"He's going to regret this..." *Kieda chanted to herself, reciting this mantra ad nauseam to reinforce it into her psyche. Ever since the malicious upstart Karbon had deftly humiliated her a few days ago, the cobalt kunoichi was adamant on trying to vindicate herself of any and all mortifying scars that left on her otherwise immaculate self-esteem. Casually sliding her arms through her flashy jacket, shimmying her svelte legs through her elastic jeans Kieda couldn't ignore the other X factor in this fight- Her beloved Mina Piper, someone she had developed strong feelings towards over the course of the months they had gotten to know one another. While her original intentions of signing to law included nothing but personal accomplishment, she had inadvertently found a faint, flickering ember of love that had quickly transformed into a raging conflagration that she could not, and would not, extinguish. How she was going to control her fluctuating emotions and emerge victorious was a mystery to her, but somehow, some way, she would be bringing home the victory here tonight...she just needed to convince herself of it first.*
"Well, looks like it's time..." *She quietly stated, hearing the boisterous crowd shouting*
"Fashion Assassin! Fashion Assassin!" *From the locker room. She had managed to garner quite the avid following from her last few scuffles, which truly sent her heart aflutter with appreciation. If only they knew how much they meant to her, but tonight had been preserved for a thrilling clinic of aerial expertise, not a sentimental campfire song dedicated to her supporters, and Kieda was obstinate on keeping it that way. As she stormed through the throngs of people backstage, her heart began racing from the miscellaneous thoughts that clouded her otherwise crystal vision. Before she had a chance to address this issue however, her music dropped, and the crowd demanded her presence.*
"Gotta give the people what they want~" *She chuckled, trying to assuage her fears by propelling herself through the darkened screen to a massive ovation! As she remained sedentary for a moment, basking in the ineffably energizing attention from her adoring entourage, Kieda gradually took her first steps towards the vacant ring. With various cries of reassurance and appreciation, Kieda would simply nod in acknowledgement before reaching the ring apron, subsequently hopping up and planting her feet against the canvas before cartwheeling her way inside.*
*Without uttering another word, she approached her empty, neutral corner before plopping her cushiony rear against the center turnbuckle while patiently awaiting her opponents for the evening. Her cluttered mind was still unsettled, which would prove to be a bedeviling hinderance if it continued throughout the course of the match.*
