The Dominion (Derek Young) vs. Belinda Northman- The Gauntlet Part 1

Derek would desperately fight against the Boston crab, scampering on his belly and squirming forward using his forearms and elbows to drag himself and crawl towards the ring ropes. He would finally get to them, despite the pain he felt on his back due to the submission move. In his mind, he now had to be more wary of Belinda who was proving to be quite a challenge for him.

As soon as he would get to the ring ropes, Belinda would let him go even before the referee would get a chance to intervene. She was not the type to bend the rules against anyone and would back away much to the appreciation of the crowd. Derek would take a moment to catch his breath while still holding the ring ropes but eventually would get back up and would turn to face the blonde.

"Tch, I'm not done with you yet" he would growl looking to lunge at her wildly and attempted to ram his shoulder into her abs to take her down with a spear. The move was quite reckless and was more fueled with rage than a tactical decision.

Seeing Derek turn to face her, the blonde would nod her head, though hearing his growl and seeing that wild lunge towards her, Belinda would ready a counter attack. A reckless attack like that wasn't going to catch her off guard just yet!

As she watched Derek rush in at her and try and drive himself into her, the blonde would quickly try and drop down as he got close, throwing herself to the canvas as she tried to hook one of his arms with her own, and pull him along as she sought to bring him down onto the canvas with an armdrag!

Young Derek would turn to face her, Belinda was eager to get things going and would nod at his direction. It was pretty obvious as to what his intentions were and when he lunged at the blonde, she would ready herself. Derek's charge was reckless and very predictable, Belinda would stand her ground even when he would start to rush her and when he got in close she would drop down on the canvas whilst grabbing his arm in the process as well.

In one swift move, Belinda would use his own momentum and the grip of his arm to take the boy down on the mats in a armdrag! "Urrghh!" he cried out as he fell face first on the mat, with his arm captivated by the blonde.

[Devastated]

Swinging around and pulling Derek's arm along for the ride as she swung him over for that armdrag, throwing the Dominion member down onto the canvas. A smirk on her face as she managed to catch him off guard while being reckless and foolhardy. The blonde would pull back and get up towards her feet, looking to then suddenly turn and run towards the ropes!

Aiming to bounce off of them and come back towards Derek, hoping to catch him as he was rising up as she would drop down and into a slide as she sought to nail him across his chest with her forearm, trying to smack in with a Sliding D!

His wild lunge and spear attempt was effortlessly countered by Belinda, who would grab onto the arm of the onrushing Derek before swinging around and pulling on it to drag the male down onto the mat. Derek would moan out loud and clutch his back for a moment, catching his breath from the sudden flip to the ground. The Swede was in control and she was going to show just how good she was. Taking advantage of his eagerness and reckless move, the blonde would get back up on her feet and run towards the ring ropes before bouncing off them and coming right back at the downed Derek who had now pushed up onto a seated position.

In prime position now, Belinda would slide in and strike her forearm into the chest of Derek causing a loud SMACK to be heard near ringside and the young Derek would immediately go back down on his back clutching his now reddened chest in pain.

[Devastated]

Belinda came rushing right in at the downed Derek and slid in, smashing her forearm right into his chest and sending him crashing onto his back. Nailing him with that sliding D and it looked as if she had rocked his senses a bit. The blond would quickly bound up to her feet and take to running again! Using her speed to her advantage against as she charged right towards the ropes!

Aiming to jump up and bounce off of the middle rope, flipping in the air as she would try and come crashing down front first across Derek's frame. Aiming to hit a Lionsault! If she hit, she'd quickly try and hook Derek's leg and go for a pin attempt!

Right as he sat up, Belinda would take him back down on his back with a Sliding D attack. That left the Derek back down on the mat, clutching his chest whilst moaning in pain. In his dazed state, the blonde would get back up on her feet and look to press on her advantage, running towards the ropes before bouncing off them and leaping back towards the young man.

Belinda came down on top of him, delivering a lionsault maneuver which further flattened him against the mat and knocked the wind outta the youngest member of the Dominion faction. Going for the pin, the boy laid there on his back winded out and struggling to catch his breath but still managed to just about barely kick out after the count of two.

"Hah....n-no" he moaned weakly.

[Devastated]

Locking in the pin and forcing him down against the canvas, the referee was quick to start the count as they slapped their hand down on the canvas. Holding her breath as she waited to see if the lionsault would be enough to put him out of action...though it looked as if it wouldn't be! As Derek would kick out and force her up onto her knees.

Shaking her head a bit, Belinda would drag her hand through her short blond hair...deciding that she hadn't done enough damage to Derek clearly, she would start to rise up to her feet and look to grab at Derek by his head and start to guide him up towards his feet. Aiming to force that head in under her armpit, Belinda would then try and swing one of Derek's arms over her neck, as she'd reach for his leg next. Aiming to hook it up and then try to lift and swing him backwards as she would try and slam him down onto the canvas with a Fisherman's Suplex!

Should she hit she'd try and bridge for another pin attempt!

The Sliding D followed by the impressive lionsault had left the young male rookie winded out and down on his backside. Realizing that the boy was struggling to get back up Belinda would quickly go down on top of him and pin him down against the canvas. Derek would just about manage to kick out of the pinfall but it seemed he was really struggling to keep up against Belinda. Despite his impressive endurance, he would surely exhaust himself if all he did was take in offence.

Belinda showed no signs of slowing down either, grabbing him by his head to pull him up before slamming him back down in a Fisherman’s suplex. “Guuughh’ he cried. He felt his body stiff up and unable to move because Belinda followed the suplex with a bridge pin.

“One…two…th-NO” the referee would shout raising her breaks to break the pin just when Derek managed to get a shoulder up and break the pin at the last second.

[Devastated]

Bridging for that pin attempt after the Fisherman's Suplex, keeping one of his legs still hooked as she tippy-toed to keep the bridge going. However she was knocked off of her position as Derek would break free from the pin attempt. Rolling over onto her front, Belinda would push up to her feet and release a huff of air.

" Okay then...Let's try this! " Belinda let out as as she would then try and move towards Derek again. Looking to go for a finish this time, as she would try and force Derek over onto his back, looking to grab a hold of his legs and cross them as she'd then try and bridge over and above him, aiming to lock in the cross-legged bridging boston crab hold that was her finisher, Orion's Cross!
