From what he heard, it's yet another newcomer to the league, although that obviously wouldn't really affected his chance in this match. He had faced a lot of these so called newbies to know better by now. In any case, he couldn't wait for Ayumi to make her appearance and get things started.

The Velvet Vice sauntered to the middle of the ring, looking to him expectantly to come to her. “...And what a handsome young man you are.” The crowd rumbled with laughter and cheers, while Ayumi shifted her weight lazily from one leg to the other.

“Ayumi Tanaka, a pleasure to make your acquaintance…” She waved a hand in a light circling motion, looking for him to fill in the gap of who exactly he was for her.

It seemed that the newcomer already captivating the audience already. With a stunning look like that, it would be hard not to. Yuto watched her movement while trying to be a bit subtle about it, trying to avoid eye contact for the time being. Their eyes did eventually met each other, and he nodded timidly to her before making his way towards the center of the ring.

"Ishigami," he introduced himself with a nervous smile, bringing up his hand for a hand shake. "Or Yuto is fine. Let's, uh, let's have a good match..."

Now that they're standing in front of each other, the height difference between them became more apparent. It's somewhat normal for Yuto to face a bigger opponent, but he had to say that Ayumi's physique intimidated him a little despite not being that much taller or overly muscular than him. Her sweet demeanor seemed to make him a bit more at ease, but he also knew well that people's attitude could change fast once the bell rang.

As the referee was explaining the rules as part of the formality, Yuto was sneaking glances towards Ayumi to get a better look at her up close. These match's rules were nothing he hadn't heard before anyways. Once the official was done and the match was signaled to start, he'd brought up his arms for a grappling stance, but not taking the initiative. Ayumi seemed like physically stronger than him, so he decided to see if she'd initiate the lockup org going with something else.

Ayumi’s smirk softened when Yuto finally brought himself forward, his hand lifting for a shake. He took a deep breath like she suggested, and Her gentle touch as well as the sweet scent of her perfume somehow made him a little more relaxed. The boy also reminded himself that he shouldn't let his guard drop around her once the match began, though.

"Yes, let's..." he nodded in agreement.

Of course, "fun" was subjective, but with this kind of match, his kind of fun usually aligned with his opponent's. With Ayumi inviting him for the lockup, Yuto felt obliged to comply given how nice she had been so far. He engaged her and began to try pushing her, putting more than half his strength to test the water. Given her physical advantage, it's only right for him not to hold back too much.

Little by little, he'd start adding more pressure, hoping to push her back further, towards the ropes, or perhaps even maneuver her to the corner. On the other hand, should Ayumi pushed back and began to overwhelm him, then Yuto would try to draw her closer towards him before attempting to yank her to the side with the aim to unbalance her. From there, perhaps he could break off the lockup and lower himself to tackle her to the ground.

At first, Ayumi let him push. Her palms pressed against his arms, drifting subtly, feeling the strain of his muscles. He was working hard, he was leaning into her, and she gave ground in inches. Her sneakers slid back with a soft squeak against the canvas, her body swaying as though she were being tested and measured. A slow smile curled her lips.

“Mmm… strong boy,” she purred, lashes fluttering as if his effort were more intriguing than threatening. “Careful, if you keep pushing me like this, I might just fall for you.”

Her grip tightened by degrees, fingers lacing firmer against his arm and nape of his neck, rolling her shoulders forward as she began to answer in kind. The muscles in her arms and back came alive as she ramped up her strength, step by step, forcing him to adjust as she shifted him around the ring. Her smirk only deepened as the crowd reacted to the sight of Yuto starting to lose his edge, the momentum shifting under Ayumi’s deliberate pace.

When he suddenly tugged her sideways to unbalance her, she let out a small gasp and staggered a half step with the motion, playing into the stumble just long enough to sell the illusion. But as he ducked in low for the tackle, she was ready. Her frame braced, thighs grounding firm beneath her, and she caught him in her arms like it was the most natural thing in the world.

“Cute try,” she teased warmly, “But you’ll need to be quicker than that if you want to sweep me off my feet.”

In the same motion, her body shifted, one arm snaking up around the back of his neck. The other swept under his arm, threading tight until her fingers locked together at his shoulder. With a smooth squeeze, she cinched in a snug choke bent forward against her midsection.

However, soon enough the situation changed as she was putting more strength into it, and the boy was gradually being overpowered. While it was somehow expected, he couldn't help but to click his tongue as it felt like he's being fooled by her. His attempt to push her eventually changed into trying to hold his ground, and even then it wasn't enough.

His option was to try catching her by surprise and that seemed to work as he yanked her to the side. But the moment he went down to take her down with a tackle, Yuto once again fell for Ayumi's trap as she didn't budge.

"Uh-oh..." was all he could say as her arms then caught him before he could pull back. "Gah...!" the boy groaned as she caught him in a chokehold while also bending over to press his back. "Hnngg..."

It didn't take too long before Yuto was forced down onto one knee, and while he's still squirming and trying to loosen the hold, it didn't look like his effort would produce a favorable outcome for him.

One of his hands released her arm, trying to reach for her ankle. His intention was to try pulling his opponent's leg, hoping it'd make her slip or something.

Ayumi felt his hand fumbling, those desperate fingers brushing at her ankle like a man trying to catch hold of a lifeline. A small, throaty chuckle slipped from her lips, her breath warm against his back.
