Peggy came crashing down on top of Diago and as soon as he landed she reached over to hook a leg to pin the larger man! She hooked it tight and pressed down to pin him as securely as she could after her crash landing on top of him.
The official slid in to place to begin the pin count as Peggy held Diago down.
"ONE!"
"TWO!"

Re: Peggy McIntyre vs. Diago
That hurt. It hurt enough to leave him devastated after that devastating attack from the ropes; he had no energy or stamina left to keep fighting against the behemoth, or even to try anything at all after that. The Amazon climbed on top of him to go for the pin, but the man didn't even care, and before he knew it, the outcome was already decided.

What a way to make your debut against an established opponent...

Re: Peggy McIntyre vs. Diago
Peggy head the bell ring and she staggered up to her feet gasping for breath but smiling! She hobbled about with a hand held high for a bit, somewhat surprised she managed to come out on top. She leaned against the ropes and did a victory lap around the ring with a smile on her face. "I.. did it..." She said to herself.
Peggy would walk over and if Diago wasn't up yet she would offer to help him to his feet.

Re: Peggy McIntyre vs. Diago
It’s tough to be defeated, especially in your debut. As he recovered and his blurred vision cleared, he could see his victorious opponent getting to her feet and leaning on the ropes while she caught her breath. And just then, as Daigo tried to get up, Peggy herself came to his aid. This surprised the giant, even though she’d put him through hell during the fight
"...thanks for the fight," he said as he got up, "and sorry about the American Fist. Nothing personal, it's just that I have to play the heel to make more money for my cause and all that," he said, speaking honestly

Re: Peggy McIntyre vs. Diago
Peggy was about to talk to him and maybe lecture him a bit until he spoke up first. Her expression softened considerably as she looked at him. "What cause? I didn't know ya had pressure outside makin' ya do what ya do. That explains a lot." Peggy said as she stood there listening to him and looking up at him.

Re: Peggy McIntyre vs. Diago
Daigo wasn't thinking about the loss, but rather about what his friends would say about his debut. Maybe they'd congratulate him on his debut, or maybe they'd tease him about losing. Then the Irish woman asked him why he fought. "Well, let's just say there are people who depend on me bringing home money for food."
Obviously, he was referring to the orphanage where he worked, although his pay from L.A.W. would at least cover three months’ worth of supplies and, in the future, improve conditions there. “Well, I won’t bother you anymore and I’ll be on my way. You won in the end, and it’s your time to enjoy the victory,” he said, then turned and stepped over the ropes to head backstage to change.

Re: Peggy McIntyre vs. Diago
Peggy listened and raised an eyebrow as he spoke. "Wait a minute there, if things are that bad can I help ya at all?" Peggy asked before he left. She was happy she won but now wasn't feeling too great about it. She was still glad for herself that she won but the victory seemed hollow. "I can help a bit so..."

Re: Peggy McIntyre vs. Diago
Daigo was about to leave; he was already at ringside, heading to his “bedroom” (if you could even call that pigsty that) when Peggy stopped him and asked how she could help him. Daigo turned to face her, racking his head for an idea they could both use, until one came to him
"For our rematch, it could be a fight where all the proceeds go to charity," he said euphorically. "And if you know more people who can participate, even better," he added. His teammates surely wouldn’t have any problem supporting him.

Re: Peggy McIntyre vs. Diago
Peggy nodded and smiled. "Sure, we can do that. We'll make it happen and I can bring more people too." Peggy said letting Diago go. She did a final victory lap around the ring herself before exiting to head to the back, happy to have picked up a victory on this night.
