LAW had imported. He could be British, which she knew hinted at a roughhousing style or technical. The same went for a performer from Canada. He didn't seem like he was from the lucha school of thought, but he did enter the arena with a mask.
There was much to consider, but Mayori would only find the answer in this first series of moves. Above all, she hoped that there wasn't a hidden, dominating heavyweight strength lingering in Isaiah's seemingly slimmer build. Such a wrestler could level her with the first blow and offer little margin for a counterstrike.

He actually got a good look at his opponent and slightly blushed, she was as cute as a button. He wasn't sure if he should wresle her or pinch her cheeks. Still, an opponent was an opponent, and he knew that his record wasn't the best. The bell rang, and the match started Isaiah decided to go for a lock up and go from there.
