Ryan Ashford vs. Dave Blake - Fortress of Ashes

Ryan did not pursue his opponent who was outside the ring as he instead waited for him to return back inside. Wearing a neutral expression, he rolled his shoulder as soon as Dave made his way back into the ring. He would approach him before he could try getting back up, bending down to grab him by his head, pulling him back up onto his feet.

Upon getting Dave back onto his feet, Ryan would wrap his arm around his head, looking to put him in a front facelock. He would reach for the waist of his trunks so that he could attempt to lift him up into a vertical position, looking to throw him down onto the mat, back first, with a vertical suplex!

It took Dave some time to roll his body back into the ring. Already the toll of the beatdown was making itself known. Propping himself on all fours, the young man was just about to get into the fight when Ryan dragged him by his head. The jobber let out a soft groan, feeling Ryan lock him into position, grabbing a fistful of his tights and lifting him high into the air! Everything seemed to slow down for a moment, the crowd looking at him with pity as he was being systematically destroyed.

The his back exploded in agony when it made contact with the hard surface of the ring. All the air was driven clean out of his body, skull slamming into the matted wooden planks underneath.

Slamming Dave into the mat with the vertical suplex, Ryan stood over his opponent's body for a few seconds before he bent down, grabbing him by his head to pull him into all four, preparing his next course of action. He would then pull his head between his thighs, putting him in a standing headscissor where he would then wrap his arm around his body in order to hoist him up.

"Hrrhhhh..." Grunting as he would support Dave's weight, he would lift him up onto his shoulders before throwing him down onto the mat again, this time with a powerbomb. The ring-shaking move would surely deal a massive damage on his opponent. This display of dominance from Ryan earned him a loud cheer from the crowd.

Dave was scatterbrained from the moment his body was slammed into the canvas. All the sound seemed to be distant, and the many faces seemed to blur and meld into a visual mess to his dazed mind.A pair of strong hands grasped his head, shoving him between Ryan's legs and wrapping his arms around the jobber's waist.

Blake tried to throw some weak punches into Ryan to loosen the hold, but in no time at all, he was tossed down in a powerbomb so brutal, there were audience members wincing at the sight of Dave's body crumpling and rolling to the edge of the ring

Throwing Dave down with the ring-shaking powerbomb, Ryan would stand over him for a few seconds before he bent down, grabbing him so that he could drag him towards the nearest corner. He was planning to end this match with a big move, and after setting him up close to the turnbuckle, he would head over to the turnbuckle, getting outside the ropes and climbing it up.

He would face away from the ring, standing on top of the turnbuckle before he leaped up, performing a majestic flip in the air as he would attempt to hit his opponent with a corkscrew 450° splash, also known as Phoenix Splash!

Dave was laying still in the ring, little more than dead weight at this point. He dimly felt a strong iron grip clamp over his wrist and leg, dragging his broken body over to the corner. Dave coughed, clutching his body as he was rolled over onto his back, the bright arena lights blinding him and making his dazed eyes flutter.

The lights momentarily faded out of sight, as the silhouette of Ryan's body spiraled down to meet him!!! He tried to roll away, but it was too little too late, as Ryan's slammed down heavily into Dave's chest, crushing his lungs and leaving the young man on the verge of a knock out! His limbs went still, head tilting to the side as a final sigh slipped past his lips.

Ryan climbed up the turnbuckle before leaping up into the air, performing a Phoenix Splash and landing onto Dave. Thinking that the move should have done its job, Ryan would hook his arm under Dave's knee, going for a pinfall attempt.

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

Dave was hanging on the edge when the Phoenix splash hit. Arms and legs jerked up, before falling limp to his sides. Even as his lips were parted, only the softest of groans could be heard. Ryan seemed perfectly calm, not even having a doubt that his opponent was going to kick out judging by how leisurely he hooked his arm under Dave's leg.

Sliding in, he ref's hand seemed to go in and out of focus, slapping down with hard enough to echo in the jobber's mind,

"THREE!!!"

And with that, Ryan got his first victory in the promotion, and it was an easy win. He then got back up, staring coldly at Dave who was easily defeated. Letting out a huff, he crossed his arms over his chest before addressing the man whom he defeated.

"You have no right to be in the ring..." Ryan said. "You better quit when you still have time..." And with that, he made his exit from the ring, with Michelle giving him way by pulling the ropes open for him. And without glancing back, the couple made their way back to backstage, basking in the cheers from the crowd.
