The Dragon's debut. Ryu vs Mayori

Ryu was forced down onto her knees as she could not escape at first as the female wrestler manage to trap him on the mat. With the other wrestler's legs around her body she would slowly weakening as she tried to escape the move as he tried to pry the legs that were around his upper body apart. As the longer that hold was locked in the more weaker he would become.

Still it would not be easy as Mayori had her biceps around his left forearm. Her thighs up and against his right shoulder while her boots grasped his right elbow. Making it impossible to move her arms as he was trapped . His only option was to somehow power out of her predicament as he tried to do that as her hold was draining his power as he tried to rise back to her feet in the hopes of making it easier to power out.

Ryu's strength was still very much in play.

He managed to get himself up from the canvas and this prompted Mayori to try for the single armbar - Ryu's right arm. As she began to loosen her thighs around his left bicep, Ryu was back up to his knees. The surprised Hachijo girl abandoned the armbar and panicked, which made her find her footing on the canvas.

Ryu was standing back up and her arms were up, her hands still holding on to his right forearm. Mayori needed to either put a boot in his stomach or use Ryu's right arm as leverage to take him back down to the canvas for another ground hold.

In that one to two seconds, Ryu had a chance to evade her and get clear...or counterattack while her body was open.

Ryu would try with all his might to raise his arm , and while it did not seem to be working at first he did feel the hold becoming looser after an while. As the first to loosen up was Mayori's thighs around his left bicep as he manage to get up to his knees. At which point the other wrestler would cut her losses , and let go as she kept her hands on his right forearm.

The sudden realization he was freed caused Ryu to drop his guard as she hit him in the stomach with her boot as he bended over as he would gasp for air as he swung his free fist towards Mayori's side in the hopes of causing her to back up before she could land another blow.

Mayori was stung by one of the stray shots Ryu sent.

Her left oblique was grazed and then took a second shot more directly in the same spot as Ryu fought to regain her grapple. She wanted to take him back to the canvas, but Ryu managed to halt that with his free fist. Mayori was stopped from trying to ground him, but she was determined to try something else since those shots were more out of desperation on Ryu's part.

The Hachijo girl tried moving inside of Ryu's guard and get behind him while circling his waist with her arms. If the waistlock succeeded, she then try to take Ryu up and back with a belly to back suplex. This sort of move would be tried on a smaller opponent, but Ryu only outweighed her by less than 15 kilograms. The match was young and she still had the ability to at least try such a maneuver.

If the suplex worked, Mayori would take some recovery breaths before she went back to work on Ryu with some grounding holds.

One of his punches would connect , and allow him to slowly fight back as he began to regain the grapple. However the other wrestler was not done yet as she would move inside Ryu's guard , and get behind him . Her arms would circle around his waist as Mayori would manage to trap him in an waistlock , and then in an show of strength that the pinkette did not think she had in her he would be lifted off his feet. He would be held into the air for an few seconds before he was dropped onto his head and upper back as Ryu clutched his head as an result as the crowd cheer loudly for Mayori.

The move was a success and Mayori sensed that she could safely get some endurance recovery breaths in as she rolled from her side and onto her knees.

She had the pink-clad male wrestler down on the canvas and open for more ground-based attacks. As she took in several breaths, she stopped to realize that the majority of the crowd was actually cheering for her. She believed up until this point that Ryu was the favored one, but the wonderful feeling their approval provided helped shorten her recovery time considerably.

After a fifteen second respite, Mayori then went back to targeting Ryu's neck. She pushed him over onto his stomach and got on the mat above him, also on her stomach. She then applied a facelock, putting her right forearm under his chin and clasping it with her left hand. The hold was meant to sap him of recovery breaths as well as soften him up for her next maneuver. This was hardly a resting hold for the Hachijo girl. She was looking to get Ryu sluggish enough to catch him with her Rogue Wave finisher.

She was presuming that the cheers and her offense wouldn't cease and that Ryu wouldn't be able to regain the momentum.

Ryu was disorientated after being slammed onto the canvas by the other wrestler as the crowd was cheering the female wrestler on. As the Japanese wrestler was not winning them over right now with how he was preforming as Mayori had during the match. As the pinkette would be rolled over onto his stomach as he just groaned as he weakly tried to push her away when she got on top of him .

This was made difficult due to being on his stomach as he did try to turn around , but before he could Mayori would put her right forearm under his chin , and then clasp onto it with her left hand as she pulled backwards causing him to arch his back as he would grasp onto her right forearm. Hoping to push it away from his chin so he could break free.

Mayori wasn't finding the hold easy to keep the longer Ryu fought back.

He still had the edge when it came to upper body strength and his constant shifting made her forearm drift upward, making the hold more of an illegal choke. With the referee so close, they noticed the shifting in the hold and warned Mayori the best he could that she needed to break away.

She didn't understand common Japanese, but his right hand throwing digits at her translated the idea. She wasn't sure why she needed to break the hold, but she did anyway. She reached down and grasped the sides of Ryu's head and wanted to escort him to his feet, then to the ropes for a run. If she couldn't fight her way into a sapping hold, she needed to make the seemingly overwhelmed pinkette male wrestler sprint across the ring a couple of times.

Mayori shouted something in her native Hachijo as she struggled to get Ryu on his feet. Her ponytail drooped over her left shoulder as she bent down.

Ryu was fighting back with all he had in order to escape the hold Mayori had him trapped in. However the way it would happen would leave an bad taste in his mouth as the pinkette had caused the league hold that she bin using to end up in an illegal one as he heard the referee ordering Mayori to release the hold.

Now he wanted to say it was his fault , but with the way the current hold had him trapped he struggled to say anything as she felt her grasp the sides of his head as he was forced to stand up. This would be followed by being forced to spring across the ring to keep up with her as he tried to stop running as he dug his heels into the canvas in the ropes it would cause Mayori to release him.

Ryu's move, accidental or not, was shrewd and the action was now occupying the middle of the ring.

Mayori was forced to spring away from him, assisted by the springy ropes, and sent to the other side. Mayori met the opposite side's three ropes - bottom one with boots, middle with her bottom and top with her shoulders - and came right back to Ryu with the intent on giving him a stunning shotgun-like dropkick to his lower abdomen.

The pinkette's defined core muscles were a prime target and Mayori knew them to be a source of a male wrestler's strength. If she managed to accomplish a direct hit, she could keep Ryu down on the canvas for a further conquest of "earth" - according to Sun Tzu.
