Whether it was in studious preparation for his policeman's exam or struggling to keep his balance as helped carry an elderly neighbor's groceries into their house, Lloyd had a knack for concentrating on the task at hand with the utmost conviction. Well, except for today anyway. Summoning the courage and strength of will to continue onward with his assignment after being so thoroughly dismantled by the nefarious Yin in his last match would have been quite the undertaking in and of itself. Anyone whose witnessed that infamous encounter can easily imagine how Lloyd's self-confidence would have been shattered afterwards, but now the plucky detective was also awash with conceptual ideas designed towards countering the masked assassin in ways he has never even contemplated beforehand. And this was all thanks to the valued input of his new partner~...and impending opponent. Demure, sophisticated, captivating, buxom...No, no that's my co-workers talking. Lloyd huffed in exasperation besides the gorilla position. Regardless of his internal machinations centered on methods of thwarting his masked nemesis, the enchanting source of his inspirations, or the persistent apprehension reminding him of the last time he stepped through the ring ropes, all of those wayward thoughts were only just now dissipating as he became focused on the challenge awaiting him. Lloyd had a duty as a lawman, and for now his assignment entailed putting on a show for the audience on his way towards bringing justice to LAW, even if it meant putting his new partner through the wringer in the process.

Lloyd remained steadfast behind the curtain with some limbering stretches and soothing breaths taken as he waited for the signal. Once his theme starts playing, it isn't until the tempo and uplifting lyrics kick in that the Blazing Tiger makes his steadied approach from behind the blackened curtains to jubilant adulation form the raucous beachgoers. A reaction that was perhaps spurred on by the beach party atmosphere and frequent trips to the outdoor gazebo bar, but the rookie detective appreciated the welcome adoration. He just hoped it wasn't because they were hoping to see a repeat of what happened last time. Adrenaline coursed throughout his veins from the sheer excitement of the match and his rocking theme song playing through the speakers. Thankfully the butterflies fluttering within his breadbasket dissipated despite the fact his wrestling attire was this time around was nothing more than some tightened bathing trunks. Although he figured this wasn't much different from his typical wrestling attire aside from the fact he made sure to apply liberal sunscreen lotion to his bare skin beforehand, unintentionally bringing a glimmering sheen to his muscled physique that already caught the attention of enticed ladies at ringside. Lloyd stepped through the ring ropes and opted to stand on the middle ropes of a turnbuckle and swatted a beach ball he'd brought to the ring into the cheerful audience before hopping down to fixate his attention on the ring ramp. "Alright, let's do this. Randy always did say that there's no better way get to know someone than through a rough scrap with shared drinks afterwards..."

In the short walk from the hotel down to the beach, Elie had gone through a whirlwind of emotions. Shock, anxiety, distress. But now that she was finally preparing to enter the beach ring? She was excited. Happy. A little nervous too, but that's natural. She had a chance encounter with her opponent on the beach, and while the platinum haired beauty had initially had her reservations...she now felt like she had hit the jackpot. Lloyd's rippling physique flashed in her mind along with a recollection of trying to squeeze his arm tight so she could feel that rock hard bicep of his. And he was charming. A little bit dorky and awkward with a babyface, but his smile had a way of making the butterflies in her stomach flutter. And now she gets to roll around with him on the beach in a match? She just wished the detective was wearing a speedo, and that this was a private affair, and not in front of countless beachgoers who had turned out to witness the girl make her debut against Lloyd. Who had seemed a little dejected and frustrated with his most recent loss, owing to the...circumstances in which it had happened. Elie hadn't seen the recording of his match with Yin, and frankly she didn't want to. She might...break something if she came across that scene where Yin had kissed Lloyd-

Elie clapped her hands against her face to psyche herself up, and to get that thought out of her head. Lloyd and her, first and foremost, were partners. Partners of the law. She had to maintain a professional composure, even in this...revealing pink bikini which had been picked out for her. The measurements were all suspiciously correct as well, making her curious as to how they got that information. Well, she put that thought to one side for now. Once Lloyd had stepped out and introduced himself to the crowd, Elie was next to appear. Her theme kicked in as she stepped out, bare feet walking down the ramp that led to the sandy beach. Unlike her opponent, Elie had yet to apply any sunscreen. She had been about to, until she witnessed the ladies fixated on Lloyd's glistening physique which had been coated in lotion. The glare that rose on her face quickly gave way to an idea planting in her head. Slipping between the ropes, Elie approached her corner in a demure manner before turning to Lloyd with a coquettish expression, fist drawn over her lips. "Um...Lloyd? I uh...forgot my sunscreen. Do you think...you could..." Her eyes darted away, ever so briefly, before peeking across the ring at him. "...apply some to me...please?"
