Mara Ashford vs. Finlay Zeffer - Playful Wager

Mara felt more excited than usual tonight. She would be facing her fellow Shadow Fortress alumnus, Finlay Zeffer. She had to admit that she a little bit of crush on the handsome New Zealander, and the opportunity to have her hands on those toned body of his was something that she couldn't allow to slip away. Also, she wanted to test her own skill against him.

Mara couldn't stop herself from smiling as she imagined what was going to happen in the ring. Giggling to herself, she almost missed her cue to make her entrance. Now feeling a little silly, Mara made her way out to the ramp, making her entrance. The crowd cheered for the Ashford as she showed up. Smiling, Mara waved her hand as she made her way down to the ring where she would face Finlay soon.

Entering the ring, Mara didn't waste her opportunity to pose for the crowd, showing off her figure for all to see. Unlike her mother and sister, Mara wasn't quite an unsavory figure in the ring, at least when she was on her own. That allowed the crowd to cheer for her. And the fact that she had both cuteness and sexiness in her helped as well.

Once she was done posing for the crowd, Mara made her way to her corner so that she could wait for Finlay to show up. She seemed eager to see him making his entrance, and she had to keep herself from bouncing excitedly there. Draping her arms over the ropes, she directed her gaze at the entrance to see the New Zealander making his appearance.

Finlay walked to the start of the entrance ramp with a stoic expression that was common for him, or rather, a near stoic expression. Despite himself he found that a small smirk had come upon his face and wouldn't quite leave despite himself. Not that he could really blame himself really.

Prior to his match tonight he had been confronted by his opponent Mara Ashford and had a... interesting conversation. One that led to a unique stipulation for their bout which would be known solely by the two of them. Simply being that the loser of this match would buy lunch for the winner tomorrow. On what would essentially be a date.

Smirking to himself at the thought Finlay would admit the thought was appealing to him regardless of who paid and it only made him more excited for this bout tonight. So once his music hit he would immediately step through the curtain and out onto the ramp to a decent size response from the crowd.

Nodding to them with the small smile still present on his face Finlay would start to walk down the ramp, eyes laser focused on the ring and his opponent within. Jumping up onto the apron as he approached he would hop over the ropes and into the ring, red wrestling tights, dark boots and more built stature creating a stark contrast to his opponent.

Despite it however his smile only got wider. "Hope you're ready." He said simply while looking Mara over head to toe. He definitely found her attractive to be sure, but more importantly he found her reserved yet playful personality refreshing, and her ring iq quite impressive. All things he valued more than physical looks, though it certainly wasn't a issue with Mara. Either way he would admit that a date with her, was definitely not something he would mind, even if she would have to pay for it since he had no intention of losing tonight.

Mara could barely contain her excitement as Finlay made his entrance. She kept her eyes on the New Zealander as he went down the ramp, heading over to the ring where they would face each other in the match. She had a giddy smile on her face when Finlay finally joined her in the ring, and after stepping forward, moving to the center of the ring, Mara smiled at Finlay as posed coyly, leaning forward with her hands behind her.

"I'm always ready~"

Mara couldn't help but reply to Finlay's words with singsong voice. The referee would get there to check on both Finlay and Mara to see whether they were ready or not. Nodding to the referee, indicating that she was ready, Mara would get into position as the referee called for the bell, starting the match between her and her opponent. The crowd cheered as the match finally started.

To start off the match, Mara would lower her body, hands held out as if ready to lock up with Finlay. But the lock up with just a misdirection because as soon as she surged forth, Mara would try to slip past the New Zealander, moving behind him so that she could get her arms around his waist from behind, capturing him in a rear waist lock. She would also press her breasts against his back as she did so.

Entering the ring and standing fully one before locking eyes and exchanging words with his opponent Mara. It was nothing major or dramatic. Just a simple show of acknowledgement that could have been called cold indifference as was common for Finlay. But the small smirk on his face gave him away, really he was just eager and in a rare teasing mood with Mara.

Something that the Ashford understood easily and responded right back in the aloof way that Finlay found himself admiring more and more whenever he spent time with her. Of course her own, playful yet equally competitive and teasing response made him all the more excited. Something that showed as he got low, raising his hands in preparation for the bout.

Quickly approaching Mara the blonde would mentally prepare for whatever Mara would try, knowing she was trickier than appearances would lead one to believe. Something she showed right off the bat as she moved in, seemingly going for a lock up, only to switch gears and pace behind him, wrapping her arms around him for a rear waist lock!

"Ngh!" Grunting in surprise Finlay would drop his center of gravity, both making it harder for her to try and manipulate his positioning while also dropping as much weight on her hands as possible. If successful and if he broke the grip he would try to pivot behind Mara, attempting to wrap her in a rear waist lock of his! All while trying his best to not show the slight blush on his face from the feeling of her chest on his back.

Successfully catching Finlay in the rear waist lock, Mara was planning to hoist him up in a surprise German suplex, but the New Zealander dropped his center of gravity, making it difficult for Mara to execute the move. Unable to lift him up, Mara then lost her grip on Finlay's waist as he managed to slip away before he made his way to her back and grabbed her in a rear waist lock of his own.

"Aahhn!"

Letting out a girlish shriek, Mara tried her best to prevent her opponent from lifting her up from this position. She would bring her hands to Finlay's, trying to pry his arms off of her as she would push her backside backwards, bumping against his lap. Right after that, she would try to hook one of her legs around one of Finlay's before yanking at it so that she could push him down onto the mat, with her ending up on top of him.

Finlay grunted as he managed to successfully push down Mara's hands breaking her waist lock before spinning around behind her to to reverse the position. 'Now if only I can get the suplex off.' He thought to himself, already knowing this would be the most difficult part of the exchange. After all both were fighting with all they had, and these early moments would be filled with non stop counters and reversals.

Sure enough just as he predicted Mara was fighting back hard, pushing at this hands and doing everything to make it nearly impossible to lift her up... Also rubbing her ass against his groin, whether it was intentional or not it made Finlay blush softly and in turn created an opening for Mara. An opening that allowed the girl to get her leg behind Finlay's and push back, bowling him over and causing Mara to fall on top of him!

"Ngh.." Grunting softly and instinctively raising his shoulder off the mat Finlay would flash a small, barely noticeable grin at Mara. "Well... this is a way to start the match." He said up to her before suddenly going into action, attempting to roll them over and push Mara down below him for a quick pinfall attempt!

Successfully taking down Finlay with her backside bump, Mara was on top of him, and she somehow looked awfully proud of what she had done. "At least you don't hate it, do you?" But before she could take advantage of this, she was suddenly pushed off by Finlay, who quickly put himself up after rolling the two of them over before he went for a quick pinfall attempt.

"ONE!"

Immediately after the count of one, Mara kicked out of the pin. Shoving Finlay off of her, Mara looked at him and said, "Still too early for that, don't you think?" Getting herself on her knees, Mara would rise back up onto her feet as she would prepare herself for what was coming next. She would reach out to Finlay, grabbing him to ensure that he was within her reach for her next move.

Finlay smirked down at Mara now that he had reversed their positions so he was on top of her. "No but I think I like this more." He said down softly to her while the ref dropped down, starting the pin, but not getting very far before Mara kicked out and shoved him away.

Despite that however though the blonde wasn't too effected, quite the contrary in fact he would look up at the Ashford with a small smile. "Maybe but you can't blame me for trying." He shot back as she reached out to grab him. But Finlay would try to once again take advantage, looking to grab hold of the girl's wrist and duck before turning, trying to get behind Mara and pull her arm back in a hammerlock.

Right after kicking out, Mara got herself back up and grabbed onto Finlay to ensure that he was within her reach. But the New Zealander managed to grab her wrist before he went to put her into a hammerlock. "NGHH!" She winced as Finlay put her in the hammerlock. She tried her best to ease the pain before she attempted to reverse it, ducking and twisting before she attempted to put Finlay into a hammerlock of her own.

If she was successful in putting Finlay into the hammerlock, she would begin wrenching his arm as she positioned herself behind him. At the same time, she would try to think of what to do next in order to keep her upper hand over him.

Finlay knew from the get go that this would be a technically founded match, it was both his and Mara's specialty after all and arguably the area they were each the most eager to test each other in with no holding back. So pulling back on the girl's arm with a hammerlock Finlay wouldn't be surprised in the slightest once Mara ducked low, untwisting from his grasp and reversing things on him so he was in the hammerlock!

"NGHH!" Grunting in pain similar to Mara after he did the same Finlay would look up into Mara's eyes... and smirk. Ducking low he untwisted out of her grasp and spun on his heel before pulling on the connected arms and raised his free arm up, trying to bowl Mara over with a ripcord clothesline to knock the Ashford girl off her feet and onto the mat!
