This marks an auspicious moment for Domino. He's had a few matches with this promotion, and he's been doing fairly well. They've not been rolling in as quickly as he'd have preferred, but every little bit helps. Moreover, he's finally, finally found some actual music to use for his entrances. No more generic techno. Now his entrance will be heralded by a throbbing tune that speaks to what he's about; to overcoming, exceeding, and doing whatever it takes to succeed.
Aside from that, tonight's promotional material debuted a new image for him, featuring some new gear! He really shouldn't be so stoked about this, but dammit if he weren't! And it's a rather nice shot, if he can be a bit self-indulgent with it. New Promotional Image!
As if that weren't enough, he received news of who his opponent would be. Mae Madison! He's seen her wrestle before! Like, even before he left the States, and when she was wrestling in America! Absolutely gorgeous, athletic, competent, seemed to have a good personality - he might have had something of a crush on her before his own career became a distraction. But he's not only going to get to meet the blonde bombshell, but he'll be wrestling her? He may be the model here, but he'll have to make sure he doesn't gush at her. And from how it looks, she hasn't aged a damn day. Still mesmerizingly beautiful.
Already backstage and ready to go, Domino is sporting the brand new gear. Black and white elbowpads have been added to the mix, along with kneepads. Black and white flap-style boots are still the order of the day, with predominantly black, somehow slightly skimpier trunks featuring a few narrow white vertical stripes at the hips. He bobs from foot to foot, eager, anxious, pumped. His new music hits the arena... The Theme Music
As the song kicks on, smoke begins to flood the entryway. Purple and green laserlights fire off in array along the ramp, whirling in a smoothly fanned pattern. When the vocals begin, Domino steps out and thrusts his right fist into the air, greeting the cheering crowd with a radiant smile. He only soaks in the praise for a moment before starting down the ramp, drifting from one side of the aisle to the other to dole out highfives, fistbumps, and the occasional hug to his more particularly zealous female fans. Upon reaching the edge of the ring, he hops up onto the apron, grabs the top rope, and smoothly vaults himself over. Momentum unbroken, he makes his way to the next turnbuckle on his right and climbs to the second ropes. There, his fist is thrust in salute again, beaming out at the crowd before thumping that fist over his heart.
At last, he drops down to turn and face the ramp. As the referee-girl inspects him for weapons or contraband (where would he even keep it?), his amethyst eyes are glued in rapt anticipation for Mae's appearance.
Mae Madison would be having another match tonight. Last time, she got herself her first loss here in LAW, and she aimed to improve her showing in the ring by winning this one, and this time, the match would be a mixed match. The blonde American, clad in her star-spangled wrestling outfit, which accentuated her curvy and well-built figure, waited for her cue to make her entrance. She watched her opponent making his appearance into the ring, nodding a few times. Then, it was her turn to show up.
Her patriotic-sounding theme blared from the loudspeakers, and the blonde patriotic wrestler stepped out to the ramp, receiving a huge pop from the crowd. It seemed that despite the fact that most of the audience were Japanese in terms of ethnicity, Mae was somehow popular among them. Perhaps it was due to her rather exaggerated love towards anything American and the fact that she was a skilled wrestler that made her rather well-loved among the crowd. Mae Madison
Taking energetic strides down the ramp, Mae would go down to the ring, where her opponent for tonight was waiting for her. Soon, she reached the ring, and she would do one last pin-up pose at the apron before climbing it up, getting into the ring by rolling under the ropes. Springing back up onto her feet, she raised her arms and got herself another pop from the crowd. Basking in their cheers, the American would turn around to face Domino, who seemed ready to face her.
"Hi!" Mae greeted the man before her. "Gimme your best shot, okay?" She winked playfully at the man as she prepared herself for the match, doing some light stretches which allowed her to show off her body to the crowd. They certainly appreciated what they were seeing, and the blonde American grinned in satisfaction by the supports that the crowd was throwing at her way. Soon, she would entertain them by showing them what she was made of in the ring.
It was such an odd thing to behold, the way the audience seemed to like her. But Japan does have a thing for foreign spectacle. It might be a little uncharitable to judge the majority of them as ameriboos, but it's still surprising. It likely has as much to do with being the veritable ray of sunshine she appears to be, as anything else. But what a sight she is; as pretty as he'd expected, but a little more... something... when seen in-person.
He leans out of his corner and approaches the center of the ring, a small, but energetic bob to his step. "That's a guarantee," he assures with a wry half-smile.
It's pretty easy to rekindle that crush, he's finding. It's hardly even fair. But here tonight, she's his opponent and he needs to do everything he can to defeat her. It's just a little surprising, being paired up with her. That's all. Right? Right. Maybe.
The bell sounds off to start the match.
*DING*
Domino's hands raise, feet spread as he begins sizing her up. She looks as fit as ever, her body generously on display in that wrestling attire. He doesn't expect the match to be easy. He honestly doesn't want it to be easy. He likes her. He'd rather she have a good show tonight. But he has to dismantle her - he doesn't have a choice there. And taking her down would be a pretty good step in that direction.
He flashes forward, looking to start the match with a classic lockup.
Mae smiled at her opponent as she prepared herself for the match. She would wait for the match to begin, and when the bell was sounded, she would get into position, preparing herself to wrestle Domino. From the look of it, Domino seemed to be going for a classic lock up, and Mae would oblige her, bringing her arms up to surge forward as well, locking up with him in a grapple.
One arm would go to the back of her opponent's head while the hand of her other arm would go to his shoulder. Planting her feet on the mat, Mae would exert her strength to gain an upper hand over her opponent despite her being smaller and lighter than him. But she wouldn't keep the lock up for long as she would quickly transition the lock up into a side headlock, pulling Domino's head down and trapping him under her arm, pressing his cheek against the side of her breast.
Domino certainly isn't a pushover when it comes to strength, even if he isn't the chonkiest individual in the male roster. Nevertheless, he is surprised by the force she exerts so quickly, his original intention to ease into the lockup quickly abandoned.
One hand sets to her shoulder, the other behind her head at the nape of her neck. Feeling her fine blonde hair brushing along his hand and her body tensing in his grasp is somehow surreal, given how she'd been built up in his mind. Like grappling with a celebrity - regardless of his own mainstream status.
Make transitions the hold into a side headlock, and Domino all at once finds his face smushed against her breast. Eyes widen, his right hand immediately setting to her waist, while his left hand sets flat against her bare belly, feeling her abdominal tone.
This is going to be a nightmare to try and avoid distraction. Good lord. Why did it have to be her?
On the other hand, this could be a fine time to demonstrate his own skill, strength, and ability to her. How great would it be to impress her? Maybe make her a little swoony! And the only way to do that is to out wrestle her and come out on top!
The hand at her waist slides further along her body, hooking to her stomach. The other hand slips lower, grazing her hips before hooking her inner-thigh to heft the leg up. Properly grappled with her, he attempts to heft the blonde beauty into the air and arch his back, bringing her down to the mat head and shoulders first in a back suplex!
Trapping Domino in the side headlock, Mae planned to flip him over into a side headlock takeover, looking to throw him down into the mat. But it seemed that Domino knew how to handle being trapped in a side headlock as he grabbed at her waist and thigh before he threw her over with a back suplex, sending her crashing down into the mat, landing on the back of her shoulders.
"Ngh!!"
Upon landing, Mae would tuck her chin in to lessen the damage that she would take from the suplex, and upon landing, she would quickly roll over onto her knees, shaking her head slightly before brushing a few strands of blonde locks off her head, smiling confidently, indicating that the suplex would hardly slow her down. She would climb back up onto her feet to restart her clash with her opponent.
"Now that's a clever move. Need more than that to put me down, though."
Right after getting herself back on her feet, assuming that Domino was already on his feet after suplexing her, Mae would quickly run towards the ropes that were behind her, looking to get some momentum by rebounding from them. Then, she would launch herself towards her opponent, looking to hit him with a running hip attack at his body!
Indeed, Domino has already wheeled around onto his knee to face her before she recovers. And seeing her start to lift and paw through her hair just rekindles that years-old crush a little further. Damn, she's pretty. He's trying not to smile too much looking at her, but there's a little hint of something - just a small trace. Nothing he can vocalize, though!
She lifts to her feet, and he does as well. Expecting a frontal and direct attack, he readies himself to grapple with her again - only she's darting back from him and into the ropes. Cocky! His stance widens, preparing to weave outside of her attack and counter it. But instead of delivering with a good, normal, God-fearing clothesline or even dropkick, she pivots her body and launches herself hip-first! The number of times someone has used that on him can be counted on one hand, despite his own years of experience. The oddness of it all leaves him momentarily stunned, blinking at her.
Her hip collides with his muscled torso, taking him off his feet with a grunt. He carries the momentum into a backroll, ending in a crouch. A hand lifts to push a few ebon bangs from his right eye, similar to her previous action. Though he doesn't offer words, he quickly lunges in to meet with her again, this time looking to open up her defenses with a few body shots! First a low left hook aimed for the obliques, then a low right hook aimed for the pit of her toned and woefully tantalizing stomach.
Mae managed to land her butt right at Domino's body with her hip attack, though she only managed to get him down into a crouching position. Quickly regaining her footing, she observed her opponent who also recovered from her attack before he launched himself towards her, trying to hit her with a few body shots to her midsection.
Mae winced a little as she took one of those shots, but she brought her arms to protect her torso, defending herself from the rest of them. Knowing that she needed to stop Domino's from his assault, she would try to surge forward, hooking her arm around his head to pull him down into a side headlock before attempting to flip him over with a beautiful side headlock takeover. Domino was expecting a bit more force behind his punches, but it seems he has his work cut out for him. He'll need to wear down the blonde beauty's belly to really weaken her core. And a weakened core makes everything harder, more strained, and weaker. People underestimate the importance of the abdominal region.
But his fists find her forearms, if briefly, only to be caught in another side headlock. His cheek mashes into the cushion of her thinly-covered breast, his arms immediately wrapping her waist again. But this time, she seems to move more quickly. Domino is pulled over and dropped to the mat with her, his face pressed tighter against her breast.
His arms tighten around her waist, and his legs shift against the mat, balanced mostly on his hip. "You're really.. likin'.. squeezin' me.. aren't'cha?," he asks, finally finding his voice to tease the girl. And since they're in this position, he can maybe let her in on things. "I used to watch you.. before I came out to Japan..." His head shifts, attempting to get a little more leverage - but managing only to nuzzle his cheek against that breast. "Always wondered.. what meeting ya.. would be like..!"
Mae brought Domino down into the mat with a side headlock takeover, and she would maintain her hold on his head, pressing his cheek against the side of her breast. She would make sure to keep squeezing in order to keep her opponent under pressure. Hearing the words of her opponent, the American gal chuckled before replying, "Well, don't tell me you're not enjoying it?" Mae wanted to tease him a little as she would continue wrenching at his head.
As Domino tried to gain his leverage, with little success, he told her that he used to watch her before, and Mae tilted her head, somewhat curious. "Oh, well... there's no time like the present to figure that out," she cooed before she decided to test things out as she would quickly bring Domino's lower body down onto the mat, making sure to keep his shoulders on the mat for a quick pinfall attempt.
Of course, she fully expected him to break the pin. After all, the match was still at the beginning. She just assumed that a pinfall attempt would keep him under pressure even more, thus giving her more advantage over him. Seeing that Mae was going for a pinfall attempt, pressing herself against him, the referee would come over and start counting for the pin.
