Melissa was getting ready from the locker room for her first match, she didn't mind about her opponent as she can enjoy having a good match. The last thing she was doing is fixing her gear and boots before getting out.

Once she left the lockers area, she would walk around the backstage area, wearing her gear and a black t-shirt above, which covered her midsection and upper body. As she walks, she looks around before going to the arena, moment in which she would see Jaune, but she didn't know that he was her first and official opponent in LAW's mixed division.

Jaune had shaking off his recent loss to Alizeh in quick fashion. He could not blame himself to much as Jaune did all that he could. Using move after move yet still falling short. It only showed him that he needed to improve more. The only way to do that would be to participate in more matches. So with this in mind he was eager to get back in the ring with this experience. Jaune was unsure about his current opponent. Huh she’s new. Very new, I hope I can still get something from this. But I have to be careful to not take her lightly. Jaune told himself as he finished the preparations for his attire. The officials nearby would alert Jaune that it was his time.

Once leaving the locker room Jaune would wait patiently until his music started. He would walk around the backstage area to his starting position. Completely unaware that he would meet his opponent just before his entrance. Losing himself in thought, Jaune would leave his body on auto pilot. Unaware of his general surroundings, he would accidentely bump into a female figure that was walking his direction. Ah shit sorry

Melissa was walking around backstage to prepare herself for the match. She was so nervous and a bit scared that she couldn't realize Jaune was there, also bumping her shoulder with his, accidentally.

"Oh, I'm sorry... I didn't see you, i was just nervous because i don't know who will my opponent be... Melissa said in response after hearing him, she seemed like she was going to freak out due to the nerves and panic she was currently having.

Jaune just about to make his entrance lost himself in thought. Not paying attention as to where he was walking. Accidently bumping into someone along the way, quickly apologizing Jaune looked down to see the person he bumped into.

Naturally she would also apologize. Though this person would also add on that she was nervous because she did not know her opponent. A quick thought came to Jaune as he looked at his opponent. Wait she looks familiar Jaune took a breath before taking a chance. Hey by any chance are you Melissa? Jaune asked as he did minor research on his opponent before hand.

After the accidental bump, she would look at him, and realized she wasn't the only person who got nervous before a match.

"Yes, I'm Melissa Moon, but i rather prefer to be called 'Moon'. And by any chance, are you Jaune?" She asked the same question to him while standing near him, maybe she have met her opponent before going to the arena, maybe not. But she also realized that he seemed to be a friendly and nice guy.

Yup Jaune Arc’s the name Jaune said trying to keep things upbeat, but now with both names said outloud. Jaune knew for certain that this was his opponent. Maybe Melissa reached the same conclusion as him, but still Jaune was nice enough to keep things going. “Oh boy its going to be a hard match out there huh?” Jaune said keeping his smile trying to ease up the tensions plaguing his opponent.

At that moment, it was fully cleared for her that he will be her opponent in their match.

"For sure, this match will be a tough one..."

Yeah I’m sure it will be. But lets keep things fun and fair and we’ll both be happy with what he get.. Hopefully. Jaune said trying to defuse the situation, following that though an official would come over and ask for Melissa to do her entrance. With that being said it meant that their match was coming up now.
