Receive and Twist You - Hiroyuki Takijima vs Envy

Inhale. Exhale. The debut. The rush of energy came fast upon the atmosphere of the crowd settling into his form. He was freshly promoted at this point, having proceeded along in kicking the rust off. Personally, Hiro thought he'd do fine here. He just needed to make sure to keep himself tempered as he was trained to do, whether martially or medically. He ran a hand through his long hair, bringing a band backward while starting on his walk towards the center of the ring. He cupped a handful, pulling it to the rear and twisting the band into it so that it'd hold the hair in a straight line that trailed down his back musculature. Energetic guitars made themselves known, Hiro's mood being improved immensely by the comfort of vocals and blistering fast instrumental.

Perhaps his occupation out of necessity wouldn't be so bad after all. He didn't have a manager, so that left him in a spot where it was to be decided by temporary ones. He knew he could likely back out of matches but he hadn't encountered a reason to. Strangely, Hiro had not heard anything about his opponent per se. After all, he WAS new to this job in general. Fingers gripped the edge of the ring, bringing him to pull and get himself to the top where he'd saunter in through the ropes. Easy enough.

He interlocked his fingers and stared at where his opponent would presumably be coming from. On the topic of attire, it was a nigh completely black bodysuit with dark purple highlights along the midsection. Given the nature of their match, Hiro had also forgone any gloves and everything from the ankle down was left bare. A slight smile was on his face, more so as a gesture to motivate himself as he got back into the swing of things....Envy would be in for a ride, whether bumpy or smooth, that's for sure.

A submission match. Envy smiled to herself as she thought about it. Grappling was her specialty when it came to this sport, so that helped her to feel even more confident about her chances to earn the victory tonight. Still she had a talent even more useful to her, and it was not related to anything physical, it was mental. The Canadian was an expert at strategy and mental warfare, and she was going to use her talents this fight.

Once her theme sounded loudly at the arena, Envy made her way through the ramp towards the ring. Her demeanor and body language caused the crowd, which had just started to boo her, to stay quiet. The redhead had an special aura, and her eyes, cold as ice, seemed to take your soul out of your body.

As the crowd watched in awe, the Red Vixen walked up the steel steps of the ring and passed through the ropes casually and relaxed, as if she was entering her own home. Normally, wrestlers tended to feel at least some nerviousness or anxiety, but if the redhead felt that, she did not show it one bit. Her eyes and expression said it all: 'After all I have seen and experienced, this is just a walk in the park.'

The first action on her opponent's end was an impromptu raise of the eyebrow. His gaze scanned her from head to toe when she got closer, to gauge how she'd perform despite not having seen Envy in action before. The body was shorter than him, but filled with taunt strength ready to be unleashed. Not bad at all. The one who'd thrive off of others suffering and the one who thrives off of helping others. There was a contrast between the two....and only one would win.

Hiroyuki's gaze settled on to her face...noting how quiet the crowd had gotten as opposed to the rambunctious nature they'd exercised before. That is curious. Regarding her attire, Envy looked to him to have gone the route of a minimalist. It didn't cover as much as his rash guard or No Gi outfit did, leaving it hard for someone who thrived off of clothing, like Judoka, to use their techniques on her. Hiro took a breathe before taking a few steps closer as to stand opposite to Envy. It was beyond arm's length however.

The male grappler was waiting for the bell to ring or the referee to permit a start of the match; but he stood with his hands to his sides while looking down at the cruel vixen. She needed a different kind of treatment, whether it failed or not remained to be seen. Unless she wished to talk, Hiroyuki chose to keep his previous expression of a small smile as to assuage his minor worries. He looked strong and quite fit for his profession, given this. A shining example of a fighter ready to participate...
